The finite element method is a key player in computational electromag-netics for designing RF(Radio Frequency)components such as *** frequency-domain analysis is fundamental to identify the characteristics of the *** the conventional frequency-domain electromagnetic analysis using FEM(Finite Element Method),the system matrix is complex-numbered as well as indeﬁ*** iterative solvers can be faster than the direct solver when the solver convergence is guaranteed and done in a few ***,such complex-numbered and indeﬁnite systems are hard to exploit the merit of the iterative *** is also hard to beneﬁt from matrix factorization techniques due to varying system matrix parts according to ***,it is hard to adopt conventional iterative solvers even though the system matrix is sparse.A new parallel iterative FEM solver for frequency domain analysis is implemented for inhomogeneous waveguide structures in this *** this implementation,the previous solution of the iterative solver of Matlab(Matrix Laboratory)employ-ing the preconditioner is used for the initial guess for the next step’s solution *** overlapped parallel stage using Matlab’s Parallel Computing Toolbox is also proposed to alleviate the cold starting,which ruins the convergence of early steps in each parallel *** experiments based on waveguide structures have demonstrated the accuracy and efﬁciency of the proposed scheme.

A Closure Study of Aerosol Hygroscopic Growth Factor during the 2006 Pearl River Delta Campaign

Measurements of aerosol physical, chemical and optical parameters were carried out in Guangzhou, China from 1 July to 31 July 2006 during the Pearl River Delta Campaign. The dry aerosol scattering coefficient was measured using an integrating nephelometer and the aerosol scattering coefficient for wet conditions was determined by subtracting the sum of the aerosol absorption coefficient, gas scattering coefficient and gas absorption coefficient from the atmospheric extinction coefficient. Following this, the aerosol hygroscopic growth factor, f（RH）, was calculated as the ratio of wet and dry aerosol scattering coefficients. Measurements of size-resolved chemical composition, relative humidity （RH）, and published functional relationships between particle chemical composition and water uptake were likewise used to find the aerosol scattering coe？cients in wet and dry conditions using Mie theory for internally- or externally-mixed particle species [（NH_4）_2SO_4, NH_4NO_3, NaCl, POM, EC and residue]. Closure was obtained by comparing the measured f（RH） values from the nephelometer and other in situ optical instruments with those computed from chemical composition and thermodynamics. Results show that the model can represent the observed f（RH） and is appropriate for use as a component in other higher-order models.

To emulate the functionality of the human retina and achieve a neuromorphic visual system,the development of a photonic synapse capable of multispectral color discrimination is of paramount ***,attaining robust color discrimination across a wide intensity range,even irrespective of medium limitations in the channel layer,poses a significant ***,we propose an approach that can bestow the color-discriminating synaptic functionality upon a three-terminal transistor flash memory even with enhanced discriminating *** incorporating the strong induced dipole moment effect at the excitation,modulated by the wavelength of the incident light,into the floating gate,we achieve outstanding RGB color-discriminating synaptic functionality within a remarkable intensity range spanning from 0.05 to 40 mW cm^(-2).This approach is not restricted to a specific medium in the channel layer,thereby enhancing its *** effectiveness of this color-discriminating synaptic functionality is demonstrated through visual pre-processing of a photonic synapse array,involving the differentiation of RGB channels and the enhancement of image contrast with noise ***,a convolutional neural network can achieve an impressive inference accuracy of over 94%for Canadian-Institute-For-Advanced-Research-10 colorful image recognition task after the *** proposed approach offers a promising solution for achieving robust and versatile RGB color discrimination in photonic synapses,enabling significant advancements in artificial visual systems.

Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is a sustainable alterna-tive to the Haber-Bosch process for ammonia(NH3)***,the significant uphill energy in the multistep NRR pathway is a bottleneck for favorable serial *** overcome this challenge,we designed a vanadium oxide/nitride(V_(2)O_(3)/VN)hybrid electrocatalyst in which V_(2)O_(3)and VN coex-ist coherently at the heterogeneous *** single-phase V_(2)O_(3)and VN exhibit different surface catalytic kinetics for NRR,the V_(2)O_(3)/VN hybrid elec-trocatalyst can provide alternating reaction pathways,selecting a lower energy pathway for each material in the serial NRR *** a result,the ammo-nia yield of the V_(2)O_(3)/VN hybrid electrocatalyst was 219.6µg h^(-1)cm^(-2),and the Faradaic efficiency was 18.9%,which is much higher than that of single-phase VN,V_(2)O_(3),and VNxOy solid solution catalysts without *** functional theory calculations confirmed that the composition of these hybrid electrocatalysts allows NRR to proceed from a multistep reduction reaction to a low-energy reaction pathway through the migration and adsorption of interme-diate ***,the design of metal oxide/nitride hybrids with coherent heterointerfaces provides a novel strategy for synthesizing highly efficient elec-trochemical catalysts that induce steps favorable for the efficient low-energy progression of NRR.

Microalgae are one of the promising feedstocks for biorefinery,contributing significantly to net-zero emissions through carbon capture and ***,the disposal of microalgal byproducts from the manufacturing process causes additional environmental pollution,thus,a new application strategy is *** this study,the Tetraselmis suecica byproduct from the carotenoid extraction process was carbonized and converted into *** converted biochar was proved to be nitrogen-doped biochar(NDB),up to 4.69%,with a specific surface area of 206.59m^(2)/g andwas used as an electrode for a *** NDB electrode(NDB-E)in half-cell showed a maximum specific capacitance of 191 F/*** a full-cell test,the NDB-E exhibited a high energy density of 7.396 Wh/kg and a high-power density of 18,100 W/kg,and maintained specific capacity of 95.5%after charge and discharge of 10,000 *** conclusion,our study demonstrated that the carotenoid-extracted microalgal byproducts are a useful resource for the supercapacitor *** approach is the first to convert *** into active materials for supercapacitors.

With the rise of remote collaboration,the demand for advanced storage and collaboration tools has rapidly ***,traditional collaboration tools primarily rely on access control,leaving data stored on cloud servers vulnerable due to insufficient *** paper introduces a novel mechanism that encrypts data in‘bundle’units,designed to meet the dual requirements of efficiency and security for frequently updated collaborative *** bundle includes updated information,allowing only the updated portions to be reencrypted when changes *** encryption method proposed in this paper addresses the inefficiencies of traditional encryption modes,such as Cipher Block Chaining(CBC)and Counter(CTR),which require decrypting and re-encrypting the entire dataset whenever updates *** proposed method leverages update-specific information embedded within data bundles and metadata that maps the relationship between these bundles and the plaintext *** utilizing this information,the method accurately identifies the modified portions and applies algorithms to selectively re-encrypt only those *** approach significantly enhances the efficiency of data updates while maintaining high performance,particularly in large-scale data *** validate this approach,we conducted experiments measuring execution time as both the size of the modified data and the total dataset size *** show that the proposed method significantly outperforms CBC and CTR modes in execution speed,with greater performance gains as data size ***,our security evaluation confirms that this method provides robust protection against both passive and active attacks.

With the increasing prevalence of lithium-ion batteries（LIBs） applications,the demand for high-capacity next-generation materials has also *** currently considered a promising anode material due to its exceptionally high capacity for ***,the significant volumetric changes of SiOxduring cycling and its initial Coulombic efficiency（ICE） complicate its use,whether alone or in combination with graphite *** this study,a three-dimensional conductive binder network with high electronic conductivity and robust elasticity for graphite/SiOxblended anodes was proposed by chemically anchoring carbon nanotubes and carboxymethyl cellulose binders using tannic acid as a chemical *** addition,a dehydrogenation-based prelithiation strategy employing lithium hydride was utilized to enhance the ICE of *** combination of these two strategies increased the CE of SiOxfrom 74% to87% and effectively mitigated its volume expansion in the graphite/SiOxblended electrode,resulting in an efficient electron-conductive binder *** led to a remarkable capacity retention of 94% after30 cycles,even under challenging conditions,with a high capacity of 550 mA h g-1and a current density of 4 mA ***,to validate the feasibility of utilizing prelithiated SiOxanode materials and the conductive binder network in LIBs,a full cell incorporating these materials and a single-crystalline Ni-rich cathode was *** cell demonstrated a～27.3% increase in discharge capacity of the first cycle(～185.7 mA h g-1) and exhibited a cycling stability of 300 ***,this study reports a simple,feasible,and insightful method for designing high-performance LIB electrodes.

目的评估电解式可脱性铂金弹簧圈（ＧＤＣ）早期血管内栓塞治疗以蛛网膜下腔出血为首发症状的颅内多发性动脉瘤的效果。方法回顾性分析自１９９８年１月至２０００）年５月经血管内栓塞治疗的２０例颅内多发性动脉瘤病人，共４４个动脉瘤。１２例病人中所有动脉瘤都在前循环，８例病人至少有１个动脉瘤在后循环。根据Ｈｕｎｔ和Ｈｅｓｓ评分，Ⅰ级４例，Ⅱ级７例，Ⅲ级６例，Ⅳ级３例。结果１８例病人１次治疗将所有动脉瘤栓塞，其余２例在１周内分２次治疗。４３个（９７．６％）动脉瘤得以完全栓塞（占５９％）和次全栓塞（占３８．６％），与操作有关的并发症为５％，无死亡病例。临床随访平均１０个月，无再出血，ＧＯＳ评分Ⅰ和Ⅱ级１８例。结论ＧＤＣ早期血管内栓塞治疗以蛛网膜下腔出血为首发症状的颅内多发性动脉瘤是安全有效的，并应尽可能在１次治疗中将所有动脉瘤栓塞。

High-mobility group box 1 was first discovered in the calf thymus as a DNA-binding nuclear protein and has been widely studied in diverse fields,including neurology and ***-mobility group box 1 in the extracellular space functions as a pro-inflammatory damage-associated molecular pattern,which has been proven to play an important role in a wide variety of central nervous system disorders such as ischemic stroke,Alzheimer’s disease,frontotemporal dementia,Parkinson’s disease,multiple sclerosis,epilepsy,and traumatic brain *** drugs that inhibit high-mobility group box 1 as a damage-associated molecular pattern,such as glycyrrhizin,ethyl pyruvate,and neutralizing anti-high-mobility group box 1 antibodies,are commonly used to target high-mobility group box 1 activity in central nervous system *** it is commonly known for its detrimental inflammatory effect,high-mobility group box 1 has also been shown to have beneficial pro-regenerative roles in central nervous system *** this narrative review,we provide a brief summary of the history of high-mobility group box 1 research and its characterization as a damage-associated molecular pattern,its downstream receptors,and intracellular signaling pathways,how high-mobility group box 1 exerts the repair-favoring roles in general and in the central nervous system,and clues on how to differentiate the pro-regenerative from the pro-inflammatory *** targeting high-mobility group box 1 in the central nervous system may benefit from differentiating between the two functions rather than overall suppression of high-mobility group box 1.
