To unlock the full potential of PSCs,machine learning(ML)was implemented in this research to predict the optimal combination of mesoporous-titanium dioxide(mp-TiO_(2))and weight percentage(wt%)of phenyl-C_(61)-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM),along with the current density(J_(sc)),open-circuit voltage(V_(oc)),fill factor(ff),and energy conversion efficiency(ECE).Then,the combination that yielded the highest predicted ECE was selected as a reference to fabricate PCBM-PSCs with nanopatterned TiO_(2)***,the PCBM-PSCs with nanopatterned TiO_(2)layers were fabricated and characterized to further understand the effects of nanopatterning depth and wt%of PCBM on ***,the highest ECE of 17.338%is achieved at 127 nm nanopatterning depth and 0.10 wt%of PCBM,where the J_(sc),V_(oc),and ff are 22.877 mA cm^(-2),0.963 V,and 0.787,*** measured J_(sc),V_(oc),ff,and ECE values show consistencies with the ML ***,these findings not only revealed the potential of ML to be used as a preliminary investigation to navigate the research of PSCs but also highlighted that nanopatterning depth has a significant impact on J_(sc),and the incorporation of PCBM on perovskite layer influenced the V_(oc)and ff,which further boosted the performance of PSCs.

A new set of Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer （IASI） channels was re-selected from 314 EUMETSAT channels. In selecting channels, we calculated the impact of the individually added channel on the improvement in the analysis outputs from a one-dimensional variational analysis （1D-Var） for the Unified Model （UM） data assimilation system at the Met Office, using the channel score index （CSI） as a figure of merit. Then, 200 channels were selected in order by counting each individual channel＇s CSI contribution. Compared with the operationally used 183 channels for the UM at the Met Office, the new set shares 149 channels, while the other 51 channels are new. Also examined is the selection from the entropy reduction method with the same 1D-Var approach, Results suggest that channel selection can be made in a more objective fashion using the proposed CSI method. This is because the most important channels can be selected across the whole IASI observation spectrum. In the experimental trial runs using the UM global assimilation system, the new channels had an overall neutral impact in terms of improvement in forecasts, as compared with results from the operational channels. However, upper-tropospheric moist biases shown in the control run with operational channels were significantly reduced in the experimental trial with the newly selected channels. The reduction of moist biases was mainly due to the additional water vapor channels, which are sensitive to the upper-tropospheric water vapor.

BACKGROUND Pyogenic infectious spondylitis(PIS)is a rare condition,with an incidence between 0.2 and 2 cases per 100000 per ***’s most common symptom-back or neck pain-occurs in more than 90%of ***,we reported a case of thoracic PIS accompanied by pneumothorax in a 65-year-old male *** SUMMARY A 65-year-old man presented with right chest pain and *** initial erect posteroanterior chest radiography revealed pneumothorax,which was further evaluated by chest computed tomography,revealing pleural effusion in the right lung and a paravertebral abscess with bony destruction of vertebral *** on magnetic resonance imaging,the patient was diagnosed with thoracic infectious spondylitis with an anterior paravertebral *** was prescribed antibiotics and underwent neurosurgery due to aggravated symptoms and neurologic *** examination revealed that the cause of pleural effusion and pneumothorax was Staphylococcus aureus infection contiguously spread to lung *** several surgical treatments with intravenous antibiotic therapy for two months and transition to oral antibiotics(rifampin 600 mg qd and ciprofloxacin 500 mg bid),the patient received physical therapy to recover *** month after discharge,the patient had no chest pain or dyspnea,and exhibited no elevation in inflammatory markers or new thoracic *** To our knowledge,this is the very first report of a case of thoracic PIS with pneumothorax.

Background:Despite remarkable advances in surgical techniques and perioperative management,left hepatic trisectionectomy(LHT)remains a challenging procedure with a somewhat high postoperative morbidity rate compared with less-extensive *** study aimed to analyze the short-and long-term outcomes of LHT and identify factors associated with the postoperative morbidity of this technically demanding surgical ***:The medical records of 53 patients who underwent LHT between june 2005 and October 2019 at a single institution were retrospectively *** independent prognostic factor of postoperative morbidity was analyzed using the logistic regression ***:Hepatocellular carcinoma was the most common indication for surgery(n=21),followed by hilar cholangiocarcinoma(n=14),intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(n=10),and other pathologies(including colorectal liver metastasis,hepatolithiasis,gallbladder cancer,living donor,hemangioma,and multilocular biliary cyst;n=8).The rates of postoperative morbidities of Clavien-Dindo grade 3 or higher and 90-day mortality were 39.6% and 1.9%,*** 1-,3-,and 5-year overall survival rates were 81.1%,61.4%,and 44.6%,*** analysis revealed that preoperative jaundice[hazard ratio(HR)=6.15,95%confidence interval(CI):1.57-24.17,P=0.009]and operative time>420 min(HR=4.66,95%CI:1.27–17.17,P=0.021)were independent predictors of postoperative ***:The in-hospital mortality of LHT surgery can be minimalized by a reliable preoperative evaluation of liver function and selection of the dominant anatomic features of right posterior sector,active and appropriate preoperative management for obstructive cholangitis and compensatory hypertrophy of the future remnant posterior sector,and the experience of the surgeon.

AIM:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sodium hyaluronate solution(SH) in endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) of gastric ***:A prospective multicenter randomized,double blind,controlled trial was designed and utilized in this study.A total of 76 patients with 5-20 mm sized gastric neoplasms were enrolled at three academic hospitals in South Korea from june 2011 to October *** were randomly assigned to the 0.4% sodium hyaluronate or control *** lesions underwent endoscopic *** was performed with 0.4%SH and normal saline(NS) solution for submucosal *** was assessed using en bloc resection and the number of additional *** evaluation variables were the volume of injection material,steepness of mucosal elevation,bleeding rate,procedural time and operator ***,the safety was assessed by analyzing adverse events during the ***:The usefulness rate in the 0.4%SH group and the controlled group had statistically significant difference under intention to treat(ITT) analysis(90.91% vs 61.11% P = 0.0041).Under per protocol(PP),the usefulness rate is statistically significant different(93.10% vs 61.76%,P = 0.0036).The difference in volume of the solution injected between 0.4%SH group and the controlled group and NS group was also statistically significant under intention to treat and per protocol analysis(ITT:0.03 ± 0.02 mL vs 0.06 ± 0.03 mL,P = 0.0003,PP:0.03 ± 0.02 mL vs 0.06 ± 0.03 mL,P = 0.0004).Satisfaction above the grade good was significantly higher in the SH group under intention to treat and per protocol analysis(ITT:90.91% vs 61.11%,P = 0.0041,PP = 93.11% vs 61.77%,P = 0.0022).Adverse events above grade 3 were not noticed in either *** adverse events were treated and were judged as not associated with the submucosal injection ***:0.4%SH solution is a safe and effective agent that doesn't cause any significant adverse events and is useful for submucos

To investigate the characteristic radiologic findings of cryptogenic multifocal ulcerous stenosing enteritis (CMUSE) which can be differentiated from other similar bowel disease and to assess their clinical behavior. METHODSTwenty pathologically and clinically confirmed CMUSE patients (males:females = 8:12; mean age: 40.4 years) between March 2002 and August 2015 from seven academic centers in South Korea were retrospectively reviewed. We evaluated small bowel series (SBS; n = 25), computed tomography (CT) enterography (n = 21), magnetic resonance (MR) enterography (n = 2), and abdominopelvic CT (n = 18) images, focusing on enteric and perienteric manifestations. Any change in radiologic features during follow-up period was recorded. We evaluated clinical data including presenting symptoms, laboratory finding and presence of relapse from electronic medical records. Histopathologic findings were also evaluated. RESULTSThe main symptoms were abdominal pain (n = 12) and anemia (n = 10). All patients showed small bowel strictures (n = 52, mean: 2.6 per patient) on initial CT/MR, located in the ileum (n = 47) or jejunum (n = 5). Strictures showed short-length (mean: 10.44 mm) and circumferential bowel wall thickening (mean: 5.56 mm) with layered enhancement (n = 48) that were also noted on initial SBS (n = 36) with shallow ulcers (n = 10). Some ulcerative lesions or wall thickening progressed into strictures on follow-up SBS/CT, and some strictures revealed recurrent ulceration on follow-up SBS. There were no penetrating disease features like fistula or abscess and no gastrointestinal tract involvement except the small bowel. Nine patients experienced disease recurrence (median relapse-free period: 32 mo) even post-operatively. Histopathologic features of surgically resected specimens were characterized as multiple superficial ulcerations confined to mucosa or submucosa and multiple strictures. The conversion of methane to olefins,aromatics,and hydrogen(MTOAH)can be used to stably obtain hydrocarbons when the effect of the catalytic surface is optimized from the reaction engineering *** this study,Fe/Si C catalysts were packed into a quartz tube *** catalytic surfaces of Si C and the impregnated Fe species decreased the apparent activation energies(E_a)of methane consumption in the blank reactor between 965 and 1020℃.Consequently,the hydrocarbon yield increased by 2.4times at 1020℃.Based on the model reactions of ethane,ethylene,and acetylene mixed with hydrogen in the range of 500-1020℃,an excess amount of Fe in the reactor favored the C-C coupling reaction over the selective hydrogenation of acetylene;consequently,coke formation was favored over the hydrogenation *** gas-phase reactions and catalyst properties were optimized to increase hydrocarbon yields while reducing coke *** 0.2Fe catalyst-packed reactor(0.26 wt%Fe)resulted in a hydrocarbon yield of 7.1%and a coke selectivity ofjusted to be≥*** on these findings,the facile approach of decoupling the reaction zone between the catalyst surface and the gas-phase reaction can provide insights into catalytic reactor design,thereby facilitating the scale-up from the laboratory to the commercial scale.

Objective： Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors （RECIST） guideline version 1.0 （RECIST 1.0） was proposed as a new guideline for evaluating tumor response and has been widely accepted as a standardized measure. With a number of issues being raised on RECIST 1.0, however, a revised RECIST guideline version 1.1 （RECIST 1.1） was proposed by the RECIST Working Group in 2009. This study was conducted to compare CT tumor response based on RECIST 1.1 vs. RECIST 1.0 in patients with advanced gastric cancer （AGC）. Methods： We reviewed 61 AGC patients with measurable diseases by RECIST 1.0 who were enrolled in other clinical trials between 2008 and 2010. These patients were retrospectively re-analyzed to determine the concordance between the two response criteria using the κ statistic. Results： The number and sum of tumor diameters of the target lesions by RECIST 1.1 were significantly lower than those by RECIST 1.0 （P〈0.0001）. However, there was excellent agreement in tumor response between RECIST 1.1 and RECIST 1.0 0（κ=0.844）. The overall response rates （ORRs） according to RECIST 1.0 and RECIST 1.1 were 32.7% （20/61） and 34.5% （20/58）, respectively. One patient with partial response （PR） based on RECIST 1.0 was reclassified as stable disease （SD） by RECIST 1.1. Of two patients with SD by RECIST 1.0, one was downgraded to progressive disease and the other was upgraded to PR by RECIST 1.1. Conclusions： RECIST 1.1 provided almost perfect agreement with RECIST 1.0 in the CT assessment of tumor response of AGC.
