Printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells(PM-PSCs)possess notable merits in terms of cost-effectiveness,easy manufacturing,and large scale ***,the absence of a hole transport layer contributes to the exacerbation of carrier recombination,and the defects between the perovskite and electron transport layer(ETL)interfaces significantly decrease the efficiency of the *** this study,a bifunctional surface passivation approach is proposed by applying a thioacetamide(TAA)surfactant on the mesoporous TiO_(2)*** results demonstrate that TAA molecules could interact with TiO_(2),thereby diminishing the oxygen vacancy ***,the amino group and sulfur atoms in TAA molecules act as Lewis base to effectively passivate the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)in perovskite and improve the morphology of perovskite,and decrease the trap-state density of *** TAA passivation mechanism improves the alignment of energy levels between TiO_(2)and perovskite,facilitating electron transport and reducing carrier ***,the TAA-passivated device achieved a champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 17.86%with a high fill factor(FF)of 79.16%and an open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))of 0.971 *** investigation presents a feasible strategy for interfacial passivation of the ETL to further improve the efficiency of PM-PSCs.

The self-assembly prodrugs are usually consisted of drug modules,activation modules,and assembly *** the balance between efficacy and safety by selecting suitable modules remains a challenge for developing prodrug *** study designed four docetaxel(DTX)prodrugs using disulfide bonds as activation modules and different lengths of branched-chain fatty alcohols as assembly modules(C_(16),C_(18),C_(20),and C_(24)).The lengths of the assembly modules determined the self-assembly ability of prodrugs and affected the activation modules’*** extension of the carbon chains improved the prodrugs’self-assembly ability and pharmacokinetic behavior while reducing the cytotoxicity and increased cumulative *** use of C_(20) can balance efficacy and *** results provide a great reference for the rational design of prodrug nanoassemblies.

Combining p-values is a well-known issue in statistical inference. When faced with a study involving m p-values, determining how to effectively combine them to arrive at a comprehensive and reliable conclusion becomes a significant concern in various fields, including genetics, genomics, and economics, among others. The literature offers a range of combination strategies tailored to different research objectives and data characteristics. In this work, we aim to provide users with a systematic exploration of the p-value combination problem. We present theoretical results for combining p-values using a logarithmic transformation, which highlights the benefits of this approach. Additionally, we propose a combination strategy together with its statistical properties utilizing the gold section method, showcasing its performance through extensive computer simulations. To further illustrate its effectiveness, we apply this approach to a real-world scenario.

4D-MAP:Multipath Adaptive Packet Scheduling for Live Streaming over QUIC

In recent years,live streaming has become a popular application,which uses TCP as its primary transport *** UDP Internet Connections(QUIC)protocol opens up new opportunities for live ***,how to leverage QUIC to transmit live videos has not been studied *** paper first investigates the achievable quality of experience(QoE)of streaming live videos over TCP,QUIC,and their multipath extensions Multipath TCP(MPTCP)and Multipath QUIC(MPQUIC).We observe that MPQUIC achieves the best performance with bandwidth aggregation and transmission ***,network fluctuations may cause heterogeneous paths,high path loss,and band-width degradation,resulting in significant QoE *** by the above observations,we investigate the multipath packet scheduling problem in live streaming and design 4D-MAP,a multipath adaptive packet scheduling scheme over ***,a linear upper confidence bound(LinUCB)-based online learning algorithm,along with four novel scheduling mechanisms,i.e.,Dispatch,Duplicate,Discard,and Decompensate,is proposed to conquer the above problems.4D-MAP has been evaluated in both controlled emulation and real-world networks to make comparison with the state-of-the-art multipath transmission *** results reveal that 4D-MAP outperforms others in terms of improving the QoE of live streaming.

AIM:To investigate the biomechanical properties and practical application of absorbable materials in orbital fracture ***:The three-dimensional(3D)model of orbital blowout fractures was reconstructed using Mimics21.0 *** repair guide plate model for inferior orbital wall fracture was designed using 3-matic13.0 and Geomagic wrap 21.0 *** finite element model of orbital blowout fracture and absorbable repair plate was established using 3-matic13.0 and ANSYS Workbench 21.0 *** mechanical response of absorbable plates,with thicknesses of 0.6 and 1.2 mm,was modeled after their placement in the *** patients with inferior orbital wall fractures volunteered to receive single-layer and double-layer absorbable plates combined with 3D printing technology to facilitate surgical treatment of orbital wall ***:The finite element models of orbital blowout fracture and absorbable plate were successfully *** element analysis(FEA)showed that when the young’s modulus of the absorbable plate decreases to 3.15 MPa,the repair material with a thickness of 0.6 mm was influenced by the gravitational forces of the orbital contents,resulting in a maximum total deformation of approximately 3.3 ***,when the absorbable plate was 1.2 mm thick,the overall maximum total deformation was around 0.4 *** half-year follow-up results of the clinical cases confirmed that the absorbable plate with a thickness of 1.2 mm had smaller maximum total deformation and better clinical ***:The biomechanical analysis observations in this study are largely consistent with the clinical *** use of double-layer absorbable plates in conjunction with 3D printing technology is recommended to support surgical treatment of infraorbital wall blowout fractures.

To effectively address energy challenges,it is crucial to explore efficient and stable bifunctional nonprecious metal *** this study,a Mo-doped nickeliron layered double hydroxide with flower-cluster architecture was successfully prepared by a one-step hydrothermal method,which demonstrated a good water splitting *** an appropriate amount of Mo doping,some lattice distortions in the material provided reactive sites for the adsorption and conversion of intermediates,thus optimising the charge distribution of the ***,the multidimensional void structures formed after doping had a larger specific surface area and accelerated the penetration of the electrolyte,which significantly improved the activity of the catalyst in alkaline *** 10 mA·cm^(-2),the hydrogen and oxygen evolution overpotentials of Mo-doped nickel-iron double hydroxides(Mo-NiFe LDH/NF-0.2)were 167 and 220 mV,respectively,with an excellent durability up to 24 *** the Mo-NiFe LDH/NF-0,2 catalyst was used as the cathode and anode of an electrolytic cell,the catalyst achieved a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)at an applied voltage of 1.643 *** study provides a novel approach for designing excellent bifunctional electrocatalysts containing nonprecious metals.
