OBJECtIVE:the interleukin(IL)-12 cytokine family is closely related to the development of t helper cells,which are responsible for autoimmune disease enhancement or ***-12 family members are generally heterodimers and share threeα-subunits(p35,p19,and p28)and twoβ-subunits(p40 and EBI3).However,aβ-sheet p40 homodimer has been shown to exist and antagonize IL-12 and IL-23 signaling ***,we assumed the existence of a p40-EBI3 heterodimer in nature and sought to investigate its role in immune ***:the presence of the p40-EBI3 heterodimer was confirmed by ELISA,immunoprecipitation,and western blotting.A p40-EBI3 vector and p40-EBI3-Fc protein were synthesized to confirm the immunological role of this protein in mice with collageninduced arthritis(CIA).the anti-inflammatory effects of p40-EBI3 were analyzed with regard to clinical,histological,and immune cell-regulating features in mice with ***:Clinical arthritis scores and the expression levels of proinflammatory cytokines(e.g.,IL-17,IL-1β,IL-6,and tNF-α)were significantly attenuated in p40-EBI3-overexpressing and p40-EBI3-Fc-treated mice with CIA compared to vehicle-treated mice with *** joint damage and vessel formation-related gene expression were also reduced by p40-EBI3 heterodimer *** vitro,the p40-EBI3-Fc protein significantly suppressed the differentiation of th17 cells and reciprocally induced CD4+CD25+Foxp3+(regulatory t)cells.p40-EBI3 also inhibited osteoclast formation in a concentrationdependent ***:In this study,p40-EBI3 ameliorated proinflammatory conditions both in vivo and in *** propose that p40-EBI3 is a novel anti-inflammatory cytokine involved in suppressing the immune response through the expansion of treg cells and suppression of th17 cells and osteoclastogenesis.

Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4(IRAK4)is a pivotal enzyme in the toll-like receptor(tLR)/MYD88 dependent signaling pathway,which is highly activated in rheumatoid arthritis tissues and activated B cell-like diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(ABC-DLBCL).Inflammatory responses followed by IRAK4 activation promote B-cell proliferation and aggressiveness of ***,proviral integration site for Moloney murine leukemia virus 1(PIM1)functions as an anti-apoptotic kinase in propagation of ABC-DLBCL with ibrutinib *** developed a dual IRAK4/PIM1 inhibitor KIC-0101 that potently suppresses the NF-κB pathway and proinflammatory cytokine induction in vitro and in *** rheumatoid arthritis mouse models,treatment with KIC-0101 significantly ameliorated cartilage damage and ***-0101 inhibited the nuclear translocation of NF-κB and activation of JAK/StAt pathway in *** addition,KIC-0101 exhibited an anti-tumor effect on ibrutinib-resistant cells by synergistic dual suppression of tLR/MYD88-mediated NF-κB pathway and PIM1 *** results suggest that KIC-0101 is a promising drug candidate for autoimmune diseases and ibrutinib-resistant B-cell lymphomas.

By a national point of view, Assuring actual data for Green-house Gas(GHGs) in the domestic construction sector is needed to establish and perform reducing plan of GHGs for effective corresponding the Climate Change Agreement. this study aims to assess GHGs emission of each household of apartments and to estimate annual GHGs emission by the new construction of apartment in Korea. We subject to major construction materials consumed in the construction of new apartments. the assessment of GHGs emission was executed with six apartment types in this study. the annual energy consumption by a household in Korea was about 20,153 Mcal as of 2003, and the energy consumption was expected to consistently increase. According to the statistic data of the construction sector, apartments occupy a high portion of 86.4% among the residential buildings, and it is expected to remain at a certain level every year due to the national development policy of the Korean government. the result shows that CO2 emission of an apartment house was analyzed to be 438.6 ㎏-CO2/㎡ on average. If the average number of new residential buildings constructed in Korea is assumed to be 300,000, the annual CO2 emitted from the construction of apartments can be estimated at about 9,650,016 t-CO2 .

the Dendrobium Medical Plants are Chinese traditional herbas, which have been used as adjuvant therapeutic agents for long time. Clinical experiments showed that they could increase the immune ability of human beings and delay tumor progression. But the active substance and the mechanism are not clear untill now. the purposes of this paper are to extract the polysaccharide (PSC) and to determine its antioxidant property.

360 video streaming services over the network are becoming popular. In particular, it is easy to experience 360 video through the already popular smartphone. However, due to the nature of 360 video, it is difficult to provide stable streaming service in general network environment because the size of data to send is larger than that of conventional video. Also, the real user's viewing area is very small compared to the sending amount. In this paper, we propose a system that can provide high quality 360 video streaming services to the users more efficiently in the cloud. In particular, we propose a streaming system focused on using a head mount display (HMD).

ADCS （automated data collection system） is the element of MDMS （meter data management system） and a module in charge of collecting the data from DCUs （data collection units） or meters in AMI （advanced metering infrastructure）-based interactive two-way communications infrastructure. In this study, ADCS＇s functions for K-AMI （Korean Advanced Metering Infrastructure） were analyzed and the logical design of ADCS which is suitable for the requirements was suggested. A massive data collection and management functions was defined as very important functions of ADCS to meet optimal data processing mechanism. ADCS was designed for support about the fuctions of data collection and transfer, large capacity data processing, interactive services, parallel processing, etc.. Also, ADCS has roles of protocols exchange and gateway for service support in addition to data collection in AMI environment.

Background： Fatigue is a common symptom both in diseases status and in healthy subjects. Various supplements and nutraceuticals for relieving of fatigue have been used. However, there are a few studies to evaluate the efficacy and the safety of the drug tbr fatigue alleviation, we conducted using URSA Complex to evaluate the efficacy on physical fatigue via score changes in the checklist individual strength （CIS）. Methods： the study was designed as a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, with subjects randomized to one of the two arms, receiving either placebo or URSA Complex administered as identical capsules. the primary efficacy endpoints of this clinical trials are the ratio of improving CIS scores 〈 76 points in patients at the end （4 weeks）. Secondary efficacy variables are as follows one is an improvement of fatigue and the other is an improvement of the liver enzyme. Results： the fatigue recovery rate in who had improved CIS scores of 〈 76 points were 70.0%, 50.9% in the therapy group and placebo group, respectively （P = 0.0l 9）. the fatigue recovery rate in CIS score was higher in URSA Complex therapy group than placebo group. the difference between therapy group and placebo group was statistically significant at 4 weeks later, but not 2 weeks. Conclusions： Our results provided that the URSA Complex was effective in alleviating physical fatigue. the adverse event frequency in the therapy groups was similar to that in the placebo group.

Genevestigator analysis has indicated heat shock induction of transcripts for NADPH-thioredoxin reduc-tase, type C （NtRC） in the light. Here we show overexpression of NtRC in Arabidopsis （NtRC°E） resulting in enhanced tolerance to heat shock, whereas NtRC knockout mutant plants （ntrcl） exhibit a temperature sensitive phenotype. to investigate the underlying mechanism of this phenotype, we analyzed the protein＇s biochemical properties and protein structure. NtRC assembles into homopolymeric structures of varying complexity with functions as a disulfide reductase, a foldase chaperone, and as a holdase chaperone. the multiple functions of NtRC are closely correlated with protein structure.. Complexes of higher molecular weight （HMW） showed stronger activity as a holdase chaperone, while low molecular weight （LMW） species exhibited weaker holdase chaperone activity but stronger disulfide reductase and fol-dase chaperone activities. Heat shock converted LMW proteins into HMW complexes. Mutations of the two active site Cys residues of NtRC into Ser （C217/454S-NtRC） led to a complete inactivation of its disulfide reductase and foldase chaperone functions, but conferred only a slight decrease in its holdase chaperone function. the overexpression of the mutated C217/454S-NtRC provided Arabidopsis with a similar degree of thermotolerance compared with that of NtRC°E plants. However, after prolonged incubation under heat shock, NtRC°E plants tolerated the stress to a higher degree than C217/454S-NtRC°E plants. the results suggest that the heat shock-mediated holdase chaperone function of NtRC is responsible for the increased thermotolerance of Arabidopsis and the activity is significantly supported by NADPH.
