Intermittent melena and refractory anemia due to jejunal cavernous lymphangioma:A case report

BACKGROUND Lymphangiomas in the gastrointestinal tract are extremely rare in *** a benign lesion,small intestine lymphangiomas often remain asymptomatic and pose challenges for definitive ***,lymphangiomas can give rise to complications such as abdominal pain,bleeding,volvulus,and ***,we report a case of jejunal cavernous lymphangioma that presented with intermittent melena and refractory anemia in a male *** SUMMARY A 66-year-old man presented with intermittent melena,fatigue and refractory anemia nine months *** and colonoscopy were performed many times and revealed no apparent *** management,including transfusion,hemostasis,gastric acid secretion inhibition and symptomatic treatment,was performed,but the lesions tended to recur shortly after ***,the patient underwent capsule endoscopy,which revealed a more than 10 cm lesion accompanied by active *** singleballoon enteroscopy and biopsy,a diagnosis of jejunal cavernous lymphangioma was confirmed,and the patient underwent surgical *** complications or recurrences were observed *** Jejunal cavernous lymphangioma should be considered a cause of obscure gastrointestinal *** endoscopy and single-balloon enteroscopy can facilitate *** resection is an effective management method.

Construction of Multi-level Space-filling Designs via Code Mappings

Space-filling designs are widely used in various fields because of their nice space-filling *** designs are one of space-filling designs,which desires the experimental points to scatter uniformly over the experimental *** practical need,the construction and their properties of nine-level uniform designs are discussed via two code mappings in this ***,the algorithm of constructing nine-level uniform designs is presented from an initial three-level design by the Type-I code mapping and tripling ***,the algorithm of constructing nine-level uniform designs is presented from a three-level base design by the Type-II code mapping and generalized orthogonal ***,relative properties are discussed based on the two code ***,some numerical examples are given out for supporting our theoretical results.

Accelerated Primal-Dual Projection Neurodynamic Approach With Time Scaling for Linear and Set Constrained Convex Optimization Problems

The Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach serves as an essential tool for addressing convex optimization problems with accelerated convergence *** previous studies in this field have primarily concentrated on unconstrained smooth con-vex optimization *** this paper,on the basis of primal-dual dynamical approach,Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach,projection operator and directional gradient,we present two accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches with time scaling to address convex optimization problems with smooth and nonsmooth objective functions subject to linear and set constraints,which consist of a second-order ODE(ordinary differential equation)or differential conclusion system for the primal variables and a first-order ODE for the dual *** satisfying specific conditions for time scaling,we demonstrate that the proposed approaches have a faster conver-gence *** only requires assuming convexity of the objective *** validate the effectiveness of our proposed two accel-erated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches through numerical experiments.

Viscoacoustic generalized screen propagator in constant-Q model

When seismic waves propagate through the geological formation, there is a significant loss of energy and a decrease in imaging resolution, because of the viscoacoustic properties of subsurface medium. This profoundly impacts seismic wavefield propagation, imaging and interpretation. To accurately image the true structure of subsurface medium, the consensus among geophysicists is to no longer treat subsurface medium as ideal homogeneous medium, but rather to incorporate the viscoacoustic properties of subsurface medium. Based on the generalized screen propagator using conventional acoustic wave equation(acoustic GSP), our developed method introduces viscoacoustic compensation strategy, and derives a one-way wave generalized screen propagator based on time-fractional viscoacoustic wave equation(viscoacoustic GSP). In numerical experiments, we conducted tests on two-dimensional multi-layer model and the Marmousi model. When comparing with the acoustic GSP using the acoustic data, we found that the imaging results of the viscoacoustic GSP using the viscoacoustic data showed a significant attenuation compensation effect, and achieved imaging results for both algorithms were essentially consistent. However, the imaging results of acoustic GSP using viscoacoustic data showed significant attenuation effects, especially for deep subsurface imaging. This indicates that we have proposed an effective method to compensate the attenuated seismic wavefield. Our application on a set of real seismic data demonstrated that the imaging performance of our proposed method in local areas surpassed that of the conventional acoustic GSP. This suggests that our proposed method holds practical value and can more accurately image real subsurface structures while enhancing imaging resolution compared with the conventional acoustic GSP. Betulinic acid protects against ovarian impairment by decreasing F-2 toxin-induced oxidative stress and inflammation associated with the downregulation of p38 expression in mice

F-2 toxin is an estrogenic mycotoxin that causes reproductive disorders in *** acid(BA)is a natural pentacyclic lupane-structure triterpenoid that has diverse pharmacological *** this study,the antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects of BA and its underlying mechanism are explored in F-2 toxin-triggered mouse ovarian *** found that BA alleviated the F-2 toxin-induced ovarian impairment by stimulating follicle growth,reducing inflammatory cell infiltration,repairing damaged mitochondria and endoplasmic ***,BA not only reversed F-2 toxin-induced reduction of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels in the serum,but also restrained the protein expression of the estrogen receptors a(ERa)and ERβ.Moreover,BA restored the balance of F-2 toxin-induced ovarian redox system ***,we found that 0.25 mg/kg BA played an anti-inflammatory role in the F-2 toxin-induced ovarian impairment by decreasing interleukin-1β(IL-1β).IL-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)mRNA expression,as well as inhibiting p38 protein *** data demonstrated that BA exerts its protective effect on F-2 toxin-induced ovarian oxidative impairment and inflammation by inhibiting p38 expression,which implies a natural product-based medicine to ameliorate F-2 toxin-caused female reproductive toxicity and provides a detoxifying method for food contaminated by mycotoxin.

The highly reversible insertion/extraction of large-radius K^+into electrode materials remains a tough goal,especially for con version-type ***,we design a current collector-integrated electrode(N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu) as an advanced anode for potassium-ion battery(PIBs).The conductive CoSe/CoSe_(2) heterojunction with rich Se vacancy defects,conductive sp^2 N-doped carbon layer,and the elastic copper foil matrix can greatly accelerate the electron transfer and enhance the structural ***,the well-designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu current collector-integrated electrode displays enhanced potassium storage performance with regard to a high capacity(325.1 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) after 200cycles),an exceptional rate capability(223.5 mAh·g^(-1) at2000 mA·g^(-1)),and an extraordinary long-term cycle stability(a capacity fading of only 0.019% per cycle over1200 cycles at 2000 mA·g^(-1)).Impressively,ex situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterizations prove that the elastic structure of copper foil is merged into the cleverly designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu heterostructure,which buffers the deformation of structure and volume and greatly promotes the cycle life during the potassium/depotassium process.

Bisphenol F epoxy resin(EP)is often used in terminal current lead insulation of superconducting equipment because of its good insulation performance,high mechanical strength,good toughness at cryogenic temperatures,and resistance to cold shock and heat ***,due to the wide temperature range of 80–300 K and the strong electric field,the EP-N_(2)interface is prone to surface flashover,resulting in terminal insulation *** improve the reliability of the current lead insulation,non-linear conductive EP/strontium titanate(SrTiO_(3))composites were prepared by modification with nano *** changes of dielectric,surface discharge,flashover,and trap distribution characteristics of composite materials were studied,and the mechanism of SrTiO_(3)on the surface flashover of composite materials was *** results show that the conductivity of the composite increases with the rise of SrTiO_(3)filling content,and the amplitude of improvement is greater under the strong electric field,showing a more significant *** composite has a lower trap energy level and a greater number of shallow traps compared to pure EP,which accelerates surface charge detrapping and reduces charge accumulation,effectively enhancing the discharge and surface flashover voltage of the composite.
