Lime-fly ash stabilized loess has a poor early strength,which results in a later traffic opening time when it is used as road-base *** of the significant early strength characteristics of sulphate aluminum cement(SAC),it is always added into the lime-fly ash mixtures to improve the early strength of stabilized ***,there is a scarcity of research on the mechanical behavior of lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess and there is a lack of quantitative evaluation of loess stabilized with binder *** research explored the effects of the amount of binder materials,curing time and porosity on the unconfined compressive strength(UCS),splitting tensile strength(STS),cohesion(c)and friction angle(φ)of lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess by a series of unconfined compressive tests(UCT)and splitting tensile tests(STT).The results indicate that an increase in curing time and a decrease in porosity lead to a continuous increase in the UCS and STS for lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized *** addition of SAC has a prominent enhancement in the early strength of lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized *** the curing time,porosity,and binder content were constant,the UCS and STS increase with increasing SAC content;For a stabilized loess with 30%binder content and 5%SAC content after 1 day of curing,the UCS was greater than 0.7 MPa,which meets the requirement of opening traffic,so lime-fly ash-SAC stabilized loess could be used as an excellent maintenance material for road-base;In accordance with the analysis of testing data,empirical relationships between the UCS and STS of lime-fly-SAC stabilized loess and key effect factors(binder materials content,curing time and porosity)were developed,which can provide references for reasonably selecting the amount of binder materials,compaction degree and curing period to meet the required strength of practical ***,based on the Mohr-Coulomb theory and the above empirical relationships,a simpler method f

We study the relation between Type Ia Supernovae （SNe Ia） and properties of their host galaxies using a large sample with low redshift. By examining the Hubble residuals of the entire sample from the best-fit cosmology, we show that SNe Ia in passive hosts are brighter than those in star-forming hosts after light curve correction at the 2. 1σ confidence level. We find that SNe Ia in high luminosity hosts are brighter after light-curve correction at the 〉 3σ confidence level. We also find that SNe Ia in large galaxies are brighter after light-curve correction at the ≥2σ confidence level. We demonstrate that the residuals depend linearly on host luminosity at a confidence of 4or or host size at a confidence of 3.3σ.

Neuronal autophagy is essential for neuronal survival and the maintenance of neuronal homeostasis. Increasing evidence has implicated autophagic dysfunction in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer＇s disease （AD）. The mechanisms underlying autophagic failure in AD involve several steps, from autophagosome formation to degradation. The effect of modulating autophagy is context-dependent. Stimulation of autophagy is not always beneficial. During the implementation of therapies that modulate autophagy, the nature of the autophagic defect, the timing of intervention, and the optimal level and duration of modulation should be fully considered.

The influences of the modification of turbulent coherent structures on temperature field and heat transfer in turbulent channel flow are studied using large eddy simulation(LES) of compressible turbulent channel flows with spanwise wall oscillation(SWO).The reliability of the LES on such problems is proved by the comparisons of the drag reduction data with those of other *** high consistency of coherent velocity structures and temperature structures is found based on the analyses of the turbulent flow *** the coherent velocity structures are suppressed,the transportations of momentum and heat are reduced simultaneously,demonstrating the same *** shows that the turbulent coherent structures have the same effects on the transportations of momentum and *** averaged wall heat flux can be reduced with appropriate oscillating parameters.

AIM:To establish the more feasible and sensitive assessment approach to the detection of adefovir (ADV) resistance-associated hepatitis B virus (HBV) ***: Based on the characteristics of rtA181V/T and rtN236T mutations, a new approach based on real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was established for the detection of ADV-resistant HBV quasispecies, total HBV DNA, rtA181 and rtN236 mutations in blood samples from 32 chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients with unsatisfactory curative effect on ADV and compared with routine HBV DNA ***: Both the sensitivity and specificity of this new detection approach to ADV-resistant HBV quasispecies were 100%, which were much higher than those of direct HBV DNA sequencing. The approach was able to detect 0.1% of mutated strains in a total plasmid population. Among the 32 clinical patients, single rtA181 and rtN236T mutation and double rtA181T and rtN236T mutations were detected in 20 and 8, respectively, while ADV-resistant mutations in 6 (including, rtA181V/T mutation alone in 5 patients) and no associated mutations in ***: This new approach is more feasible and efficient to detect ADV-resistant mutants of HBV and ADV-resistant mutations before and during ADV treatment with a specificity of 100% and a sensitivity of 100%.

Programmed cell death(PCD)plays an important role in plant growth and development as well as in stress *** male gametophyte development,it has been proposed that PCD may act as a cellular surveillance mechanism to ensure successful progression of male gametogenesis,and this suicide protective machinery is repressed under favorable growth ***,the regulatory mechanism of male gametophyte-specific PCD remains ***,we report the use of a TdT-mediated dUTP nick-end labelingbased strategy for genetic screening of Arabidopsis mutants that present PCD phenotype during male gametophyte *** using this approach,we identified 12 mutants,designated as pcd in male gametogenesis(pig).pig mutants are defective at various stages of male gametophyte development,among which nine pig mutants show a microspore-specific PCD phenotype occurring mainly around pollen mitosis I or the bicellular *** PIG1 gene was identified by map-based cloning,and was found to be identical to ATAXIA TELANGIECTASIA MUTATED(ATM),a highly conserved gene in eukaryotes and a key regulator of the DNA damage *** results suggest that PCD may act as a general mechanism to safeguard the entire process of male gametophyte development.

Calculating the semantic similarity of two sentences is an extremely challenging *** propose a solution based on convolutional neural networks(CNN)using semantic and syntactic features of *** similarity score between two sentences is computed as ***,given a sentence,two matrices are constructed accordingly,which are called the syntax model input matrix and the semantic model input matrix;one records some syntax features,and the other records some semantic *** experimenting with different arrangements of representing the syntactic and semantic features of the sentences in the matrices,we adopt the most effective way of constructing the ***,these two matrices are given to two neural networks,which are called the sentence model and the semantic model,*** convolution process of the neural networks of the two models is carried out in multiple *** outputs of the two models are combined as a vector,which is the representation of the ***,given the representation vectors of two sentences,the similarity score of these representations is computed by a layer in the *** results show that our algorithm(SSCNN)surpasses the performance MPCPP,which noticeably the best recent work of using CNN for sentence similarity *** with MPCNN,the convolution computation in SSCNN is considerably *** on the results of this work,we suggest that by further utilization of semantic and syntactic features,the performance of sentence similarity measurements has considerable potentials to be improved in the future.

The implementation of scalable quantum networks requires photons at the telecom band and long-lived spin *** single Er^(3+) in solid-state hosts is an important candidate that fulfills these critical requirements ***,to entangle distant Er^(3+) ions through photonic connections,the emission frequency of individual Er^(3+) in solid-state matrix must be the same,which is challenging because the emission frequency of Er^(3+) depends on its local ***,we propose and experimentally demonstrate the Stark tuning of the emission frequency of a single Er^(3+) in a Y_(2)SiO_(5) crystal by employing electrodes interfaced with a silicon photonic crystal *** obtain a Stark shift of 182.9±0.8 MHz,which is approximately 27 times of the optical emission linewidth,demonstrating promising applications in tuning the emission frequency of independent Er^(3+) into the same spectral *** results provide a useful solution for construction of scalable quantum networks based on single Er^(3+) and a universal tool for tuning emission of individual rare-earth ions.

A spatial resolution effect of remote sensing bathymetry is an important scientific problem. The in situ measured water depth data and images of Dongdao Island are used to study the effect of water depth inversion from different spatial resolution remote sensing images. The research experiments are divided into five groups including Quick Bird and World View-2 remote sensing images with their original spatial resolution（2.4/2.0 m）and four kinds of reducing spatial resolution（4, 8, 16 and 32 m）, and the water depth control and checking points are set up to carry out remote sensing water depth inversion. The experiment results indicate that the accuracy of the water depth remote sensing inversion increases first as the spatial resolution decreases from 2.4/2.0 to 4, 8 and16 m. And then the accuracy decreases along with the decreasing spatial resolution. When the spatial resolution of the image is 16 m, the inversion error is minimum. In this case, when the spatial resolution of the remote sensing image is 16 m, the mean relative errors（MRE） of Quick Bird and World View-2 bathymetry are 21.2% and 13.1%,compared with the maximum error are decreased by 14.7% and 2.9% respectively; the mean absolute errors（MAE） are 2.0 and 1.4 m, compared with the maximum are decreased by 1.0 and 0.5 m respectively. The results provide an important reference for the selection of remote sensing data in the study and application of the remote sensing bathymetry.
