The seasonal occurrence and among-plant and within-plant spatial distribution of the multivoltine leafminer Ophiomyia maura Meigen （Diptera： Agromyzidae） on the herbaceous plant Aster ageratoides Turcz. subsp, ovatus （Asteraceae） were investigated in the field. O. maura has at least four generations a year and mines per leaf fluctuate with a mean of 0.007 throughout the occurrence period. Seasonal occurrence is associated with abundance of new host leaves, suggesting O. maura females prefer to oviposit in newly emerged leaves. The among-plant distribution of O. maura is described by a Poisson distribution early in the season but tends to be weakly clumped later. The within-plant vertical distribution of larval mines increased from middle to upper leaves during plant development, because mined leaves in the middle position early in the season move downward with the emergence of new leaves, shifting mined leaves from the position where O. maura oviposits eggs. Later in the season, mined leaves remain where they are deposited because few new leaves emerge. The spatial distribution of O. maura, resource utilization patterns, and host plant characteristics are discussed.

We discuss cluster phenomena in light nuclei. As examples of typical cluster structures, we first review cluster structures of 12C, 16O, and 20Ne, and then introduce some topics of cluster phenomena in light neutron-rich nuclei such as Be and C isotopes. A particular attention is paid on coexistence of cluster and shell-model aspects.

We report our recent work on a hadronic molecule state of the KKN system with I =1/2 and jR = 1/2＋. We assume that the A（1405） resonance and the scalar mesons, f0（980）, ao（980）, are reproduced as quasi-bound states of KN and KK, respectively. Performing non-relativistic three-body calculations with a variational method for this system, we find a quasibound state of the KIlN system around 1910 MeV below the three-body breakup threshold. This state corresponds to a new baryon resonance of N＊ with JP ： 1/2＋. We find also that this resonance has the cluster structure of the two-body bound states keeping their properties as in the isolated two-particle systems. We also briefly discuss another hadronic molecular state composed by two K and one N, which corresponds to a resonance.

Background: Increasing the number of DC (Death Conference) experiences, nurses are expected to improve the quality of nurses’ terminal care and developing nursing minds. Therefore, there is a need for further evidence on the impact of repeated DC experiences on nurses’ terminal care. Aim: This study aims to clarify the impact of repeated DC experiences on nurses’ terminal care and nursing in DC using the prepared Death Conference Nursing Self-Assessment Sheet. Method: The study is approved by the Ethics Review Board of St. Mary’s College, Chukyo Gakuin University, and the hospital where the survey was conducted. This study was an observational and cross-sectional study using an anonymous, self-completed questionnaire composed of the newly created Death Conference Nursing Self-Assessment Sheet. Its evaluation items in the Death Conference Nursing Self-Assessment sheet consist of four categories (Cooperation, Future direction of nursing, Specific measures for nursing, and Feeling of the nurse) and 14 questions. The questionnaires were conducted on 144 nurses in the ER, ICU, and Palliative Care Ward (Hospice Ward) in a general hospital in Japan. For analysis, JMP ver.14.2 was used to perform Fisher’s exact test, Wilcoxon/Mann Whitney test, univariate, and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results: Thirty-four participants (23.6%) who answered the number of DC experiences were included in the final analysis. Seventeen nurses had DC experiences, and 17 had no experience. There were significant differences in all of the above categories impacting nurses’ terminal care and nursing in DC. Conclusion: Repeated DC affected nurses’ terminal care and nursing in DC using the Death Conference Nursing Self-Assessment Sheet. Results: One hundred thirty-nine participants (97%) were included in the final analysis. Forty-three nurses had DC experiences, and 96 had no experience. The median number (IQR;interquartile range) of DC experiences was 5.5 (2 - 22.5). There were significant differences in five of the above categories;however, there was no significant association in the five questions of the nurse’s stress on response to patients and patients’ family and specific measures for nursing regarding postmortem treatment for patients between DC experiences and Nurses’ terminal care. Relationship among Sleep Quality Physical Health Conditions and Lifestyle Habits among Elementary School Students

The purpose of this research was to reveal the relationship among students’ sleep quality, body temperature and lifestyle habits, growth and their physical strength. Subjects were 226 elementary school students from first grade to sixth grade, in four elementary schools at the Chugoku and Shikoku areas in Japan. The study period was from October 2014 to December 2015. Evaluation items used were the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Japanese version), body temperature, lifestyle habits, and national physical fitness test. Relationships were analyzed using Pearson’s chi square test, Fisher’s exact test, residual analysis, φ-coefficient, odds ratio and 95% confidence interval, and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient using SPSS 20 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). The level of statistical significance was set at 0.05. The number of students with good sleep quality who showed less than six-point score at the PSQI was 218 (96.5%), and with poor sleep quality were eight students (3.5%). Especially, “sometimes do not eat breakfast” and “had difficulty sleeping” were independent risk factors for negative arousal. In the lifestyle habits, it was observed significantly that students who had a good sleep ate breakfast every morning. The significant positive correlation was between sleep quality and the time spent watching television, the age and the time using the internet. The significant negative correlation was observed between length of sleep, time spent watching television, using internet and playing games, body temperature and age. The students with temperature of less than 36°C were 35 (15.5%). Those students did not eat breakfast every morning, or ate school lunch. This study revealed that sleep condition and temperature of elementary school students were related to eating breakfast and using media time. Objective To investigate the effects of isoflavone on body weight, fat mass, and gene expression in relation to lipid metabolism. Methods Thirty-six female SD rats were ovariectomized or sham-operated and fed on a high-fat diet. Two months later, abdominal incision was made, blood was collected to separate serum, and the liver and adipose tissue were immediately collected and weighed. Some portions of these tissues were frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80℃. Results Ovariectomy （OVX） with a high-fat diet could induce obesity in rats, while treatment with isoflavone significantly inhibited the increase in body weight and fat mass in abdomen. Serum total cholesterol and leptin were significantly decreased in isoflavone group, compared with the OVX group. The mRNA expression of liver fatty acid synthase （FAS） in the OVX group was significantly higher than that in sham-operated group, while this difference was not observed in the isoflavone group. The mRNA expression of liver hormone-sensitive lipase （HSL） in the OVX rats tended to be lower than that in the sham-operated rats. Furthermore, a large amount of isoflavone maintained the mRNA expression at a sham level. Conclusion Isoflavone may prevent obesity induced by ovariectomy with a high-fat diet, in part by modulating gene expression related to lipid metabolism.

We present a brief review of the most important efforts aimed at simulating single-walled carbon nanotube(SWNT)nucleation and growth processes using molecular dynamics(MD)techniques reported in the *** simulations allow the spatio-temporal movement of atoms during nonequilibrium growth to be ***,it is hoped that a successful MD simulation of the entire SWNT formation process will assist in the design of chirality-specic SWNT synthesis *** give special consideration to the role of the metal catalyst particles assumed in standard theories of SWNT formation,and describe the actual metal behavior observed in the reported MD simulations,including our own recent quantum chemical MD *** is concluded that the use of a quantum potential is essential for a qualitatively correct description of the catalytic behavior of the metal cluster,and that carbide formation does not seem to be a necessary requirement for nucleation and growth of SWNTs according to our most recent quantum chemical MD simulations.

AIM:To study the safety and effectiveness of propofol sedation for outpatient ***:Propofol was given by bolus injection with an age-adjusted standard protocol consisting of 60 mg for patients < 70 years old,40 mg for patients age 70-89 years,and 20 mg for those ≥ 90 years,and additional injections of 20 mg propofol were given up to a maximum of 200 *** principal parameters were the occurrence of adverse events within 24 h after colonoscopy and overall satisfaction for this *** parameters included successful procedure,respiratory depression,and other ***:Consecutive patients were entered prospectively and all 2101 entered successfully completed outpatient *** mean dose of propofol used was 96.4 mg(range 40-200 mg).Younger patients required higher doses of propofol than older patients(20-40 years vs ≥ 61 years:115.3 ± 32 mg vs 89.7 ± 21 mg,P < 0.001).Transient supplemental oxygen supply was needed by five patients(0.2%);no other complications *** questionnaires were completed by 1820(87%) of 2101 patients and most rated their overall satisfaction as excellent(80%) or good(17%).The majority(65%) of patients drove home or to their office after their ***(99%) were willing to repeat the same *** incidents occurred within 24 h after ***:Propofol sedation using a dose < 200 mg proved both safe and practical for outpatient colonoscopy.
