Intussusception Induced by Transverse Colon Lipoma in a Young Male PatientmOne Case Report

Colonic lipoma is an uncommon benign non-epithelial tumor of the gastrointestinal tract. It typically occurs in the ascending colon and among old female patients. Most cases are asymptomatic and do not require any special treatment. However, we encountered a young male patient with a symptomatic lipoma located in the transverse colon that induced a transcolocolonic intussusception. He presented with such symptoms as diarrhea, tenesmus, abdominal pain, and weight loss. Colonoscopy revealed a spherical polypoid lesion with partial congestion and ulceration on its surface, and the related biopsy and inflammatory cell infiltration. revealed spindle cell hyperplasia Reduction of the intussusception was not attempted, and transverse hemicolectomy was conducted. Although several novel techniques have been reported for the diagnosis and treatment of colonic lipoma, for our case patient, an exact diagnosis was made postoperatively via histological examina- tion and laparotomy was performed.

Simulation and analysis of the long-term impacts of 1.5°C global climate pledges on China's land systems

Global warming has become a shared issue for humanity. At the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2021, participating countries reached climate pledges aimed at making more proactive contributions to limit the global average temperature rise within 1.5°C by 2100. Land system changes are significant responses of land to climate change. As one of the contracting parties, China has proposed climate targets such as carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals in recent years to support the global pledges of limiting global warming to1.5°C, which will profoundly impact China's future land system changes. This study focuses on China as the study area,produces data with a thematic resolution of 27 types of land systems, integrates the output of various land types by the Global Change Assessment Model(GCAM) into four categories of land service demand, and combines these with the improved CLUMondo model to simulate China's land system changes in 2100 under a 1.5°C global warming scenario and a reference scenario without updated emission reduction measures. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) The method of integrating the GCAM and improved CLUMondo model demonstrates high validation accuracy in simulating China's land system changes, effectively predicting the changes.(2) Under the 1.5°C global warming scenario, the quality of ecosystems related to mountains, water, forests, farmland, lakes, and grasslands in China improved. The areas of shrubland, wetland, and forest are projected to increase by 185%, 79%, and 33%, respectively, with low-density shrubland, high-density wetland, and high-density forest showing the most significant increases.(3) Compared with the reference scenario, the 1.5°C climate pledges drive greater changes in future land systems, with wetland and forest area growth levels exceeding those of the reference scenario by 20% and 10%, respectively. Inhibiting SHP2 reduces glycolysis, promotes microglial M1 polarization, and alleviates secondary inflammation following spinal cord injury in a mouse model

Reducing the secondary inflammatory response, which is partly mediated by microglia, is a key focus in the treatment of spinal cord injury. Src homology 2-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase 2(SHP2), encoded by PTPN11, is widely expressed in the human body and plays a role in inflammation through various mechanisms. Therefore, SHP2 is considered a potential target for the treatment of inflammation-related diseases. However, its role in secondary inflammation after spinal cord injury remains unclear. In this study, SHP2 was found to be abundantly expressed in microglia at the site of spinal cord injury. Inhibition of SHP2 expression using siRNA and SHP2 inhibitors attenuated the microglial inflammatory response in an in vitro lipopolysaccharide-induced model of inflammation. Notably, after treatment with SHP2 inhibitors, mice with spinal cord injury exhibited significantly improved hind limb locomotor function and reduced residual urine volume in the bladder. Subsequent in vitro experiments showed that, in microglia stimulated with lipopolysaccharide, inhibiting SHP2 expression promoted M2 polarization and inhibited M1 polarization. Finally, a co-culture experiment was conducted to assess the effect of microglia treated with SHP2 inhibitors on neuronal cells. The results demonstrated that inflammatory factors produced by microglia promoted neuronal apoptosis, while inhibiting SHP2 expression mitigated these effects. Collectively, our findings suggest that SHP2 enhances secondary inflammation and neuronal damage subsequent to spinal cord injury by modulating microglial phenotype. Therefore, inhibiting SHP2 alleviates the inflammatory response in mice with spinal cord injury and promotes functional recovery postinjury.

Ovarian endometrioma（OE）, also known as “chocolate cysts,” is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility. However, the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown, posing challenges for diagnosis and treatment. Here, we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell populations. We identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with OE. Notably, the activation of IGFBP5+macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties, NK cell exhaustion, and aberrant proliferation of IQCG+and KLF2+epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of OE. Collectively, our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Multivariate synergy for heightening ionic HOF robustness and proton conductivity

Multicomponent crystalline materials construct more complex and diversified structures with different combinations and modes,which expands the material structure space and application *** this work,we have successfully synthesized two twocomponent ionic hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks （iHOF-32 and iHOF-33） and a three-component iHOF （iHOF-34）.Guanidine hydrochloride which is rich in N and H and has a short chain length strengthens the hydrogen bonding network of iHOF,thereby aiding in the efficient migration of *** rigid architecture of 1,1'-diamino-4,4'-bipyridine diiodide furnishes additional scaffolding for the iHOFs and enhances its robustness under harsh ***-34 accomplishes the combination of the ultra-high proton conductivity of iHOF-32 and the robustness of iHOF-33 by the synergistic interaction among the three components of *** addition,iHOF-34 was fabricated as a composite membrane with a peak proton conductivity of 1.55×10-1S cm-1,which is 3.8 times higher than that of recast Nafion,and has extensive potential in fuel *** self-assembly strategy of multicomponent HOFs opens up new avenues for constructing diverse structures while promising new opportunities for applications in the fields of proton conduction and energy storage.

Three-dimensional fracture of UO2 ceramic pellets by phase field modeling

目的探讨单侧双通道脊柱内镜技术(UBE)与传统后路腰椎椎间融合术(PLIF)治疗腰椎退行性疾病的临床疗效。方法选取2018年8月-2021年8月该院收治的腰椎退行性疾病患者80例,根据不同手术方式将患者分为研究组(n=30)和对照组(n=50),研究组行UBE,对照组行传统PLIF,比较两组患者手术相关指标、疼痛视觉模拟评分法(VAS)、日本骨科学会(JOA)评分、血清炎症因子水平及术后并发症发生情况。结果研究组术中出血量和术后引流量均少于对照组(P0.05)。结论UBE治疗腰椎退行性疾病临床效果较好,可有效改善手术相关指标,降低炎症因子水平,减轻患者术后疼痛,且安全性好。

目的:唾液酸广泛存在于多种生物组织中,有50多种存在形式,其中,N-乙酰神经氨酸(Neu5Ac)和N-羟乙酰神经氨酸(Neu5Gc)是最主要的2种存在形式。唾液酸具有抗炎、抗病毒和抗肿瘤等多种生物活性,并能有效促进婴儿的认知发育、增强学习和记忆能力。目前中国食物成分表中无唾液酸含量数据,本研究旨在总结和分析各类食物中唾液酸分布及含量,并推测每日膳食中可能的唾液酸摄入量。方法:在PubMed、Embase、Web of Science、中国知网、万方数据库、维普检索自建库至2022年6月国内外公开发表的相关研究文献。纳入测定食物中唾液酸分布与含量的定性与定量研究,包括一手研究数据、综述、系统综述等非一手研究数据,语言限定为中英文、意大利语;排除与主题无关、重复、数据不完整、无法获得全文的文章。结果:共检索出文献11187篇,本文共纳入35篇文献作为本综述的主要证据,其中,奶及奶制品、动物性食物、蔬菜类、水果类、谷薯类、其他食物文献各15、9、3、2、4、4篇。研究显示,燕窝中唾液酸含量最高,可高达116.2 mg/g。其次是动物性食物、奶及奶制品。动物性食物中唾液酸含量在0~4574.298μg/g、奶及奶制品中唾液酸含量在28~1596 mg/L。谷类、蔬菜类、水果类食物中含有微量或不含唾液酸,油、薯类中不含唾液酸。总结:动物性食物、奶及奶制品含有唾液酸,大豆及坚果类、蔬菜类、水果类、谷类中含有微量或不含唾液酸。
