Viscous heating has a substantial influence on the extrusion forming process and product quality of powder *** study selected the MUZL420 ring die pellet mill as the research object,from which a 3D flow physical model was *** numerical simulation of 3D nonisothermal flow in the extrusion pelletizing process of granulated alfalfa was performed with *** distribution laws of pressure,velocity,shear rate,viscosity,viscous heating and temperature in the flow field were revealed to thoroughly investigate the pelletizing process and provide a reference for structural optimization and process *** results showed that two extrusion zones in the pelleting chamber were symmetrical with respect to the center,and the significant pressure gradient along the rotating direction of the ring die and the roller caused the material to flow back in the opposite *** were larger velocity gradients,shear rates and viscous heating levels in the deformation and compaction zone,the negative pressure zone behind the extrusion zone and the die *** distribution of viscosity was opposite to that of the shear *** temperature increase area caused by viscous heating gradually expanded from the material inlet to the bottom of the extrusion chamber along the Z-axis direction,and the temperature increased *** extrusion force and the forming temperature in the extrusion forming zone were captured in the numerical *** extrusion forming density was calculated with the regression prediction model established through the simulation experiment of pelletizing with a ring *** a comparison with the results of mean alfalfa pellet density from the ring die pellet mill experiment,the relative error was less than 5%,which indicated that the numerical simulation method was reliable.

A new near-infrared fluorescent dye, 9-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N-methylamino-6-carbethoxy-5H-benzo[a]phenoxazin-5-one 1, was prepared from the reaction of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N-methyl-4-nitrosoaniline hydrochloride and ethyl 1,3-dihydroxynaphthoate. Five more fluorescent compounds were synthesized by the reaction of the resulting dye 1 with appropriate amino acid or carboxylic acids.

Trans-2-styrylbenzoxazole (I) was included by host compound 1,1,6,6-tetraphenylhexa-2,4-diyn-1,6-diol (II) anti the inclusion ratio was 1:1. Syn-head-to-tail dimer (IV) of I was obtained by irradiating the inclusion complex (III) with 400W High Pressure Mercury Lamp (HPML). The possible mechanism of the reaction was also discussed.

Aim： To investigate the localization and quantity of androgen receptor （AR） in the salivary glands of rats with further analysis on the effect of castration. Methods： Sixty male Wistar rats, aged 30-60 days, were randomly divided into three groups （castrated, sham-operated and normal controls） with 20 rats in each group. The rats in the castrated group were castrated and the submaxillary glands were removed after 1 week. The salivary glands of the rats in the sham-operated and the normal control groups were also removed. Parts of the salivary glands were fixed for immuohistochemistry and in situ hybridization assays. Other parts were used for Western blot. Results： AR immunoreactivity in the three groups was localized in the glandular epithelial cells of the serous acinus and the glandular duct of the salivary gland, mainly in the nuclei. AR mRNA hybridization signals in the salivary glands of the castrated group were mainly distributed in the epithelial cells of the convoluted and secretary ducts; AR mRNA in the sham-operated and the normal control groups were found in the epithelial cells of the convoluted, the secretary and the excretory ducts. The quantity of AR in the salivary glands was decreased significantly in the castrated rats compared with the sham-operated and the normal controls. Moreover, epidermal growth factor （EGF） secreted by the salivary glands was also decreased in the castrated rats. Conclusion： Castration appears to affect the production of AR in the salivary gland and the distribution of the AR mRNA and could further affect the function of the salivary gland. The changes of AR and the distribution of AR mRNA may play an important role in the interactions between the testes and the salivary gland. （Asian J Androl 2005 Sep; 7： 295-301）

AIM: To investigate the expression and significance of G3BP and RhoC proteins in esophageal squamous carcinoma (ESC). METHODS: The expression of G3BP and Rhoc proteins in 80 cases of ESC was detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationship was studied between the expression of the two proteins and tumor size, differentiation degree, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and prognosis of ESC. RESULTS: The positive expression rate of G3BP in ESC was 71.25%; and the rate in the lymph node metastasis group was significantly higher than that in the non- lymph node metastasis group (Z = -2.283, P = 0.022), but no relations were found between G3BP expression and tumor size, differentiation degree and TNM stage (P > 0.05). The group with G3BP positive expression had shorter survival time than the group with G3BP negative expression (P = 0.000). The positive expression rate of RhoC in ESC was 66.25%; and the rate in the lymph node metastasis group was significantly higher than that in the non-lymph node metastasis group (Z = -2.115, P 0.05). The RhoC positive expression group had a shorter survival time than the RhoC negative expression group (P < 0.001. The expression of G3BP protein correlated positively with the expression of RhoC in ESC tissues (rs = 0.656, P < 0.001). CONCLUSION: The expression of G3BP and RhoC protein is closely related to the lymph node metastasis and survival in ESC patients. G3BP and RhoC proteins can be considered as predictors of prognosis in ESC patients.

Screening and identification of cellulose-degradation strain M1 and its characteristics of cellulase

In this paper, in order to get the target microbe which has high cellulose bio-degradation ability, we collected soil samples from environment rich in cellulose. Carboxymethyl cellulose sodium gel plate and filter paper plate were used for microbe screening, and finally we got a strain named MI which has the highest cellulase producing ability, and it has been identified as Penicilium oxalicum by morphological and molecular biological identification. We have studied cellulose degradation ability of this strain under different conditions such as pH value, temperature and inoculating time. The results showed that CMCase which belongs to acid enzyme, could achieve its maximum enzyme activity 489.96 U/ml when the optimal pH value was 4. The FPAase could achieve its maximum enzyme activity 1,595.45 U/ml when the optimal pH value was 4, too. The optimal ferment temperature of CMCase is 50℃ when achieved the maximum of enzyme activity at the second day, whereas the FPAase could reach its tip top on the third day, So the optimal ferment temperature of FPAase is also 50℃.
