The planar-chiral ligands have been widely applied as a class of unique and significant ligands in asymmetric *** them,chiral[2.2]paracycyclophane has emerged as a privileged type of planar-chiral framework and has been utilized as an important toolbox due to their structural ***,we design and synthesize[2.2]paracyclophane-derived oxazole-pyrimidine ligands(abberviated as PYMCOX).These N,N-ligands with stable properties,rigid structure and large steric hindrance performed successfully in nickel-catalyzed asymmetric 1,2-reduction ofα,β-unsaturated ketones,affording the chiral allylic alcohols with up to 99%yield and 99%***,this reduction reaction could be conducted on gram-scale without loss of activity and enantioselectivity,and the chiral ligand could be conveniently recovered with high yield.

An efficient asymmetric Friedel-Crafts reaction has been developed for the synthesis of optically active quaternaryα‐aminophosphonates with up to98%*** synthesis involves the reaction of cyclicα‐ketiminophosphonates with indoles using an H8‐BINOL‐derived chiral phosphoric acid(CPA)catalyst that bears electron‐withdrawing3,5‐ditrifluoromethylphenyl substituents on its3‐and3′‐*** Friedel-Crafts reaction of cyclicα‐ketiminophosphonates was also successful with pyrrole.

Partially biobased polysilylethers(PSEs)are synthesized via dehydrocoupling polymerization catalyzed by an anionic iridium *** types(AB type or AA and BB type)of monomers are *** acid(LA)and succinic acid(SA)have been ranked within the top 10 chemicals derived from *** type monomers(diols)derived from LA and SA have been applied to the synthesis of *** polymerization reactions employ an air-stable anionic iridium complex bearing a functional bipyridonate ligand as *** to high yields of polymers with number-average molecular weights(Mn)up to 4.38×104 were obtained.A possible catalytic cycle via an Ir-H species is *** on the results of kinetic experiments,apparent activation energy of polymerization in the tempe rature range of 0-10℃is about 38.6 kJ/*** PSEs synthesized from AA and BB type monomers possess good thermal stability(T5=418℃to 437℃)and low glass-transition temperature(Tg=49.6℃).

An efficient bifunctional squaramide‐catalyzed Michael addition/cyclization of azadienes with malononitrile has been successfully developed, providing a facile access to chiral benzofuran‐fused 1,4‐dihydropyridines with excellent yields, wide substrate scope and up to 99% ee. Additionally, this formal [4+2] cycloaddition can be performed in gram scale without noticeable loss of yield and enantioselectivity.
