We present seeing measurements of the Guoshoujing Telescope （formerly named the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope- LAMOST） site at Xinglong station during the period from 2007 March 12 to April 25. The measurements were carried out with the Differential Image Motion Monitor （DIMM）, and a total of 9259 data sets was obtained. The median seeing was measured to be 1.1″, with 25% being better than 0.8″and 75% better than 1.5″. The experiment shows that the DIMM exposure time has significant effects on the results of seeing measurements. An SBIG Polaris seeing monitor, which had been planned to be installed on the LAMOST site for long-term monitoring, was also employed during the DIMM observations. The results show that the SBIG seeing monitor is easily affected by gusty wind, resulting in larger seeing values. Considering the previous seeing measurements at Xinglong station over the last 15 yr, we conclude that an acceptable seeing condition at Xinglong station is around 1″-2″.

The Large Optical/infrared Telescope(LOT)is a ground-based 12 m diameter telescope which is proposed to be built in western *** site selection for LOT in China began in 2016,and Ali was listed as one of the three candidate *** studies and local surveys have been carried out for more than 15 years in western China,and the results show that Ali is a promising site with comprehensive quality in terms of atmospheric and supporting *** overview of the site testing campaign at the Ali site from 2016 to 2019 is *** the two years of data collection,the overall median seeing value is found to be 1.17 arcsec,the observable nights are 81.71%and the good observable nights are 71.76%.The weather conditions as follows,the median night temperature value is-5.18℃,the median night relative humidity value is 41.25%,the median night atmospheric pressure value is 540.92 hPa,the median night wind speed value is 7.41 m s-1 and the mainly wind direction is southwestern(SW).The median night sky background value is 22.07 *** also discuss the wind speed at different locations on-site,the possibility of light pollution and the effect of wind speed on differential image motion monitor(DIMM)seeing measurements.

Metal coordination compounds(MCCs)are gaining popularity for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)owing to their tuneable structure,multiple reaction sites,low cost and unique ***,they are generally subjected to intrinsic features of the sluggish ionic diffusion coefficient,low electronic conductivity and slow ***,a new MCC material of cobalt-1,3,5-trioxy-2,4,6-triamino-benzo(Co-TB)coordination compound was synthesized and homogenously grown on the surface of graphene nanosheets(GNS),forming a Co-TB@GNS composite with enhanced electronic conductivity and flexible *** from the overall enhanced conductivity,high surface area and abundant activated K-storage sites,Co-TB@GNS electrodes have exhibited superior cycling performance with high reversible capacities(312 mAh·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(-1),224 mAh·g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1))and better rate performances compared with the pure Co-TB compound when served as PIB's ***,multiple in-situ measurement techniques have jointly confirmed that the organic functional groups(C=O,C=N and C=C of benzene rings)and Co^(2+)in Co-TB are the main reversible K-storage sites,including in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X-ray diffraction(XRD),and partial capacity contribution is originated from GNS by the apparent K-storage behavior in the in-situ XRD pattern,proving the possibility of K-storage for metal-organic materials.

This paper mainly focuses on the development of a learning-based controller for a class of uncertain mechanical systems modeled by the Euler-Lagrange *** considered system can depict the behavior of a large class of engineering systems,such as vehicular systems,robot manipulators and *** these systems are often characterized by highly nonlinear characteristics,heavy modeling uncertainties and unknown perturbations,therefore,accurate-model-based nonlinear control approaches become *** by the challenge,a reinforcement learning(RL)adaptive control methodology based on the actor-critic framework is investigated to compensate the uncertain mechanical *** approximation inaccuracies caused by RL and the exogenous unknown disturbances are circumvented via a continuous robust integral of the sign of the error(RISE)control *** from a classical RISE control law,a tanh(·)function is utilized instead of a sign(·)function to acquire a more smooth control *** developed controller requires very little prior knowledge of the dynamic model,is robust to unknown dynamics and exogenous disturbances,and can achieve asymptotic output ***,co-simulations through ADAMS and MATLAB/Simulink on a three degrees-of-freedom(3-DOF)manipulator and experiments on a real-time electromechanical servo system are performed to verify the performance of the proposed approach.

In this paper, we will give a general introduction to the Ali CMB Polarization Telescope(Ali CPT) project,which is a Sino–US joint project led by the Institute of High Energy Physics and involves many different institutes in China. It is the first ground-based Cosmic Microwave Background(CMB) polarization experiment in China and an integral part of China’s Gravitational-wave Program. The main scientific goal of the Ali CPT project is to probe the primordial gravitational waves(PGWs) originating from the very early Universe. The AliCPT project includes two stages. The first stage, referred to as AliCPT-1, is to build a telescope in the Ali region of Tibet at an altitude of 5250 meters. Once completed, it will be the highest ground-based CMB observatory in the world and will open a new window for probing PGWs in the northern hemisphere. The AliCPT-1 telescope is designed to have about 7000 transition-edge sensor detectors at 95 GHz and 150 GHz. The second stage is to have a more sensitive telescope(Ali CPT-2) with more than 20 000 detectors. Our simulations show that AliCPT will improve the current constraint on the tensor-to-scalar ratio r by one order of magnitude with three years’ observation. Besides the PGWs, Ali CPT will also enable a precise measurement of the CMB rotation angle and provide a precise test of the CPT symmetry. We show that three years’ observation will improve the current limit by two orders of magnitude.

Electric power grids are evolving into complex cyber-physical power systems(CPPSs)that integrate advanced information and communication technologies(ICTs)but face increasing cyberspace threats and *** study considers CPPS cyberspace security under distributed denial of service(DDoS)attacks and proposes a nonzero-sum game-theoretical model with incomplete information for appropriate allocation of defense resources based on the availability of limited *** time delay is applied to quantify the expected utility as CPPSs have high time requirements and incur massive damage DDoS *** resource allocation strategies are adopted by attackers and defenders under the three cases of attack-free,failed attack,and successful attack,which lead to a corresponding consumption of resources.A multidimensional node value analysis is designed to introduce physical and cybersecurity *** experiments and numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model for the appropriate allocation of defense resources in CPPSs under limited resource availability.

Global climate change poses a severe threat to mountain *** plasticity and local adaptation are two common strategies for alpine plant to cope with such *** may facilitate organismal adaptation to contrasting environments,depending on the influences of the environment or genotype or their interacted *** this study,we use an endemic alpine plant(Rorippa elata)in the Hengduan mountains(HDM)to unravel its phenotypic basis of adaptation strategy and evaluate the relative contributions of environment and genotype to its *** transplanted 37 genotypes of *** into two common gardens across low and high elevations(2800 vs.3800 m)during *** fitness-related traits were measured,including flowering probability and glucosinolates(GS)*** estimated the environmental or genotypic contributions to the phenotype and identified the main environmental *** results revealed that both environment and genotype-by-environment interactions contributed to the phenotypes of *** heterogeneity was identified as a key factor that explained 24%of the total phenotypic *** particular,genotypes of the northern HDM showed significantly higher plasticity in flowering probability than those of the southern ***,within the southern HDM,GS content indicated local adaptation to herbivory stresses for *** genotypes along *** conclusion,our results suggest that *** may have adapted to the alpine environment through species-level plasticity or regional-level local *** processes were shaped by either complex topography or interactions between genotype and mountain *** study provides empirical evidence on the adaptation of alpine plants.

Origin of the Yueguang gold deposit in Xinhua, Hunan Province, South China: insights from fl uid inclusion and hydrogen–oxygen stable isotope analysis

The Yueguang gold deposit is located in Fengjia,Xinhua County,Hunan Province,South *** represents a recently discovered small-scale gold deposit situated in the southwestern region of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt,west of the Baimashan granitic *** order to discern the characteristics of the ore-formingﬂuids,the underlying mineralization processes,and establish a foundation for the origin of the Yueguang gold depositﬂuid inclusion micro-thermometry,as well as quartz hydrogen and oxygen isotope analysis,have been carried out on samples obtained from various stages of *** hydrothermal miner-alization stages within the Yueguang gold deposit can be categorized into three stages:(i)the barren,pre-ore quartz-pyrite stage(Stage Ⅰ),the quartz-pyrite-gold stage(Stage Ⅱ),and the post-ore quartz-carbonate stage(Stage Ⅲ),with the second stage being the main mineralization ***ﬂuid inclusions identiﬁed in samples from the main min-eralization stage can predominantly be described with the NaCl–H_(2)O and CO_(2)–NaCl–H_(2)O *** inclusions display homogenization temperatures ranging from 158.8 to 334.9℃,and theﬂuid salinity ranges from 0.3%to 4.0%(wt.%NaCl equiv.).Laser Raman spectroscopy analysis of individual inclusions further reveals the presence of gas-phases such as CO_(2),CH_(4),and N_(2).Isotopic analysis indicatesδ^(18)Oﬂuid values ranging from 3.95 to 6.7‰ and δDH_(2)O values ranging from-71.9 to-55.7‰.These results indi-cate that the ore-formingﬂuid of the Yueguang gold deposit belongs to metamorphic hydrothermalﬂuids of middle-low temperature and low *** the process of ore formation,gold is transported in the form of Au(HS)2-complexes,with gold deposition being driven byﬂuid ***,the Yueguang gold deposit is categorized as an orogenic gold deposit dominated by metamorphic hydrother-malﬂ*** may become a new target for gold exploration in the Baimashan region,central Hunan Province.
