AA5454-O aluminum alloy plates with thicknesses of 1.4 and 1.0 mm were friction-stir-lap-welded (FSLWed).The influences of the tool plunge depth and welding distance on surface appearance,macrostructure and mechanical properties of the FSLWed plates were experimentally *** tensile shear load of the FSLWed plates was compared with that of the adhesive-bonded ***-free FSLWed zones were successfully obtained in all the tool plunge depths and the welding *** FSLWed zones exhibited the relatively smooth surface *** all the FSLWed conditions,the FSLWed zone exhibited higher average hardness than the base *** addition,the upper plate exhibited a higher average hardness than the lower plate,although there was no special tendency in spite of the change in the tool plunge depth and the welding *** maximum tensile shear load of the FSLWed plates was much higher than that of the adhesive-bonded aluminum alloy ***,under the FSLW condition of the plunge depth of 1.8 mm and the welding distance of 40 mm,the tensile shear load of the FSLWed plate reached a level about 41% greater than that of the adhesive-bonded aluminum alloy *** addition,the maximum tensile shear load of the FSLWed plate was increased with the increase of the welding distance.

Energy efficiency is a primary consideration in a wireless sensor network (WSN). This is also a major parameter when designing a medium access control (MAC) protocol for WSNs. Hierarchical clustering structure is regarded suitable for WSNs due to its good performance in energy conservation. In this work, an adequately flexible mechanism for clustering WSNs is designed, in which some creative or promotional metrics are utilized, such as cluster head selection algorithm, cluster optional reconstruction, interested data transmission, multiple path routing protocol. All these strategies were cooperated to maximize energy saving of whole system. An appropriate MAC protocol for this mechanism is proposed, by flexibly switching the status of diverse sensor nodes in different strategies. The simulation results show that the proposed MAC protocol is suitable for clustering WSNs and performs well in aspects of energy efficiency, flexibility and scalability.

Thermal deformation of aluminum alloy casting materials for manufacturing the tire mold was numerically *** AC7A and AC4C casting material was selected as casting material and the metal casting device was used in order to manufacture the mold product of automobile tire in the actual industrial *** temperature distribution and the cooling time of casting materials were numerically calculated by finite element analysis (FEA).Also,the thermal deformation such as displacement and stress distribution was calculated from the temperature *** thermal deformation was closely related to the temperature difference between the surface and inside of the *** numerical analysis results reveal that the thermal deformation of AC7A casting material is higher than that of AC4C casting ***,the thermal deformation results at the central part are larger than that on the side of casting because of the shrinkage caused by the cooling speed difference.

To improve neuromorphic computing performance,neuromorphic system components should mimic the behaviors of organic *** this study,a synaptic a-Si:H/a-Ga_(2)O_(3)phototransistor featuring all-optical and-electrical emulation is fabricated in a manner advantageous for complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor process *** phototransistor exhibits excitatory and inhibitory synaptic behaviors under stimulation by both optical and electrical *** mimics several essential synaptic functions,including excitatory postsynaptic current,inhibitory postsynaptic current,short-term memory,long-term memory,pairedpulse facilitation,and spike-timing-dependent *** optical and electrical modulation mechanisms are confirmed to arise from the a-Si:H/a-Ga_(2)O_(3) heterojunction structure and interface effects,and the device is shown to operate at low power in both optical and electrical *** all-optical weight modulation function is applied to the wavelength-differential behavior response of zebrafish,successfully mimicking the color perception process of the ***,to verify the translation of the optoelectrical-derived synaptic behaviors of the phototransistor into artificial neuromorphic computation,handwritten digit image recognition of the Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology dataset is performed by a convolutional neural network,with a demonstrated average learning accuracy of 98.46%.These findings verify the applicability of the synaptic a-Si:H/a-Ga_(2)O_(3) phototransistor in neuromorphic computing.

Cumulative incidence and risk factors for pouch adenomas associated with familial adenomatous polyposis following restorative proctocolectomy

BACKGROUND The emergence of restorative total proctocolectomy has significantly reduced the lifetime colorectal cancer risk associated with familial adenomatous polyposis(FAP).However,adenomas may develop in the ileal pouch over time and may even progress to *** evaluated the cumulative incidence,time to development,and risk factors associated with ileal pouch *** To evaluate the cumulative incidence,time to development,and risk factors associated with pouch *** In this retrospective,observational study conducted at a tertiary center,95 patients with FAP who underwent restorative proctocolectomy at our center between 1989 and 2018 were consecutively *** mean follow-up period was 88 *** Pouch adenomas were found in 24(25.3%)patients,with a median time of 52 mo to their first *** adenomas were detected in most patients(95.9%).There were no high-grade dysplasia or *** the 24 patients with pouch adenomas,13 had all detected adenomas *** the 13 patients who underwent complete adenoma removal,four(38.5%)developed *** 11(45.8%)patients with numerous polyps within the pouch,seven(63.6%)exhibited progression of pouch *** cumulative risks of pouch adenoma development at 5,10,and 15 years after pouch surgery were 15.2%,29.6%,and 44.1%,*** colorectal polyposis(with more than 1000 polyps)was a significant risk factor for pouch adenoma development(hazard ratio,2.49;95% confidence interval:1.04-5.96;P=0.041).CONCLUSION Pouch adenomas occur at a fairly high rate in association with FAP after restorative proctocolectomy,and a high colorectal polyp count is associated with pouch adenoma development.
