Effect of compression deformation on precipitation phase behavior of B-containing S31254 super austenitic stainless steel

Effects of compression deformation on the sigma-phase precipitation behavior of B-containing S31254 stainless steel after solution treatment were studied using the Gleeble compression test. The cold and hot processing characteristics of B-containing S31254 stainless steel were evaluated, and the results show that the speed of compression deformation increased the precipitation rate of the sigma phase, and the location of precipitation extended from the austenite grain boundary to the original hot rolling deformation area. During cold deformation at room temperature, the precipitation rate increased when the deformation reached at 40%. Deformation at 950℃ affected precipitation more obviously. At 1074 ℃, when the deformation reached 20%, the precipitated phases started increasing, and above this deformation range, precipitation began decreasing. Also, at 1074℃ the deformation accelerated the precipitation of sigma phase;but with deformation, there was a change in critical temperature for the sigma-phase excursion. The precipitation position of the sigma phase is strongly related to the area of the original hot rolling deformation. With an increase in the deformation amount, precipitates in this region appeared as coarse-grained, skeletal, and network-like features.

Outbreaks of both influenza virus and the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 are serious threats to human health and life. It is very important to establish a rapid, accurate test with large-scale detection potential to prevent the further spread of the epidemic. An optimized RPA-Cas12a-based platform combined with digital microfluidics(DMF), the RCD platform, was established to achieve the automated, rapid detection of influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2. The probe in the RPA-Cas12a system was optimized to produce maximal fluorescence to increase the amplification signal. The reaction droplets in the platform were all at the microliter level and the detection could be accomplished within 30 min due to the effective mixing of droplets by digital microfluidic technology. The whole process from amplification to recognition is completed in the chip, which reduces the risk of aerosol contamination. One chip can contain multiple detection reaction areas, offering the potential for customized *** RCD platform demonstrated a high level of sensitivity, specificity(no false positives or negatives), speed(≤30 min),automation and multiplexing. We also used the RCD platform to detect nucleic acids from influenza patients and COVID-19 patients. The results were consistent with the findings of q PCR. The RCD platform is a one-step, rapid, highly sensitive and specific method with the advantages of digital microfluidic technology, which circumvents the shortcomings of manual operation. The development of the RCD platform provides potential for the isothermal automatic detection of nucleic acids during epidemics.

Optimal asset allocation for university endowment funds is very important in USA. The management of endowment funds is challenging due to the need of finding out the balance between providing adequate and stable spending for beneficiaries and growth of the portfolio. In this paper, the author address these allocation constraints in a dynamic framework, in which minimum subsistence levels are introduced in the objective function and derive explicit formulas for the optimal portfolio strategy.

University endowment funds are important capitals in many universities in China today. A lot of universities target their endowment spending at a fixed spending ratio. Because of volatile inflation, it is not optimal. In this paper, the author analyzes the importance of spending policy of university endowment funds, and suggests two models in accordance with inflation-adjusted value.

We report geochemical data for carbonate rocks from the Cambrian Zhangxia Formation,southern North China Block,including trace-element contents and C,O,and Sr isotopic compositions,to determine the controls on the development of microbialites in this *** sedimentary environment of the Zhangxia Formation evolved from carbonate-slope through platform-margin-reef to ooid-shoal,and then to open-platform settings,corresponding to the development of micrites,microbialites,and oolitic *** data show that δ13C values decrease upwards through the Zhangxia Formation,from 0.99‰to-1.59‰,whereas δ18O values increase from-9.91‰to-7.10‰.Total rare earth element （REE）contents decrease upwards through the stratigraphy,and the contents of Th and Sc show a similar trend.87Sr/86Sr ratios reach a maximum of 0.710544 in the horizons of microbialite development,Member 2 of the Zhangxia Formation,above which the ratios are uniform,with a mean value of *** these geochemical data with the inferred sedimentary evolution,the Zhangxia Formation is interpreted to have formed in a depositional environment that changed from transgression to *** weathering played a crucial role in promoting the input of terrigenous materials,which in turn favored the development of microbialites during the early stage of deposition of the Zhangxia Formation.

The hot compressive deformation behaviors of Cu-6wt.%Ag alloy were studied experimentally in the temperature range of 973.1123 K and the strain rate range of 0.01.10 s^-*** stress increases and reaches the maximum value when the true strain is very small,and then the stress changes slowly and tends to be stable under the action of work hardening,dynamic recovery and *** material parameters of the conventional Arrhenius constitutive model are only related to strain under different deformation conditions,and the prediction error is large,which cannot accurately characterize the hot deformation behavior of the *** describe the hot deformation behavior of the alloy accurately,a modified constitutive model was established by considering the simultaneous influence of forming temperature,strain rate and *** results indicate that correlation coefficient(R)and the average absolute relative error(AARE)are 0.993 and 4.2%,*** modified constitutive model can accurately describe the hot deformation behavior of Cu-6wt.%Ag alloy.

We propose and fabricate a monolithic optical interconnect on a GaN-on-silicon platform using a wafer-level technique. Because the InGaN/GaN mukiple-quantum-well diodes （MQWDs） can achieve light emission and detection simultaneously, the emitter and collector sharing identical MQW structure are produced using the same process. Suspended waveguides interconnect the emitter with the collector to form in-plane light coupling. Monolithic optical interconnect chip integrates the emitter, waveguide, base, and collector into a multi-component system with a common base. Output states superposition and 1 × 2 in-piane light communication are experimentally demonstrated. Nowadays,force sensors play an important role in industrial production,electronic information,medical health,and many other ***-dimensional material-based filed effect transistor(2D-FET)sensors are competitive with nano-level size,lower power consumption,and accurate ***,few of them has the capability of impulse detection which is a path function,expressing the cumulative effect of the force on the particle over a period of *** we fabricated the flexible polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)gate dielectric MoS_(2)-FET for force and impulse sensor *** systematically investigated the responses of the sensor to constant force and varying forces,and achieved the conversion factors of the drain current signals(I_(ds))to the detected impulse(I).The applied force was detected and recorded by I_(ds)with a low power consumption of~30 *** sensitivity of the device can reach~8000%and the 4×1 sensor array is able to detect and locate the normal force applied on ***,there was almost no performance loss for the device as left in the air for two months.
