The transverse momentum distributions of the identified particles produced in small collision systems at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider(RHIC) and Large Hadron Collider(LHC) have been analyzed by four models. The first two models utilize the blast-wave model with different statistics. The last two models employ certain linear correspondences based on different *** four models describe the experimental data measured by the Pioneering High Energy Nuclear Interaction eXperiment, Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC, and A Large Ion Collider Experiment collaborations equally well. It is found that both the kinetic freeze-out temperature and transverse flow velocity in the central collisions are comparable with those in the peripheral collisions. With the increase of collision energy from that of the RHIC to that of the LHC,the considered quantities typically do not decrease. Comparing with the central collisions, the proton–proton collisions are closer to the peripheral collisions.

AIM: To investigate the role of enhancer of zeste homologue 2 (EZH2) and STAT6 immunohistochemistry in the evaluation of clinical stages and prognosis of colorectal cancer (CRC). METHODS: The expression patterns were examined by immunohistochemistry in both tumor and adjacent non-neoplastic tissues of 119 CRC patients who underwent operation during the time period from 2002 to 2004. RESULTS: The positive rates of EZH2 and STAT6 in CRC cases were 69.7% (83 of 119) and 60.5% (72 of 119), respectively, and there was signifi cant differ-ence when compared with tumor adjacent non-neoplastic tissues (P < 0.05). In all CRC cases, patientswith EZH2-positive, or STAT6-positive expression had lower survival rates than those with EZH2-negative or STAT6-negative expression (P = 0.002 and P = 0.005, respectively). Co-expression of EZH2 and STAT6 showed signifi cantly higher levels in CRC cases of high clinical TNM stages (P = 0.001), and the expression of STAT6 was also correlated with lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis (P = 0.001 and P = 0.016, respectively). Multivariate analysis revealed that EZH2 expression was an independent prognostic indicator of CRC (P = 0.039). CONCLUSION: EZH2 and STAT6 expressions have significant values in distinguishing clinical stages of CRC and predicting the prognosis of the patients.

Effect of tramadol on immune responses and nociceptive thresholds in a rat model of incisional pain

Objective： To evaluate the effects oftramadol on the proinflammatory responses in a rat model of incisional pain by investigating its effects on nociceptive thresholds and serum interleukin-6 （IL-6） and IL-2 levels. Methods： Forty-two male Sprague-Dawley （SD） rats scheduled for plantar incision were randomly divided into 7 groups 01=6 in each group）. Rats in Group 1 receiving general anesthesia with no incision were served as control; At 30 min before skin incision, Groups 2-5 were given 5 ml normal saline or 1, 10, and 20 mg/kg tramadol, respectively, intraperitoneally （i.p.）; Group 6 received 10 mg/kg tramadol after operation; Group 7 received 10 mg/kg tramadol before incision, followed by 200 μg/kg naloxone after operation. Mechanical allodynia was measured by electronic yon Frey filament to evaluate the nociceptive thresholds 1 h before incision, and 1 h and 2 h after operation. Serum IL-6 and IL-2 levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） 2 h after operation. Results： Mechanical thresholds decreased significantly and serum IL-6 level increased significantly after operation in Group 2 compared with control （P〈0.01）, and these changes were reversed respectively by tramadol in a dose-dependent manner （P〈0.05 and P〈0.01, respectively）. IL-2 level remained unchanged after operation in Group 2, but decreased in Group 3 （P〈0.05）, then gradually returned to the normal level in Groups 4 and 5. The intraperitoneally injected tramadol （10 and 20 mg/kg） produced a potent and dose-dependent antinocicptive effect on the lesioned paw. The antinocicptive effects of tramadol were partially an- tagonized by naloxone （200 μg/kg）, suggesting an additional non-opioid mechanism. Conclusion： The results suggest that tramadol could be a good choice for the treatment of pain under the conditions that immunosuppression may be particularly contraindicated.

Background： Bovine mastitis is the most common and costly disease of lactating cattle worldwide. Apart from milk somatic cell count（SCC） and somatic cell score（SCS）, serum cytokines such as interleukin-17（IL-17） and interleukin-4（IL-4） may also be potential indicators for bovine mastitis. The present study was designed to investigate the effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms（SNPs） in bovine IL-17 F and IL-17 A genes on SCC, SCS and serum cytokines in Chinese Holstein and Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle, and to compare the m RNA expression variations of the cows with different ***： A total of 464 lactating cows（337 Holstein and 127 Inner-Mongolia Sanhe cattle） were screened for SNPs identification and the data were analyzed using fixed effects of herd, parity, season and year of calving by general linear model procedure. The results revealed that SNP g.24392436 C ＆gt; T in IL-17 F and SNP g.24345410 A ＆gt; G in IL-17 A showed significant effects on SCC and IL-4 in Holstein（n = 337） and on IL-17 and IL-4 in Sanhe cattle（n = 127）. The homozygous GG genotype of SNP g.24345410 A ＆gt; G had significantly higher m RNA expression compared with the heterozygous AG ***： The results indicate that IL-17 F and IL-17 A could be powerful candidate genes of mastitis resistance and the significant SNPs might be useful genetic markers against mastitis in both dairy and dual purpose cattle.

Compound 1 represents the first nickel-containing sandwich-type polyoxometalate functionalized by bisphosphonate ligands. Further, the sandwich-type polyoxoanions aggregated via the H-bonding interactions into a two-dimensional （2D） suoramolecular framewnrk.

Dear Editor,Nowadays,two autologous CAR19-T drugs,Tisagenlecleucel(Kymriah^(TM))and axicabtagene ciloleucel(Yescarta^(TM)),have been approved for the treatment of B cell leukemia and lymphoma and achieved unprecedented ***,about 10-20%of B-ALL patients receiving CAR19-T drugs didn't achieve complete remission(CR),while 30~50%of patients achieved CR would relapse mainly within 1 ***,the high CR rate of CAR19-T therapy for B-ALL can't be recaptured in other B-NHLs,'such as Burkitt's lymphoma(BL).Therefore,there is an urgent need to improve the therapeutic efficacy of CAR19-T cells.3.
