This study investigates the effects of displacement damage on the dark signal of a pinned photodiode CMOS image sensor(CIS)following irradiation with back-streaming white neutrons from white neutron sources at the China spallation neutron source(CSNS)and Xi'an pulsed reactor(XAPR).The mean dark signal,dark signal non-uniformity(DSNU),dark signal distribution,and hot pixels of the CIS were compared between the CSNS back-n and XAPR neutron *** nonionizing energy loss and energy distribution of primary knock-on atoms in silicon,induced by neutrons,were calculated using the open-source package *** analysis combining experimental and simulation results showed a noticeable proportionality between the increase in the mean dark signal and the displacement damage dose(DDD).Additionally,neutron energies influence DSNU,dark signal distribution,and hot *** neutron energies at the same DDD level may lead to pronounced dark signal non-uniformity and elevated hot pixel values.

BACKGROUND Acute pancreatitis(AP) is rapid-onset pancreatic inflammation that causes local and systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS) with high morbidity and mortality, but no approved therapies are currently available. Pancreatic injury, inflammatory cytokines expression, and inflammatory cell infiltration was measured in AP mouse models induced with PSGL-1 knockout(PSGL-1-/-) and wild-type(PSGL-1+/+) mice. Leukocyteendothelial cell adhesion was measured in a peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC)-endothelial cell coculture *** The expression of PSGL-1 on monocytes and neutrophils was significantly increased in AP patients. Compared with PSGL-1+/+ mice, PSGL-1-/-AP mice induced by caerulein exhibited lower serum amylase, less Interleukin-1 beta(IL-1 beta) and Interleukin-6(IL-6) expression, less neutrophil and macrophage infiltration, and reduced peripheral neutrophil and monocyte accounts. PSGL-1 deficiency alleviated leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion via IL-6 but not IL-1 *** PSGL-1 deficiency effectively inhibits the development of AP by preventing leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion via IL-6 stimulation and may become a potential therapeutic target for treating AP.

The androgen receptor（AR） signaling activated by dihydrotestosterone（DHT） plays critical roles in pros- tate cancer development and progression. Phytoestrogens, which are diphenolic compounds with estrogen and an- ti-estrogen effects, can bind to estrogen receptors. However, their function on AR signaling has not been fully eluci- dated. In this study, dual-luciferase reporter assay, immunobloting, docking system test, MTT assay, immunofluores- cence and chromatin immunoprecipitation（ChlP） assays were employed to examine the potential effects of three phytoestrogens（genistein, daidzein, flavone） on DHT-activated prostate specific antigen（PSA） activation, cell proli- feration and AR transactivation in lymph node carcinoma of prostate（LNCaP） cells. Phytoestrogens were detected to down-regulate DHT-activated AR-mediated PSA promoter transactivation by dual-luciferase reporter system. Fur- thermore, three phytoestrogens, especially genistein, were demonstrated to significantly decrease AR-activated PSA protein expression by Western blotting analysis. MTT experiment proves that phytoestrogens, especially genistein, remarkably inhibits the DHT-indueed cell proliferation in LNCaP cells. To provide reasonable explanations for expe- rimental phenomena mentioned above, we did docking system test and detected phytoestrogens to share the same AR-binding site with DHT. To further prove the competition between phytoestrogen and DHT on AR binding, we examined the effects of phytoestrogens on DHT-activated AR nuclear translocation and immunofluorescence analysis which confirms that phytoestrogens, especially genistein, inhibit DHT-activated androgen receptor nuclear transloca- tion. Results from ChIP show that phytoestrogens down-regulate DHT-induces AR binding to the androgen response elements（AREs, including AREI, AREII, and AREIII） in PSA promoter. Terahertz(THz) frequency region, defined from0.1 to 10 THz, is an important frequency band for radio astronomy and atmospheric science. As NbN Superconductor-Insulator-Superconductor(SIS) mixers used for terahertz detection, which are studied by the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), work at 8–10 K, and require condition of micro vibrations, its astronomical observation in aerospace is limited by suitable refrigeration method. 4 K high frequency pulse tube cryocooler developed by Key Laboratory of Space Energy Conversion Technologies(SECT), Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry(TIPC), CAS, offers an opportunity for the application of SIS mixers. This article introduces the progress of the two-stage high frequency pulse tube cryocooler researched by TIPC. The cryocooler has reached a no load temperature of 4.5 K which is the lowest temperature for this kind of cryocooler reported so far. The successful coupling between the THz component and the high frequency pulse tube cryocooler lays a solid foundation for space detection in the terahertz band.

Reversible protonic ceramic electrochemical cells(R-PCECs)demonstrate great feasibility for efficient energy storage and *** critical challenge for the development of R-PCECs is the design of novel air electrodes with the characteristics of high catalytic activity and acceptable ***,we report a donor doping of Hf into the B-site of a cobalt-based double perovskite with a nominal formula of PrBa_(0.8)Ca_(0.2)Co_(1.9)Hf_(0.1)O_(5tδ)(PBCCHf_(0.1)),which is naturally reconfigured to a double perovskite PrBa_(0.8-x)Ca_(0.2)Co_(1.9)Hf_(0.1)-xO5tδ(PBCCHf_(0.1)-x)backbone and nano-sized BaHfO3(BHO)on the surface of PBCCHf_(0.1)*** air electrode demonstrates enhanced catalytic activity and durability(a stable polarization resistance of 0.269Ωcm2 for~100 h at 600℃),due likely to the fast surface exchange process and bulk diffusion *** employed as an air electrode of R-PCECs,a cell with PBCCHf_(0.1) air electrode demonstrates encouraging performances in modes of the fuel cell(FC)and electrolysis(EL)at 600℃:a peak power density of 0.998 W cm^(-2)and a current density of1.613 A cm^(-2)at 1.3 V(with acceptable Faradaic efficiencies).More importantly,the single-cell with PBCCHf_(0.1) air electrode demonstrates good cycling stability,switching back and forth from FC mode to EL mode0.5 A cm^(-2)for 200 h and 50 cycles.

Background The durable presence of polymer coating on drug-eluting stent （DES） surface may be one of the principal reasons for stent thrombosis. The long-term coronary arterial response to biodegradable polymer-coated sirolimus-eluting stent （BSES） in vivo remained *** Forty-one patients were enrolled in this study and virtual histology intravascular ultrasound （VH-IVUS） was performed to assess the native artery vascular responses to BSES compared with durable polymer-coated SES （DSES） during long-term follow-up （median： 8 months）. The incidence of necrotic core abutting to the lumen was evaluated at *** With similar in-stent late luminal loss （0.15 mm （0.06-0.30 mm） vs. 0.19 mm （0.03-0.30 mm）, P=0.772）, the overall incidence of necrotic core abutting to the lumen was significantly less in BSES group than in DSES group （44% vs.63%, P 〈0.05）（proximal 18%, stented site 14% and distal 12% in BSES group, proximal 19%, stented site 28% and distal 16% in DSES group）. The DSES-treated segments had a significant higher incidence of necrotic core abutting to the lumen through the stent struts （73% vs. 36%, P 〈0.01）. In addition, more multiple necrotic core abutting to the lumen was observed in DSES group （overall： 63% vs. 36%, P 〈0.05）. Furthermore, when the stented segments with necrotic core abutting to the lumen had been taken into account only, DSES-treated lesions tended to contain more multiple necrotic core abutting to the lumen through the stent struts than BSES-treated lesions （74% vs. 33%）, although there was no statistically significant difference between them （P=0.06）.Conclusions By VH-IVUS analysis at follow-up, a greater frequency of stable lesion morphometry was shown in lesions treated with BSESs compared with lesions treated with DSESs. The major reason was BSES produced less toxicity to the arterial wall and facilitated neointimal healing as a result of polymer coating on DES surface biodegraded as time went by.

Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is a leading cause of cancer mortality *** epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKIs)have dramatically improved the life expectancy of patients with NSCLC,concerns about TKI-induced cardiotoxicities have ***0010,a novel third-generation TKI,was developed to overcome drug resistance induced by EGFR-T790M ***,the cardiotoxicity of AC0010 remains *** evaluate the efficacy and cardiotoxicity of AC0010,we designed a novel multifunctional biosensor by integrating microelectrodes(MEs)and interdigital electrodes(IDEs)to comprehensively evaluate cell viability,electrophysiological activity,and morphological changes(beating of cardiomyocytes).The multifunctional biosensor can monitor AC0010-induced NSCLC inhibition and cardiotoxicity in a quantitative,label-free,noninvasive,and real-time ***0010 was found to significantly inhibit NCI-H1975(EGFR-L858R/T790M mutation),while weak inhibition was found for A549(wild-type EGFR).Negligible inhibition was found in the viabilities of HFF-1(normal fibroblasts)and *** the multifunctional biosensor,we found that 10μM AC0010 significantly affected the extracellular field potential(EFP)and mechanical beating of *** amplitude of EFP continuously decreased after AC0010 treatment,while the interval decreased first and then *** analyzed the change in the systole time(ST)and diastole time(DT)within a beating interval and found that the DT and DT/beating interval rate decreased within 1 h after AC0010 *** result probably indicated that the relaxation of cardiomyocytes was insufficient,which may further aggravate the ***,we found that AC0010 significantly inhibited EGFR-mutant NSCLC cells and impaired cardiomyocyte function at low concentrations(10μM).This is the first study in which the risk of AC0010-induced cardiotoxicity was *** addition,novel multifunctional bi
