Dear Editor,This letter deals with state estimation issues of discrete-time nonlinear systems subject to denial-of-service(DoS)attacks under the try-once-discard(TOD)*** specifically,to reduce the communication burden,a TOD protocol with novel update rules on protocol weights is designed for scheduling measurement *** addition,unknown nonlinear functions vulnerable to DoS attacks are considered due to the openness and vulnerability of the network.

Epilepsy is a multifaceted neurological syndrome characterized by recurrent,spontaneous,and synchronous *** pathogenesis of epilepsy,known as epileptogenesis,involves intricate changes in neurons,neuroglia,and endothelium,leading to structural and functional disorders within neurovascular units and culminating in the development of spontaneous *** current research on epilepsy treatments primarily centers around anti-seizure drugs,it is imperative to seek effective interventions capable of disrupting *** this end,a comprehensive exploration of the changes and the molecular mechanisms underlying epileptogenesis holds the promise of identifying vital biomarkers for accurate diagnosis and potential therapeutic *** early diagnosis and timely intervention is paramount,as it stands to significantly improve patient prognosis and alleviate the socioeconomic *** this review,we highlight the changes and molecular mechanisms of the neurovascular unit in epileptogenesis and provide a theoretical basis for identifying biomarkers and drug targets.

Solar-powered interfacial evaporation is an energy-efficient solution for water *** requires solar absorbers to facilitate upward water transport and limit the heat to the surface for efficient ***,downward salt ion transport is also desired to prevent salt ***,achieving simultaneously fast water uptake,downward salt transport,and heat localization is challenging due to highly coupled water,mass,and thermal ***,we develop a structurally graded aerogel inspired by tree transport systems to collectively optimize water,salt,and thermal *** arched aerogel features root-like,fan-shaped microchannels for rapid water uptake and downward salt diffusion,and horizontally aligned pores near the surface for heat localization through maximizing solar absorption and minimizing conductive heat *** structural characteristics gave rise to consistent evaporation rates of 2.09 kg m^(-2) h^(-1) under one-sun illumination in a 3.5 wt%NaCl solution for 7 days without *** in a high-salinity solution of 20 wt%NaCl,the evaporation rates maintained stable at 1.94 kg m^(-2) h^(-1) for 8 h without salt crystal *** work offers a novel microstructural design to address the complex interplay of water,salt,and thermal transport.

Gravitational waves(GWs) from compact binary coalescences encode the absolute luminosity distances of GW sources. Once the redshifts of GW sources are known, one can use the distance-redshift relation to constrain cosmological parameters. One way to obtain the redshifts is to localize GW sources by GW observations and then use galaxy catalogs to determine redshifts from a statistical analysis of redshift information of the potential host galaxies, commonly referred to as the dark siren method. The third-generation(3G) GW detectors are planned to work in the 2030s and will observe numerous compact binary *** these GW events as dark sirens requires high-quality galaxy catalogs from future sky survey projects. The China Space Station Telescope(CSST) will be launched in 2024 and will observe billions of galaxies within a 17500 deg^(2) survey area with redshift up to z ~ 4, providing photometric and spectroscopic galaxy catalogs. In this work, we simulate the CSST galaxy catalogs and the 5-year GW data from the 3G GW detectors and combine them to infer the Hubble constant(H_(0)). Our results show that the measurement precision of H0could reach the sub-percent level, meeting the standard of precision cosmology. We conclude that the synergy between CSST and the 3G GW detectors is of great significance in measuring the Hubble constant.

Metronidazole （MNZ） is a type of antibiotic that can help people and animals cure bacterial in fections,however,abuse of MNZ has posed a threat to human ***,portable and vi sual detection of MNZ is meaningful for food safety and rational administration of drugs,bu full of ***,a porous three-dimensional Tb-based metal-organic framework (MOF{（CH3）2NH2·[Tb5（TDA）8（H2O）2]·6DMF·2C2H5OH}_n（TDA-Tb） with good solvent and p H stabilities was pre pared,and the framework possesses one-dimensional channels with a diameter of 12 A along the c-axis Experiment results suggest that the synthesized TDA-Tb can selectively and sensitively detect MNZ in water,and the limit of detection （LOD） is as low as 4.1×10-7mol/***,a flexible sensor TDA Tb-M was also constructed by incorporating TDA-Tb into membrane materials for convenient *** the TDA-Tb-M firstly realized portable and visual detection of MNZ through smartphone scanning,which may inspire more probes with wide application ranges.

Aiming at the difficult problem of solving the conformation statistics of complex polymers, this study presents a novel and concise conformation statistics theoretical approach based on Monte Carlo and Neural Network method. This method offers a new research idea for investigating the conformation statistics of complex polymers, characterized by its simplicity and practicality. It can be applied to more complex topological structure, more higher degree of freedom polymer systems with higher dimensions, theory research on dynamic self-consistent field theory and polymer field theory, as well as the analysis of scattering experimental data. The conformation statistics of complex polymers determine the structure and response properties of the system. Using the new method proposed in this study, taking the semiflexible ring diblock copolymer as an example, Monte Carlo simulation is used to sample this ring conformation to construct the dataset of polymer. The structure factor describing conformation statistics are expressed as continuous functions of structure parameters by neural network supervised learning. This is the innovation of this work. As an application, the structure factors represented by neural networks were introduced into the random phase approximation theory to study the microphase separation of semiflexible ring diblock copolymers. The influence of the ring's topological properties on the phase transition behavior was pointed out.
