New progresses of fine-grained sediment gravity-flow deposits and their importance for unconventional shale oil and gas plays

Fine-grained sediments are widely distributed and constitute the most abundant component in sedimentary systems, thus the research on their genesis and distribution is of great significance. In recent years, fine-grained sediment gravity-flows(FGSGF) have been recognized as an important transportation and depositional mechanism for accumulating thick successions of fine-grained sediments. Through a comprehensive review and synthesis of global research on FGSGF deposition, the characteristics,depositional mechanisms, and distribution patterns of fine-grained sediment gravity-flow deposits(FGSGFD) are discussed, and future research prospects are clarified. In addition to the traditionally recognized low-density turbidity current and muddy debris flow, wave-enhanced gravity flow, lowdensity muddy hyperpycnal flow, and hypopycnal plumes can all form widely distributed FGSGFD. At the same time, the evolution of FGSGF during transportation can result in transitional and hybrid gravityflow deposits. The combination of multiple triggering mechanisms promotes the widespread development of FGSGFD, without temporal and spatial limitations. Different types and concentrations of clay minerals, organic matters, and organo-clay complexes are the keys to controlling the flow transformation of FGSGF from low-concentration turbidity currents to high-concentration muddy debris flows. Further study is needed on the interaction mechanism of FGSGF caused by different initiations, the evolution of FGSGF with the effect of organic-inorganic synergy, and the controlling factors of the distribution patterns of FGSGFD. The study of FGSGFD can shed some new light on the formation of widely developed thin-bedded siltstones within shales. At the same time, these insights may broaden the exploration scope of shale oil and gas, which have important geological significances for unconventional shale oil and gas.

Clinical analysis of primary small intestinal disease:A report of 309 cases

In the present study,we carried out accurate quantum wave packet as well as quasi-classical trajectory（QCT）calculations for Ca+HCl reaction using recent ab initio potential energy surface（PES）.The quantum mechanical calculation poses real challenge due to the presence of a deep well and the involvement of heavy atoms of the molecular *** calculated quantum reaction probabilities show strong oscillatory energy dependence indicating involvement of many long-lived resonance states supported by the deep *** average,the reaction probabilities monotonically increase with collision *** the cases of J＞0,Corioli-coupling effect is found to be *** reaction probabilities have also been calculated to compare with quantum *** overall trend is in good agreement between the two but the QCT fails to reproduce oscillatory resonance structure.

AIM: To evaluate the major clinical symptom, etiology, and diagnostic method in patients with primary small intestinal disease in order to improve the ***: A total of 309 cases with primary small intestinal disease were reviewed, and the major clinical symptoms,etiology, and diagnostic methods were ***: The major clinical symptoms included abdominal pain (71%), abdominal mass (14%), vomiting (10%),melaena (10%), and fever (9%). The most common disease were malignant tumor (40%). diverticulum (32%) and benign tumor (10%). Duodenal disease was involved in 36% of the patients with primary small intestinal diseases. The diagnostic rate for primary small intestinal diseases by double-contrast enteroclysis was 85.6%.CONCLUSION: Abdominal pain is the most common clinical symptom in patients with primary small intestinal *** tumors are the most common diseases. Duodenum was the most common part involved in small ***-contrast enteroclysis was still the simplest and the most available examination method in diagnosis of primary small intestinal disease. However, more practical diagnostic method should be explored to improve the diagnostic accuracy.

Utilizing BP neural networks to accurately reconstruct the tritium depth profile in materials for BIXS

Quantum dynamics calculation has been carried out for Na+HF→Na F+H reaction on a recent ab intio potential energy surface（PES）using Chebyshev real wave packet *** total reaction probability increases sharply with collision energy starting from high threshold *** overall feature is characterized with small oscillations superimposed on a broad background,indicating the limited role of resonance states in this *** total reaction probability corresponding to ground initial state is small due to the high endothermicity and the existence of late potential barrier,however,it is found to be strongly augmented by initial state excitations especially the vibrational excitation.

β-ray-induced X-ray spectroscopy(BIXS)is a promising method for tritium detection in solid materials because of its unique advantages,such as large detection depth,nondestructive testing capabilities,and low requirements for sample ***,high-accuracy reconstruction of the tritium depth profile remains a significant challenge for this *** this study,a novel reconstruction method based on a backpropagation(BP)neural network algorithm that demonstrates high accuracy,broad applicability,and robust noise resistance is *** average reconstruction error calculated using the BP network(8.0%)was much lower than that obtained using traditional numerical methods(26.5%).In addition,the BP method can accurately reconstruct BIX spectra of samples with an unknown range of tritium and exhibits wide applicability to spectra with various tritium ***,the BP network demonstrates superior accuracy and stability compared to numerical methods when reconstructing the spectra,with a relative uncertainty ranging from 0 to 10%.This study highlights the advantages of BP networks in accurately reconstructing the tritium depth profile from BIXS and promotes their further application in tritium detection.

Bisphenol A(BPA)is an industrial pollutant that can cause immune *** acts as an antioxidant,as selenium deficiency often accompanies oxidative stress,resulting in organ *** study is the first to demonstrate that BPA and/or selenium deficiency induce pyroptosis and ferroptosis-mediated thymic injury in chicken and chicken lymphoma cell(MDCC-MSB-1)via oxidative stress-induced endoplasmic reticulum(ER)*** established a broiler chicken model of BPA and/or selenium deficiency exposure and collected thymus samples as research subjects after 42 *** results demonstrated that BPA or selenium deficiency led to a decrease in antioxidant enzyme activities(T-AOC,CAT,and GSH-Px),accumulation of peroxides(H2O2 and MDA),significant upregulation of ER stress-relatedmarkers(GRP78,IER 1,PERK,EIF-2α,ATF4,and CHOP),a significant increase in iron ion levels,significant upregulation of pyroptosis-related gene(NLRP3,ASC,Caspase1,GSDMD,IL-18 and IL-1β),significantly increase ferroptosis-related genes(TFRC,COX2)and downregulate GPX4,HO-1,FTH,*** vitro experiments conducted in MDCC-MSB-1 cells confirmed the results,demonstrating that the addition of antioxidant(NAC),ER stress inhibitor(TUDCA)and pyroptosis inhibitor(Vx765)alleviated oxidative stress,endoplasmic reticulum stress,pyroptosis,and ***,this study concludes that the combined effects of oxidative stress and ER stress mediate pyroptosis and ferroptosis in chicken thymus induced by BPA exposure and selenium deficiency.
