Primary logistics planning of oil products under the imbalance of supply and demand

This paper intends to complete the primary logistics planning of oil products under the imbalance of supply and demand. An integrated mathematical programming model is developed to simultaneously find the balance between supply and demand, and optimize the logistics scheme. The model takes minimum logistics cost and resource adjustment cost as the objective function, and takes supply and demand capacity, transportation capacity, mass balance, and resource adjustment rules as *** adjustment rules are considered in the model, including resource adjustment within oil suppliers,within oil consumers, and between oil consumers. The model is tested on a large-scale primary logistics of a state-owned petroleum enterprise, involving 37 affiliated refineries, 31 procurement departments,286 market depots and dedicated consumers. After the unified optimization, the supply and demand imbalance is eased by 97% and the total cost is saved by 7%, which proves the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed model.

Evidence-Based Dampness-Heat ZHENG(Syndrome) in Cancer: Current Progress toward Establishing Relevant Animal Model with Pancreatic Tumor

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases affecting the health of human beings. With limited therapeutic options available, complementary and alternative medicine has been widely adopted in cancer management and is increasingly becoming accepted by both patients and healthcare workers alike. Chinese medicine characterized by its unique diagnostic and treatment system is the most widely applied complementary and alternative medicine. It emphasizes symptoms and ZHENG(syndrome)-based treatment combined with contemporary disease diagnosis and further stratifies patients into individualized medicine subgroups. As a representative cancer with the highest degree of malignancy, pancreatic cancer is traditionally classified into the "amassment and accumulation". Emerging perspectives define the core pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer as "dampness-heat" and the respective treatment "clearing heat and resolving dampness" has been demonstrated to prolong survival in pancreatic cancer patients, as has been observed in many other cancers. This clinical advantage encourages an exploration of the essence of dampness-heat ZHENG(DHZ) in cancer and investigation into underlying mechanisms of action of herbal formulations against dampness-heat. However, at present, there is a lack of understanding of the molecular characteristics of DHZ in cancer and no standardized and widely accepted animal model to study this core syndrome in vivo. The shortage of animal models limits the ability to uncover the antitumor mechanisms of herbal medicines and to assess the safety profile of the natural products derived from them. This review summarizes the current research on DHZ in cancer in terms of the clinical aspects, molecular landscape, and animal models. This study aims to provide comprehensive insight that can be used for the establishment of a future standardized ZHENG-based cancer animal model.

An axisymmetric characteristic model for enhancing prediction of centrifugal compressor characteristics

Rapid and accurate determination of compressor characteristic maps is essential for the initial design of centrifugal compressors in aircraft power systems. The accuracy of existing methodologies, which rely on combinations of loss models, varies significantly depending on the compressor's geometry and operational range. This variance necessitates substantial experimental or Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) data for coefficient calibration. To address this challenge, this study presents an axisymmetric characteristic model for compressor performance assessment. This model incorporates the factors of blade angle, meridional passage area, and the radial deflection angle of meridional streamlines of the compressor. These factors are derived from fundamental aerodynamic equations encompassing mass, momentum, and energy conservation of the compressor. In contrast to conventional one-dimensional approaches, the proposed method reduces the number of loss coefficients and more effectively accounts for the impact of geometric alterations on centrifugal compressor properties. Furthermore, the model reduces dependence on experimental and CFD data. Efficacy of the model is validated using experimental data from four distinct types of centrifugal compressors. Correlation analysis reveals that the model's coefficients can be expressed as functions of the ratio of the Reynolds number to the impeller tip speed. This ratio serves as a characteristic parameter for the design and optimization of centrifugal compressors. Consequently, the proposed method offers an efficient and accurate means for the quick computation of centrifugal compressor characteristics. This is of great significance for improving the efficiency of centrifugal compressors and reducing energy consumption.

Particle Distribution Informed by Chain Rigidity in Diblock Copolymer Melts: The Effect of Entropy

We study the effect of chain rigidity on tailoring the nanoparticle locations for neutral and selective particles embedded in the lamellar morphology formed by semiflexible diblock copolymer chains using self-consistent field calculations. The nanoparticles are modeled through a cavity function, and the semiflexible chains are represented by the continuous Kratsky-Porod chain model. In general situation, the nanoparticles prefer to stay at the interface in order to reduce the interface areas and thus the system free energy. However, the particle distribution at the domain center is subtle, and the underlying physics is intrinsically different depending on the polymer flexibility. In the case of flexible chains, the entropy just contributes a constant shift to the free energy when the nanoparticles move around the domain center indicating that the local metastable state if appears at the domain center is wholly attributed to the local minimum in the enthalpy. If the polymers are rigid, the variation of the particle distribution at the domain center has a close relation with the polymer rigidity and nanoparticle size. In the case of strongly rigid polymers with small nanoparticles, a nearly uniform particle distribution at the domain center is observed, while in other cases, a local enhancement of particle distribution there is found. In contrast to the case of flexible chains, further analysis reveals the crucial role of entropy in controlling the shape of particle distributions at the phase domain. Specifically, the local metastable state appears in the domain center is determined by the large entropy there which arises from the weak coupling of bond orientations that allows the polymer chains to be relatively relaxed. When the particle becomes selective, its distribution in the phase domain exhibits a shift almost uniformly rather than changes its profile, and the underlying physics still holds. Quaternary Activity Characteristics and Regional Tectonic Significance of the Jiulong Fault in Jiujiang,Jiangxi Province,China

Obtaining geological and landform dislocation features,as well as the measured stratigraphic activity age,provides direct evidence to evaluate fault activity,which is more difficult to do in areas with low tectonic activity,such as eastern and central China.A detailed investigation of the fault activity,trenching,drilling joint geological profile,geological survey,and chronological analysis were used to obtain the spatial geometry,fault kinematics,and activity chronology of the Jiulong *** conclusions are as follows:(1)The Jiulong fault was a fracture zone composed of four branch faults,with a width of around 30–40 m and good extendibility,while the maximum surface rupture length was 373 m.(2)The Jiulong fault has many strata dislocations,and the dislocation distance decreased from bottom to top,demonstrating synsedimentary structure characteristics,with a maximum stratigraphic dislocation distance of 18.2 m.(3)Preliminary analysis suggested the Jiulong fault as a secondary fracture of the Xiangfan-Guangji fault zone and provided evidence of the southeastward extension of the Xiangfan-Guangji fault.A preliminary hypothesis purported the Xiangfan-Guangji fault as the seismogenic fault of the Ms 5.0 magnitude earthquake in 1911.(4)According to OSL and ESR dating analyses,the upper breakpoint of the Jiulong fault cuts into the Late Pleistocene Xingang Formation(Qp3x)strata,and the latest active age of the Jiulong fault was 57.6 *** chronology analysis confirmed an active fault from the Late Pleistocene and identified a weak tectonic in Jiujiang Province,which represents the largest active fault outcrop uncovered in the area so *** study provides evidence and research materials for the evaluation of fault activity and seismic stability in this region.

In order to improve the emergency management capability of urban rail transit system and reduce accidents during metro operation,an emergency management capability evaluation method combining analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS)is *** on the Prevention Preparation Response Recovery(PPRR)model,factors influencing the emergency management capability of the urban rail transit system are summarized from the perspective of‘human,machine,environment and management’.Then,an emergency management capability evaluation index system containing of 20 secondary indicators is constructed in four stages:emergency prevention,emergency preparation,emergency response and emergency *** weights of indicators are calculated using the AHP method,and the closeness of each indicator to the optimal solution is analysed with the TOPSIS ***,take the Beijing Metro Line 13 as an example to investigate the level of emergency management capability of urban rail *** results show that the emergency management capability of Beijing’s urban rail transit system is‘well’,among which hazard prevention measures(0.31)and emergency response team(0.34)have a greater weight on the emergency management capability of rail *** model can more accurately assess the emergency management capability of urban rail transit and provide a basis for emergency management.

Microstructural characterization and mechanical properties of(TiC+TiB)/TA15 composites prepared by an in-situ synthesis method

Titanium matrix composites reinforced with ceramic particles are considered a promising engineering material due to their combination of high specific strength,low density,and high *** this study,the TA15-based composites reinforced with a volume fraction of 10% to 25%(TiB+TiC)were prepared using powder metallurgy and casting *** characterization and phase constitution were examined using optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).In addition,the microhardness,room temperature(RT)and high temperature(HT)tensile properties of the composites were *** revealed that the reinforcements are distributed uniformly even in the composites with a high volume of TiB and ***,as the volume fraction exceeds 15%,TiB and TiC particles become coarsening and exhibit rod-like and dendritic-like *** increases gradually from 321.2 HV for the base alloy to a maximum of 473.3 HV as the reinforcement increases to 25vol.%.Tensile test results indicate that a reinforcement volume fraction above 20% is beneficial for enhancing tensile strength and yield strength at high temperatures,but it has an adverse effect on room temperature ***,if the reinforcement volume fraction is below 20%,it can improve high-temperature elongation when the temperature exceeds 600℃.

Method for the multi-view estimation of fish mass using a two-stage neural network with edge-sensitive module

The estimation of fish mass is one of the most basic and important tasks in *** the mass of fish at different growth stages is of great significance for feeding,monitoring the health status of fish,and making breeding plans to increase *** existing estimation methods for fish mass often stay in the 2D plane,and it is difficult to obtain the 3D information on fish,which will lead to the *** solve this problem,a multi-view method was proposed to obtain the 3D information of fish and predict the mass of fish through a two-stage neural network with an edge-sensitive *** the first stage,the side-and downward-view images of the fish and some 3D information,such as side area,top area,length,deflection angle,and pitch angle,were captured to estimate the size of the fish through two vertically placed *** the area of the fish at different views was estimated accurately through the pre-trained image segmentation neural network with an edgesensitive *** the second stage,a fully connected neural network was constructed to regress the fish mass based on the 3D information obtained in the previous *** experimental results indicate that the proposed method can accurately estimate the fish mass and outperform the existing estimation methods.

Dynamics of a predator-prey system with sublethal effects of pesticides on pests and natural enemies

Considering the influence of sublethal concentration of pesticides on pests and natural enemies,we propose a pest-management model with impulsive effect on chemical control and biological control strategies periodic spraying pesticide and releasing predatory natural *** using the Floquet theory and the comparison theorem of impulsive differential equations,a sufficient condition for the global asymptotic stability of the pest-eradication periodic solution is *** persistence of the system is further studied,and a sufficient condition for the persistence of the system is ***,some numerical simulations are shown to verify our theoretical *** works indicate that the sublethal effects of insecticides and the release of predatory natural enemies play significant roles in pest control in agricultural production.
