To address the guided search task of airborne phased array radar in the scenarios of large airspace with widespread distribution of cluster targets in Beyond Visual Range(BVR)air combat,a hierarchical strategy framework based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed to guide different stages of search ***,an airspace set-covering model and a radar parameter optimization model for the guided search task of cluster targets are ***,the hierarchical strategy framework including upper-level and lower-level strategies is constructed based on the above ***,the happo-rgs algorithm is proposed for feature extraction from Markov continuous observation sequences,to enhance the training effectiveness and improve the algorithm convergence *** results show that the trained agent can make precise autonomous decisions rapidly based on airspace-target covering situation and target guidance information which significantly improves the radar search performance in the forementioned scenarios compared to traditional algorithms.

Our previous study introduced a barley protein microparticle for encapsulation of hydrophobic drug/nutraceutical, which could release nanoparticles upon gastric digestion and deliver encapsulated compound to a simulated intestinal environment intact. This work focused on evaluating the potential of liberated nanoparticles to improve the absorption of encapsulated compounds(e.g., β-carotene) using in vitro Caco-2 cell and ex vivo small intestine models. Nanoparticles obtained from gastric digestion of barley protein microparticles had a spherical shape and an average size of 351 nm. Nanoparticles showed low cytotoxicity in Caco-2 cells and their cellular uptake was dependent on time, concentration and temperature. In a Caco-2 cell monolayer model, significantly greater uptake and transport of β-carotene were observed when it was delivered by nanoparticles(15%), compared to free β-carotene suspension(2.6%). In an ex vivo rat jejunum model, nanoparticles showed the capacity to retain in small intestinal tissue. Approximately 2.24 and 6.04 μg nanoparticle were able to permeate through each cm2 intestinal tissue and translocate to the serosal side after 60 and 90 min, respectively. Results from this study demonstrated the absorption improving effect of the barley protein nanoparticles and suggested their potential as vehicles for hydrophobic compounds.

Water pollution has become an urgent issue for our modem society, and it is highly desirable to rapidly deal with the water pollution without secondary pollution. In this paper, we have prepared a reduced graphene oxide （RGO） wrapped sponge with superhydrophobicity and mechanically flexibility via a facile low-temperature thermal treatment method under a reducing atmosphere. The skeleton of this sponge is completely covered with RGO layers which are closely linked to the skeleton. This sponge has an abundant pore structure, high selectivity, good recyclability, low cost, and outstanding adsorption capacity for floating oil or heavy oil underwater. In addition, this sponge can maintain excellent adsorption performance for various oils and organic solvents over 50 cycles by squeezing, and exhibits extremely high separa- tion efficiencies, up to 6 × 10^6 and 3.6 × 10^6 L·m^-3.h^-1 in non-turbulent and turbulent water/oil systems, respec- tively. This superhydrophobic adsorbent with attractive properties may find various applications, especially in large-scale removal of organic contaminants and oil spill cleanup.

In this paper, inverse solutions are obtained for the class of 2D steady incompressible couple stress fluid flows. This class consists of flows for which the vorticity distribution is given by ▽2ψ=ψ+f(x,y). The solutions are obtained by applying the inverse method, which makes certain hypotheses regarding the form of the velocity field and pressure but without making any regarding the boundaries of the domain occupied by the fluid. Inverse solutions are derived for three different forms of f(x,y).

Many single-tower reinforced concrete core wall-steel frame （RCC-SF） buildings have been built in China, but there are no buildings of different-height multi-tower hybrid system. A multi-tower RCC-SF tall building was thus studied because of its structural complexity and irregularity. First, a 1/15 scaled model structure was designed and tested on the shake table under minor, moderate, and major earthquake levels. Then, the dynamic responses of the model structure were interpreted to those of the prototype structure according to the similitude theory. Experimental results demonstrate that, despite the complexity of the structure, the lateral deformation bends as the ＂bending type＂ and the RC core walls contribute more than the steel frames to resist seismic loads. The maximum inter-story drift of the complex building under minor earthquakes is slightly beyond the elastic limitation specified in the Chinese code, and meets code requirements under major earthquakes. From the test results some suggestions are provided that could contribute favorable effect on the seismic behavior and the displacement of the building.

Latent and sensible heat fluxes based on observations from a Black Pearl wave glider were estimated along the main stream of the Kuroshio Current from the East China Sea to the east coast of Japan,from December 2018 to January *** is found that the data obtained by the wave glider were comparable to the sea surface temperature data from the Operational Sea Surface Temperature and Sea Ice Analysis and the wind field data from *** Coupled Ocean Atmosphere Response Experiment 3.0(COARE 3.0)algorithm was used to calculate the change in air-sea turbulent heat flux along the *** averaged latent heat flux(LHF)and sensible heat flux(SHF)were 235 W/m^(2)and 134 W/m^(2),respectively,and the values in the Kuroshio were significant larger than those in the East China *** LHF and SHF obtained from Objectively Analyzed Air-Sea Fluxes for the Global Oceans(OAFlux)were closer to those measured by the wave glider than those obtained from National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)reanalysis *** maximum deviation occurred in the East China Sea and the recirculation zone of the Kuroshio(deviation of SHF>200 W/m^(2);deviation of LHF>400 W/m^(2)).This indicates that the NCEP and OAFlux products have large biases in areas with complex *** wave glider has great potential to observe air-sea heat fluxes with a complex circulation structure.

Silica-coated carbonyl iron particles （CIPs） are fabricated with the Stober method to improve their heat-resistance and wave-aSsorption properties. The morphology, heat-resistance, electromagnetic properties and microwave absorption of raw-CIPs and silica-coated CIPs are investigated using a scanning electron microscope, an energy dispersive spectrometer, a thermal-gravimetric analyzer, and a network analyzer. The results show that the heat-resistance of silica-coated CIPs is better than that of raw CIFs. The reflection losses exceeding -lOdB of silica-coated CIPs are obtained in the frequency range 9.5-12.4 GHz for the absorber thickness of 2.3 mm, and the same reflection losses of uncoated CIPs reach the data in the lower frequency range for the same thickness. The enhanced microwave absorption of silica-coated CIPs can be ascribed to the combination of proper electromagnetic impedance match and the decrease of dielectric permittivity.

To examined the prevalence of hip and knee arthroplasty in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by comparing the diagnostic codes for these procedures in patients with IBD and a control group of patients. METHODSThe National Inpatient Sample database (NIS) is part of the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP), the largest publicly available inpatient healthcare database in the United States. The NIS samples about 20% of discharges from all community hospitals participating in HCUP, representative of more than 95% of the United States population, with approximately 7000000 hospitalizations reported annually. NIS contains data on diagnoses, procedures, demographics, length of stay (LOS), co-morbidities and outcomes. ICD-9-CM diagnostic codes for primary hospitalizations for arthroplasty of the hip or knee with a co-diagnosis of IBD [combining both Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC)] were used to identify study subjects for cost and LOS analysis for NIS from 1999-2012. Statistical analysis: 1: 2 propensity score matching between IBD vs a control group based on following factors: Patient age, gender, race, total co-morbidities, # of procedures, admission type, insurance, income quartiles, and hospital bed size, location and hospital teaching status. Categorical variables were reported as frequency and compared by χ2 tests or Fisher’s exact tests. Individual 1:3 matching was also performed for patients carrying diagnostic codes for CD and for patients with the diagnostic code for UC. After matching, continuous variables were rcompared with Wilcoxon signed rank or Paired T-tests. Binary outcomes were compared with the McNemar’s test. This process was performed for the diagnosis of hip or knee arthroplasty and IBD (CD and UC combined). Prevalence of the primary or secondary diagnostic codes for these procedures in patients with IBD was determined from NIS 2007. RESULTSCosts and mortality were similar for patients with IBD and cont

Porphyromonas gingivalis(P. gingivalis) is an anaerobic gram-negative bacterium that colonizes in the epithelium and has been strongly associated with periodontal disease. Recently, various degrees of associations between *** and digestive system cancers, including oral squamous cell carcinoma in the oral cavity, oesophageal squamous carcinoma in the digestive tract, and pancreatic cancer in pancreatic tissues, have been displayed in multiple clinical and experimental studies. Since P. gingivalis has a strong association with periodontal diseases, not only the relationships between P. gingivalis and digestive system tumours but also the effects induced by periodontal diseases on cancers are well-illustrated in this review. In addition, the prevention and possible treatments for these digestive system tumours induced by P. gingivalis infection are also included in this review. At the end, we also highlighted the possible mechanisms of cancers caused by P. gingivalis. One important carcinogenic effect of P. gingivalis is inhibiting the apoptosis of epithelial cells,which also plays an intrinsic role in protecting cancerous cells. Some signalling pathways activated by P. gingivalis are involved in cell apoptosis, tumourigenesis,immune evasion and cell invasion of tumour cells. In addition, metabolism of potentially carcinogenic substances caused by P. gingivalis is also one of the connections between this bacterium and cancers.
