The electromagnetically induced grating effect in thermal and cold atoms has been studied theoretically. Studies have shown that, by adjusting the parameters, the first-order diffraction efficiency of the probe beam in the cold atomic system and the thermal atomic system is 34% and 31%, respectively, which is very close to the ideal diffraction efficiency of the sinusoidal grating. However, it is more difficult to prepare the cold atomic system than to prepare the thermal atomic system in the practical application, so the study of the electromagnetically induced grating effect in the thermal atomic system may be helpful for practical applications.

Employing crystal facets to regulate the catalytic properties in electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction(eCO_(2)RR)has been well demonstrated on electrocatalysts containing single metals but rarely explored for bimetallic ***,we synthesize ZnSn(OH)_(6)(ZSO)microcrystals(MCs)with distinct facets and investigate the facet effects in eCO_(2)*** studies and in situ Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(in situ-FTIR)reveal that ZSO MCs produce mainly C1 products of HCOOH and ***{111}facet of the ZSO MCS exhibits higher selectivity and faradaic efficiency(FE)than that of the{100}facet over a wide range of potentials(-0.9 V∼-1.3 V versus RHE).Density Functional Theory(DFT)calculations elucidate that the{111}facet is favorable to the adsorption/activation of CO_(2)molecules,the formation of intermediate in the rate-determining step,and the desorption of C1 products of CO and HCOOH molecules.

When paths share a common congested link, they will all suffer from a performance degradation. Boolean tomography exploits these performance-level correlations between different paths to identify the congested links. It is clear that the congestion of a path will be distinctly intensive when it traverses multiple congested links. We adopt an enlarged state space model to mirror different congestion levels and employ a system of integer equations, instead of Boolean equations, to describe relationships between the path states and the link states. We recast the problem of identifying congested links into a constraint optimization problem, including Boolean tomography as a special case. For a logical tree, we propose an up-to-bottom algorithm and prove that it always achieves a solution to the problem. Compared with existing algorithms, the simulation results show that our proposed algorithm achieves a higher detection rate while keeping a low false positive rate.

Catalytic combustion of VOCs on Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY honeycomb monolithic catalysts

The metal oxides CuMnCe and CeY washcoats on cordierite were prepared using an impregnation method, and then used as support for the active Pt component to prepare the Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY monolithic catalysts for the deep oxidation of VOCs. In comparison with the Pt/CeY, CuMnCe, and CeY monolithic catalysts, the Pt/CuMnCe monolithic catalyst shows an excellent performance for toluene,ethyl acetate,and n-hexane oxidation and the Tis low to 216, 200 and 260 ℃,respectively. The active components Pt/PtO and CuMnCe result in a better synergetic interaction, which promote the catalyst reducibility, increase the oxygen mobility, and enhance the adsorption and activation of organic molecules.

We describe a new BVRI multicolor CCD photometric system situated at the prime focus of the 85-cm telescope at the Xinglong Station of NAOC. Atmospheric extinction effects, photometric accuracy and color calibration dependence of the system are investigated. Additional attention was paid to giving observers guidance in estimating throughput, detection limit, signal-to-noise ratio and exposure time.

Backgrounds The timely identification of large vessel occlusion(LVO)in the prehospital stage is extremely important given the disease morbidity and narrow time window for *** current evaluation strategies still remain *** goal of this study was to develop a machine learning(ML)model to predict LVO using prehospital accessible *** Consecutive acute ischaemic stroke patients who underwent CT or MR angiography and received reperfusion therapy within 8 hours from symptom onset in the Computer-based Online Database of Acute Stroke Patients for Stroke Management Quality Evaluation-II dataset from January 2016 to August 2021 were *** developed eight ML models to integrate National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)items with demographics,medical history and vascular risk factors to identify LVO and validate its *** Finally,15365 patients were included in the training set and 4215 patients were included in the test *** the test set,random forests(RF),gradient boosting machine and extreme gradient boosting presented area under the curve(AUC)of 0.831(95%CI 0.819 to 0.843),which were higher than other models,and RF presented the highest specificity(0.827).In addition,the AUC of RF was higher than other scales,and the accuracy of the model was improved by 6.4%compared with *** also found the top five items of identifying LVO were total NIHSS score,gaze deviation,level of consciousness(LOC),LOC commands and motor left *** Our proposed model could be a useful screening tool to predict LVO based on the prehospital accessible medical data.

The near infrared （NIR） spectroscopy technique has been applied in many fields because of its advantages of simple preparation, fast response, and non-destructiveness. We investigated the potential of NIR spectroscopy in diffuse reflectance mode for determining the soluble solid content （SSC） and acidity （pH） of intact loquats. Two cultivars of loquats （Dahongpao and Jiajiaozhong） harvested from two orchards （Tangxi and Chun＇an, Zhejiang, China） were used for the measurement of NIR spectra between 800 and 2500 nm. A total of 400 loquats （100 samples of each cultivar from each orchard） were used in this study. Relationships between NIR spectra and SSC and acidity of loquats were evaluated using partial least square （PLS） method. Spectra preprocessing options included the first and second derivatives, multiple scatter correction （MSC）, and the standard normal variate （SNV）. Three separate spectral windows identified as full NIR （800-2500 nm）, short NIR （800-1100 rim）, and long NIR （1100-2500 nm） were studied in factorial combination with the preprocessing options. The models gave relatively good predictions of the SSC of loquats, with root mean square error of prediction （RMSEP） values of 1.21, 1.00, 0.965, and 1.16 °Brix for Tangxi-Dahongpao, Tangxi-Jiajiaozhong, Chun＇an-Dahongpao, and Chun＇an-Jiajiaozhong, respectively. The acidity prediction was not satisfactory, with the RMSEP of 0.382, 0.194, 0.388, and 0.361 for the above four loquats, respectively. The results indicate that NIR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy can be used to predict the SSC and acidity of loquat fruit.
