An Adaptive Control Strategy for energy Storage Interface Converter Based on Analogous Virtual Synchronous Generator

In the DC microgrid,the lack of inertia and damping in power electronic converters results in poor stability of DC bus voltage and low inertia of the DC microgrid during fluctuations in load and photovoltaic *** address this issue,the application of a virtual synchronous generator(VSG)in grid-connected inverters control is referenced and proposes a control strategy called the analogous virtual synchronous generator(AVSG)control strategy for the interface DC/DC converter of the battery in the ***,a flexible parameter adaptive control method is introduced to further enhance the inertial behavior of the AVSG ***,a theoretical analysis is conducted on the various components of the DC microgrid,the structure of analogous virtual synchronous generator,and the control structure’s main parameters related to the DC microgrid’s inertial ***,the voltage change rate tracking coefficient is introduced to adjust the change of the virtual capacitance and damping coefficient flexibility,which further strengthens the inertia trend of the DC ***,a small-signal modeling approach is used to analyze the approximate range of the AVSG’s main parameters ensuring system ***,conduct a simulation analysis by building the model of the DC microgrid system with photovoltaic(PV)and battery energy storage(BeS)in MATLAB/*** results from different scenarios have verified that the AVSG control introduces fixed inertia and damping into the droop control of the battery,resulting in a certain level of inertia ***,the additional adaptive control strategy built upon the AVSG control provides better and flexible inertial support for the DC microgrid,further enhances the stability of the DC bus voltage,and has a more positive impact on the battery performance.

Mars exploration——In situ K-Ar dating of jarosite

To accurately determine the chronological framework of climatic variations recorded by various Martian terrains, the absolute ages of Martian events and cratering rate need to be constrained by either in situ dating or returned samples. In situ K-Ar dating is currently a more plausible dating technique as compared with sample return. Jarosite(KFe_(3)[SO_(4)]_(2)[OH]_(6)) is the only confirmed K sulfate mineral that is widely present on Mars, as indicated by in situ detection, orbital remote sensing, and meteorite studies. Jarosite can be used for precise K-Ar and (40)Ar/(39)Ar dating. The preservation of jarosite on Mars provides information about the nature and duration of aqueous processes on the Martian surface. Different ages of Martian jarosite represent the key to constraining the transition from Martian surface water activity to arid climatic conditions. This paper summarizes recent advances in our knowledge of the spatial distribution of Martian jarosite, its mineralogical properties and stability on Mars, the Ar diffusion kinetics of jarosite, and the current status of in situ K-Ar dating. Moreover, we examine the key scientific issues to be addressed for in situ K-Ar dating of jarosite and Martian sample return missions, and discuss future research directions.

Furan-derived Schiff base covalent adaptable thermosets with recyclability and anti-flammability

Conventional thermosetting polymers,mostly derived from nonrenewable petroleum resources,are not reprocessable and recyclable due to their highly cross-linked three-dimensional networks and face the disadvantage of high *** solve these issues,in this study,we synthesized a novel Schiff base covalent adaptable thermoset from a furan-derived tri-aldehyde monomer(TMFP)and a furan-derived di-amine monomer(DFDA).The as-prepared TMFP-DFDA-Vitrimer exhibited superior anti-flammability with a high limiting oxygen index(LOI)of 35.0%and a UL-94 V-0 rating,which was attributed to the excellent charring ***,TMFPDFDA-Vitrimer could also be conveniently recycled by chemical decomposition under a mixed hydrochloric acid/tetrahydrofuran(HCl/THF)*** recycling for 5 times,the thermal,mechanical,and flame retardant properties of the recycled TMFP-DFDA-Vitrimer retained almost unchanged compared to the original *** work provides a prime instance to develop advanced thermosetting polymers from abundant furan-based compounds.

Single-structure 3-axis Lorentz force magnetometer based on an AlN-on-Si MeMS resonator

This work presents a single-structure 3-axis Lorentz force magnetometer(LFM)based on an AlN-on-Si MeMS *** operation of the proposed LFM relies on the flexible manipulation of applied excitation currents in different directions and frequencies,enabling the effective actuation of two mechanical vibration modes in a single device for magnetic field measurements in three ***,the excited out-of-plane drum-like mode at 277 kHz is used for measuring the x-and y-axis magnetic fields,while the in-plane square-extensional mode at 5.4 MHz is used for measuring the z-axis magnetic *** different configurations of applied excitation currents ensure good crossinterference immunity among the three *** to conventional capacitive LFMs,the proposed piezoelectric LFM utilizes strong electromechanical coupling from the AlN layer,which allows it to operate at ambient pressure with a high *** understand and analyze the measured results,a novel equivalent circuit model for the proposed LFM is also reported in this work,which serves to separate the effect of Lorentz force from the unwanted capacitive *** demonstrated 3-axis LFM exhibits measured magnetic responsivities of 1.74 ppm/mT,1.83 ppm/mT and 6.75 ppm/mT in the x-,y-and z-axes,respectively,which are comparable to their capacitive counterparts.

An improved GNSS ambiguity best integer equivariant estimation method with Laplacian distribution for urban low-cost RTK positioning

The integer least squares(ILS)estimation is commonly used for carrier phase ambiguity resolution(AR).More recently,the best integer equivariant(BIe)estimation has also attracted an attention for complex application scenarios,which exhibits higher reliability by a weighted fusion of integer ***,traditional BIe estimation with Gaussian distribution(GBIe)faces challenges in fully utilizing the advantages of BIe for urban low-cost positioning,mainly due to the presence of outliers and unmodeled *** this end,an improved BIe estimation method with Laplacian distribution(LBIe)is proposed,and several key issues are discussed,including the weight function of LBIe,determination of the candidates included based on the OIA test,and derivation of the variance of LBIe solutions for reliability *** results show that the proposed LBIe method has the positioning accuracy similar to the BIe using multivariate t-distribution(TBIe),and significantly outperforms the ILS-PAR and GBIe *** an urban expressway test with a Huawei Mate40 smartphone,the LBIe method has positioning errors of less than 0.5 m in three directions and obtains over 50%improvements compared to the ILS-PAR and GBIe *** an urban canyon test with a low-cost receiver STA8100 produced by STMicroelectronics,the positioning accuracy of LBIe in three directions is 0.112 m,0.107 m,and 0.252 m,respectively,with improvements of 17.6%,27.2%,and 26.1%compared to GBIe,and 23.3%,28.2%,and 30.6%compared to ***,its computational time increases by 30–40%compared to ILS-PAR and is approximately half of that using TBIe.

Transparent photovoltaic devices(TPVDs)have attracted increasing attention in emerging electronic *** the application scenarios extend,there raise higher requirements regarding the stability and operating temperature range of *** this work,a unique preparation strategy is proposed for air stable TPVD with a wide operating temperature range,i.e.,a nanoscale architecture termed as H-TPVD is constructed that integrates a free-standing and highly transparent conductive hybrid film of graphene and single-walled carbon nanotubes(G-SWNT TCF for short)with a metal oxide NiO/TiO_(2)*** preparation approach is suitable for scaling *** to the excellent transparent conductivity of the freestanding G-SWNT hybrid film and the ultrathin NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunction(100 nm),H-TPVD selectively absorbs the ultraviolet(UV)band of sunlight and has a transparency of up to 71%in the visible *** integrated nanoscale architecture manifests the significant holecollecting capability of the G-SWNT hybrid film and the efficient carrier generation and separation within the ultrathin NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunction,resulting in excellent performance of the H-TPVD with a specific detectivity of 2.7×10^(10) ***,the freestanding G-SWNT TCF is a super stable and non-porous two-dimensional film that can insulate gas molecules,thereby protecting the surface properties of NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunctions and enhancing the stability of *** subjected to 20,000 cycles and storage in air for three months,the performance parameters such as photo-response signal,output power,and specific detectivity show no noticeable *** particular,the as-fabricated self-powered H-TPVD can operate over a wide temperature range from −180 to 300℃,and can carry out solar-blind UV optical communication in this *** addition,the 4×4 array H-TPVD demonstrates clear optical *** results make it possible for H-TPVD to expand its potential application scenarios.
