electromagnetic stirring is one of the widely applied techniques to modify the quality of casting *** from conventional rotate stirring,the helical stirring is more professional in assisting multi-dimensional flow of molten metal and eliminating solidification *** this study,the single-winding helical stirring(SWHS)was introduced,offering advantages such as smaller volume and lower electromagnetic shielding compared to traditional helical stirring *** a comprehensive numerical simulation,the stirring parameters of SWHS were adjusted to yoke inclination angle of 43°and frequency of 12 *** higher electromagnetic force and flow velocity in drawing direction,as well as the lower temperature gradient induced by the SWHS,are positive factors for homogeneous solidification of *** experimental results on Al-8%Si alloy and 0.4%C-1.1%Mn steel demonstrate that compared to rotate stirring,the SWHS process can induce better billet quality and is more effective in accelerating the equiaxed expansion and reducing element *** SWHS process can enhance the equiaxed ratio of the billet by 58.3%and reduce segregation degree of carbon element by 10.97%.Consequently,SWHS holds great promise as a potential approach for improving the quality of continuous casting billets.

With continuous hydrocarbon exploration extending to deeper basins,the deepest industrial oil accumulation was discovered below 8,200 m,revealing a new exploration ***,the extent to which oil exploration can be extended,and the prediction of the depth limit of oil accumulation(DLOA),are issues that have attracted significant attention in petroleum *** it is difficult to characterize the evolution of the physical properties of the marine carbonate reservoir with burial depth,and the deepest drilling still cannot reach the ***,the DLOA cannot be predicted by directly establishing the relationship between the ratio of drilling to the dry layer and the *** this study,by establishing the relationships between the porosity and the depth and dry layer ratio of the carbonate reservoir,the relationships between the depth and dry layer ratio were obtained *** depth corresponding to a dry layer ratio of 100%is the *** on this,a quantitative prediction model for the DLOA was finally *** results indicate that the porosity of the carbonate reservoir,Lower Ordovician in Tazhong area of Tarim Basin,tends to decrease with burial depth,and manifests as an overall low porosity reservoir in deep *** critical porosity of the DLOA was 1.8%,which is the critical geological condition corresponding to a 100%dry layer ratio encountered in the *** depth of the DLOA was 9,000 *** study provides a new method for DLOA prediction that is beneficial for a deeper understanding of oil accumulation,and is of great importance for scientific guidance on deep oil drilling.

Lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)are considered promising candidates for next-generation battery technologies owing to their outstanding theoretical energy density and ***,the low conductivity and polysulfide shuttling effect of S cathodes severely hamper the practical performance of ***,in situ-generated single layer MXene nanosheet/hierarchical porous carbonized wood fiber(MX/PCWF)composites are prepared via a nonhazardous eutectic activation strategy coupled with pyrolysis-induced gas *** unique architecture,wherein single layer MXene nanosheets are constructed on carbonized wood fiber walls,ensures rapid polysulfide conversion and continuous electron transfer for redox *** C-Ti-C bonds formed between MXene and PCWF can considerably expedite the conversion of polysulfides,effectively suppressing the shuttle *** impressive capacity of 1301.1 m A h g^(-1)at 0.5 C accompanied by remarkable stability is attained with the MX/PCWF host,as evidenced by the capacity maintenance of 722.6 m A h g^(-1)after 500 ***,the MX/PCWF/S cathode can still deliver a high capacity of 886.8 m A h g^(-1)at a high S loading of 5.6 mg cm^(-2).The construction of two-dimensional MXenes on natural wood fiber walls offers a competitive edge over S-based cathode materials and demonstrates a novel strategy for developing high-performance batteries.

The packaging materials with cushioning performance are used to prevent the internal contents from being damaged by the impact and vibration of external *** polyurethane microcellular elastomers(PUMes)can absorb energy through cell collapse and molecular chain *** this study,PUMes with different densities were investigated by scanning electron microscopy,dynamic mechanical analysis and dynamic compression *** exhibited significant im pact resistance and the maximum peak stress attenuation ratio reached 73.33%.The protective equipment was made by PUMe with the optimal density of 600 kg/m^(3),and then the acceleration sensing device installed with the same protective equipment fell from a height of 3,5 and 10 m to evaluate the energy-absorbing property and reusability of *** results showed that PUMes equipment reduced the peak acceleration of the device by 93.84%,with a maximum deviation of 9%between actual test and simulation,and shortened the impact time of first landing by 57.39%.In addition,the equipment PUMes equipment could effectively reduce the stress on the protected items.

Monocarpic senescence,characterized by whole-plant senescence following a single flowering phase,is widespread in seed plants,particularly in crops,determining seed harvest time and ***,how external and internal signals are systemically integrated into monocarpic senescence remains largely ***,we report that the Arabidopsis thaliana transcription factor WRKY1 plays essential roles in multiple key steps of monocarpic ***1 expression is induced by age,salicylic acid(SA),and nitrogen(N)*** and leaf senescence are accelerated in the WRKY1 overexpression lines but are delayed in the wrky1 *** combined DNA affinity purification sequencing and RNA sequencing analyses uncover the direct target genes of *** studies show that WRKY1 coordinately regulates three processes in monocarpic senescence:(1)suppressing FLOWeRING LOCUS C gene expression to initiate flowering,(2)inducing SA biosynthesis genes to promote leaf senescence,and(3)activating the N assimilation and transport genes to trigger N *** summary,our study reveals how one stress-responsive transcription factor,WRKY1,integrates flowering,leaf senescence,and N remobilization processes into monocarpic senescence,providing important insights into plant lifetime regulation.
