CT-based radiomics-deep learning model predicts occult lymph node metastasis in early-stage lung adenocarcinoma patients:A multicenter study

Objective: The neglect of occult lymph nodes metastasis(OLNM) is one of the pivotal causes of early non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) recurrence after local treatments such as stereotactic body radiotherapy(SBRT) or surgery. This study aimed to develop and validate a computed tomography(CT)-based radiomics and deep learning(DL) fusion model for predicting non-invasive ***: Patients with radiologically node-negative lung adenocarcinoma from two centers were retrospectively analyzed. We developed clinical, radiomics, and radiomics-clinical models using logistic regression. A DL model was established using a three-dimensional squeeze-and-excitation residual network-34(3D SE-ResNet34) and a fusion model was created by integrating seleted clinical, radiomics features and DL features. Model performance was assessed using the area under the curve(AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve, calibration curves, and decision curve analysis(DCA). Five predictive models were compared; SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP) and Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM) were employed for visualization and ***: Overall, 358 patients were included: 186 in the training cohort, 48 in the internal validation cohort, and 124 in the external testing cohort. Both acceleration and pseudo-acceleration response spectra play important roles in structural seismic ***,only one of them is generally provided in most seismic ***,many studies have attempted to develop conversion models between the acceleration response spectrum(SA)and the pseudo-acceleration response spectrum(PSA).Our previous studies found that the relationship between SA and PSA is affected by magnitude,distance,and site ***,we developed an SA/PSA model incorporating these ***,this model is suitable for cases with small and moderate magnitudes and its accuracy is not good enough for cases with large *** paper aims to develop an efficient SA/PSA model by considering influences of magnitude,distance,and site class,which can be applied to cases not only with small or moderate magnitudes but also with large *** this purpose,regression analyses were conducted using 16,660 horizontal seismic records with a wider range of *** magnitude of these seismic records varies from 4 to 9 and the distances vary from 10 to 200 *** ground motions were recorded at 338 stations covering four site *** comparing them with existing models,it was found that the proposed model shows better accuracy for cases with any magnitudes,distances,and site classes considered in this study.

The complex wiring,bulky data collection devices,and difficulty in fast and on-site data interpretation significantly limit the practical application of flexible strain sensors as wearable *** tackle these challenges,this work develops an artificial intelligenceassisted,wireless,flexible,and wearable mechanoluminescent strain sensor system(AIFWMLS)by integration of deep learning neural network-based color data processing system(CDPS)with a sandwich-structured flexible mechanoluminescent sensor(SFLC)*** SFLC film shows remarkable and robust mechanoluminescent performance with a simple structure for easy *** CDPS system can rapidly and accurately extract and interpret the color of the SFLC film to strain values with auto-correction of errors caused by the varying color temperature,which significantly improves the accuracy of the predicted strain.A smart glove mechanoluminescent sensor system demonstrates the great potential of the AIFWMLS system in human gesture ***,the versatile SFLC film can also serve as a encryption *** integration of deep learning neural network-based artificial intelligence and SFLC film provides a promising strategy to break the“color to strain value”bottleneck that hinders the practical application of flexible colorimetric strain sensors,which could promote the development of wearable and flexible strain sensors from laboratory research to consumer markets.

Fertilization or atmospheric deposition of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) to terrestrial ecosystems can alter soil N (P) availability and the nature of nutrient limitation for plant growth. Changing the allocation of leaf P fractions is potentially an adaptive strategy for plants to cope with soil N (P) availability and nutrient-limiting conditions. However, the impact of the interactions between imbalanced anthropogenic N and P inputs on the concentrations and allocation proportions of leaf P fractions in forest woody plants remains elusive. We conducted a meta- analysis of data about the concentrations and allocation proportions of leaf P fractions, specifically associated with individual and combined additions of N and P in evergreen forests, the dominant vegetation type in southern China where the primary productivity is usually considered limited by P. This assessment allowed us to quantitatively evaluate the effects of N and P additions alone and interactively on leaf P allocation and use strategies. Nitrogen addition (exacerbating P limitation) reduced the concentrations of leaf total P and different leaf P fractions. Nitrogen addition reduced the allocation to leaf metabolic P but increased the allocation to other fractions, while P addition showed opposite trends. The simultaneous additions of N and P showed an antagonistic (mutual suppression) effect on the concentrations of leaf P fractions, but an additive (summary) effect on the allocation proportions of leaf P fractions. These results highlight the importance of strategies of leaf P fraction allocation in forest plants under changes in environmental nutrient availability. Importantly, our study identified critical interactions associated with combined N and P inputs that affect leaf P fractions, thus aiding in predicting plant acclimation strategies in the context of intensifying and imbalanced anthropogenic nutrient inputs.

High-energy-density（HED） fuel（*** used JP-10 and RJ-4）,featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combustion heat can provide more propulsion *** reduce the reliance on petroleum source,it is highly desirable to develop renewable alternatives for the production of strained polycyclic HED fuel,but which remains a big challenge because of the inaccessibility caused by the high strain,We herein demonstrate a three-step catalytic route towards highly strained C17and C18spirofuel with biomass *** process includes catalytic aldol condensation of renewable cyclohexanone/cyclopentanone with benzaldehyde,catalytic spiro Diels-Alder（D-A） reaction of aldol adduct with isoprene,and catalytic *** key spiro D-A reaction is enabled by the catalysis of heterogeneous Lewis acidic ionic *** chloroaluminate IL,formed by benign urea and AICl3,exhibits good catalytic performance and reusability for this *** eventual hydrodeoxygenation（HDO）over Pd/C and H-Y produces strained tricyclic spirofuel with density>0.93 g/mL,combustion heat>41 MJ/L and freezing point <-40℃,which are better than the properties of tactical fuel ***,it is anticipated that the as-prepared renewable fuels have the potential to replace traditional petroleum-derived HED fuels.

A supramolecular assembly composed of perylene diimide derivative(PDI-nm)and nor-secocucurbit[10]uril(ns-Q[10])was *** excellent host-guest interaction between PDI-nm and nsQ[10]prevented the aggregation-caused quenching(ACQ)effect of PDI-nm,resulting in a luminescent *** addition of spermine to the PDI-nm/ns-Q[10]assembly restored the ACQ of PDI-nm due to the competitive binding of spermine to ns-Q[10],which released *** assembly based on this principle showed ultra-high sensitivity for the detection of spermine with a detection limit as low as7.84×10^(-7)mol/L in aqueous solution and 3.69×10^(-7)mol/L in plasma ***,an artificial light-harvesting system based on this assembly was proposed,benefiting from its good luminescent *** red(Ni R)functioned as an acceptor loaded into assembly,and a highly efficient energy transfer process occurred from PDI-nm/ns-Q[10]to Ni R,with an efficiency up to 87%.
