Privacy-Preserving Federated Deep Learning diagnostic Method for Multi-Stage diseases

diagnosing multi-stage diseases typically requires doctors to consider multiple data sources,including clinical symptoms,physical signs,biochemical test results,imaging findings,pathological examination data,and even genetic *** applying machine learning modeling to predict and diagnose multi-stage diseases,several challenges need to be ***,the model needs to handle multimodal data,as the data used by doctors for diagnosis includes image data,natural language data,and structured ***,privacy of patients’data needs to be protected,as these data contain the most sensitive and private ***,considering the practicality of the model,the computational requirements should not be too *** address these challenges,this paper proposes a privacy-preserving federated deep learning diagnostic method for multi-stage *** method improves the forward and backward propagation processes of deep neural network modeling algorithms and introduces a homomorphic encryption step to design a federated modeling algorithm without the need for an *** also utilizes dedicated integrated circuits to implement the hardware Paillier algorithm,providing accelerated support for homomorphic encryption in ***,this paper designs and conducts experiments to evaluate the proposed *** experimental results show that in privacy-preserving federated deep learning diagnostic modeling,the method in this paper achieves the same modeling performance as ordinary modeling without privacy protection,and has higher modeling speed compared to similar algorithms.

Methanotrophs,organisms that obtain oxygen by oxidizing methane,are recognized as the only known biological sink for atmospheric CH_4,and forest soil methanotrophs play crucial roles in mitigating global *** succession patterns of methanotrophic communities and functions in Wudalianchi volcano forest soils could provide a basis for the study of evolutionary mechanisms between soil microorganisms,the environment,and carbon cycling of temperate forest ecosystems under climate *** this study,the characteristics and drivers of methanotrophic community structure and function of two volcanic soils at different stages of development are analyzed,including an old volcano and a new volcano,which most recently erupted 300 years and 17-19×10^(5)years ago,respectively,and a non-volcano hills as control,based on space for time substitution and Miseq sequencing and bioinformation *** results showed that CH_(4) fluxes were significantly higher in old-stage volcano forest soils than new-stage forest soils and non-volcano forest *** were significant differences in the community composition and diversity of soil methanotrophs from different volcano forest *** was the dominant genus in all soil ***,the relative abundance of Methylococcus,along with Clonothrix,Methyloglobulus,Methylomagum,Methylomonas and Methylosarcina,were the important genera responsible for the differences in methanotrophic community structure in different volcano forest *** relative abundance of methanotroph belonging toγ-proteobacteria was significantly higher than that belonging toα-proteobacteria(Pdices of soil methanotrophic community were significantly lower in new-stage volcanos and were significantly affected by bulk density,total porosity,p H,nitrate,dissolved organic carbon and dissolved organic *** were significant differences in community structure between new-stage and old-stage volcano

Torque Limit-based Inertial Control Method Based on Delayed Support for Primary Frequency Control of Wind Turbines

To avoid the secondary frequency dip caused by the steep drop of the electrical power of wind turbines(WTs)at the end of frequency support stage,the torque limit-based iner-tial control(TLIC)method sets the power reference as a linear function of rotor speed,rather than the step form for the step-wise inertial ***,the compensation effect on the frequency nadir(FN)caused by the load surge is weakened as the TLIC power is no longer in the step ***,the maximum point of the frequency response component(FRC)contributed by TLIC occurs earlier than the minimum point of FRC corresponding to the load surge,so that the FN cannot be adequately ***,this paper first investigates the relation between the peak and nadir times of FRCs stimulated by the TLIC and load *** this basis,with the compensation principle of matching the peak and nadir times of FRCs,the improved TLIC method based on delayed support is ***,the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated via the experiments on the test bench of wind-integrated power system.

As some recent information security legislation endowed users with unconditional rights to be forgotten by any trained machine learning model,personalised IoT service pro-viders have to put unlearning functionality into their *** most straight-forward method to unlearn users'contribution is to retrain the model from the initial state,which is not realistic in high throughput applications with frequent unlearning *** some machine unlearning frameworks have been proposed to speed up the retraining process,they fail to match decentralised learning scenarios.A decentralised unlearning framework called heterogeneous decentralised unlearning framework with seed(HDUS)is designed,which uses distilled seed models to construct erasable en-sembles for all ***,the framework is compatible with heterogeneous on-device models,representing stronger scalability in real-world *** experiments on three real-world datasets show that our HDUS achieves state-of-the-art performance.

UBE2T mediates the stemness properties of breast cancer cells through the mTOR signaling pathway

Objectives:This study aimed to reveal the role and possible mechanism of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme 2T(UBE2T)in the biological activities of breast cancer stem cells(BCSCs).Methods:The specific protein and gene expression were quantified by Western blotting and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,the proportion of BCSCs was examined by flow cytometry,and the self-renewal and proliferation of BCSCs were verified by serial sphere formation and soft ***:Increasing expression of UBE2T was drastically found in breast cancer than that in adjacent ***,UBE2T overexpression significantly increased the proportion of BCSCs in breast cancer cells and promoted their self-renewal and *** UBE2T exhibited the opposite ***2T increased the levels of the mammalian target of rapamycin and the phosphorylated mammalian target of *** target of rapamycin(mTOR)inhibitor rapamycin inhibited the function of UBE2T in ***:UBE2T plays a role in BCSCs through mTOR pathway and may suggest a novel therapeutic strategy for breast cancer.

SEI/dead Li-turning capacity loss for high-performance anode-free solid-state lithium batteries

Anode-free solid-state lithium metal batteries(AF-SSLBs)have the potential to deliver higher energy density and improved safety beyond lithium-metal ***,the unclear mechanism for the fast capacity decay in AF-SSLBs,either determined by dead Li or solid electrolyte interface(SEI),limits the proposal of effective strategies to prolong cycling *** clarify the underlying mechanism,herein,the evolution of SEI and dead Li is quantitatively analyzed by a solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance(ss-NMR)technology in a typical LiPF6-based polymer *** results show that the initial capacity loss is attributed to the formation of SEI,while the dead Li dominates the following capacity loss and the growth rate is 0.141 mA h cm^(−2)cycle−*** reduce the active Li loss,the combination of inorganic-rich SEI and self-healing electrostatic shield effect is proposed to improve the reversibility of Li deposition/dissolution behavior,which reduces the capacity loss rate for the initial SEI and following dead Li generation by 2.3 and 20.1 folds,*** a result,the initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)and stable CE increase by 15.1%and 15.3%in Li-Cu cells,which guides the rational design of high-performance AF-SSLBs.

Improve Chinese Aspect Sentiment Quadruplet Prediction via Instruction Learning Based on Large Generate Models

Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis(ABSA)is a fundamental area of research in Natural Language Processing(NLP).Within ABSA,Aspect Sentiment Quad Prediction(ASQP)aims to accurately identify sentiment quadruplets in target sentences,including aspect terms,aspect categories,corresponding opinion terms,and sentiment ***,most existing research has focused on English ***,while ASQP has seen significant progress in English,the Chinese ASQP task has remained relatively *** inspiration from methods applied to English ASQP,we propose Chinese generation templates and employ prompt-based instruction learning to enhance the model’s understanding of the task,ultimately improving ASQP performance in the Chinese ***,under the same pre-training model configuration,our approach achieved a 5.79%improvement in the F1 score compared to the previously leading ***,when utilizing a larger model with reduced training parameters,the F1 score demonstrated an 8.14%***,we suggest a novel evaluation metric based on the characteristics of generative models,better-reflecting model *** results validate the effectiveness of our approach.

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)function as key modulators in mammalian immunity,particularly due to their involvement in lncRNA-mediated competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)*** their recognized significance in mammals,research on lncRNAs in lower vertebrates remains *** the present study,we characterized the first immune-related lncRNA(pol-lnc78)in the teleost Japanese flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).Results indicated that pol-lnc78 acted as a ceRNA for pol-miR-n199-3p to target the sterile alpha and armadillo motif-containing protein(SARM),the fifth discovered member of the Toll/interleukin 1(IL-1)receptor(TIR)adaptor *** ceRNA network regulated the antibacterial responses of flounder via the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling ***,SARM acted as a negative regulator and exacerbated bacterial infection by inhibiting the expression of inflammatory cytokines IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Pol-miR-n199-3p reduced SARM expression by specifically interacting with the 3’untranslated region(UTR),thereby promoting SARM-dependent inflammatory cytokine expression and protecting the host against bacterial ***,pol-lnc78 sponged pol-miR-n199-3p to ameliorate the inhibition of SARM *** infection,the negative regulators pol-lnc78 and SARM were significantly down-regulated,while pol-miR-n199-3p was significantly up-regulated,thus favoring host antibacterial *** findings provide novel insights into the mechanisms underlying fish immunity and open new horizons to better understand ceRNA crosstalk in lower vertebrates.

Flashover Characteristics of Dry Band-water band on Hydrophobic Surfaces

Due to their outstanding anti-flashover characteristics,composite insulators have been extensively applied in power systems.A lot of research has investigated flashover characteristics of hydrophobic specimens with artificial water ***,the phenomenon is not consistent with that of the contaminated composite *** the test specimens covered with water droplets,there is no obvious leakage current before the flashover and no obvious relationship between flashover voltage and the conductivity of water *** the contaminated composite insulator surface,there are short continuous arcs on the insulators before critical flashover,making insulators look like a luminous *** that under these two conditions,the proportion of water along the insulation distance is different,the flashover characteristic of“dry band-water band”on a hydrophobicity surface is analyzed in the present *** influence of the water band parameter(including length,width,and conductivity)as well as the length of dry band is *** this basis,the arc generation and development process of the surface covered with“dry band-water band”is *** research results improve the understanding of the flashover process on contaminated composite insulators.
