Microscale zero-valent iron(mZVI)has shown great potential for groundwater Cr(Ⅵ)***,low Cr(Ⅵ)removal capacity caused by passivation restricted the wide use of *** prepared mZVI/GCS by encapsulating mZVI in a porous glutaraldehydecrosslinked chitosan matrix,and the formation of the passivation layer was alleviated by reducing the contact between zero-valent iron *** average pore diameter of mZVI/GCS was 8.775 nm,which confirmed the mesoporous characteristic of this *** of batch experiments demonstrated that mZVI/GCS exhibited high Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency in a wide range of pH(2-10)and temperature(5-35℃).Common groundwater coexisting ions slightly affected m ZVI/*** material showed great reusability,and the average Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency was 90.41%during eight *** this study,we also conducted kinetics and isotherms ***-second-order model was the most matched kinetics *** Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption process was fitted by both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms models,and the maximum Langmuir adsorption capacity of m ZVI/GCS reached243.63 mg/g,which is higher than the adsorption capacities of materials reported in most of the previous ***,the column capacity for Cr(Ⅵ)removal of a mZVI/GCS-packed column was 6.4 times higher than that of a mZVI-packed column in a 50-day ***,mZVI/GCS with a porous structure effectively relieved passivation problems of mZVI and showed practical application prospects as groundwater Cr(Ⅵ)remediation material with practical application prospects.

The nucleus of Darkschewitsch(ND), mainly composed of GABAergic neurons, is widely recognized as a component of the eye-movement controlling system. However, the functional contribution of ND GABAergic neurons(NDGABA) in animal behavior is largely unknown. Here, we show that NDGABA neurons were selectively activated by different types of fear stimuli, such as predator odor and foot *** and chemogenetic manipulations revealed that NDGABA neurons mediate freezing ***, using circuit-based optogenetic and neuroanatomical tracing methods, we identified an excitatory pathway from the lateral periaqueductal gray(l PAG) to the ND that induces freezing by exciting ND inhibitory outputs to the motor-related gigantocellular reticular nucleus, ventral part(Gi V). Together,these findings indicate the NDGABA population as a novel hub for controlling defensive response by relaying fearful information from the l PAG to Gi V, a mechanism critical for understanding how the freezing behavior is encoded in the mammalian brain.

Statistical distribution of nonlinear random wave height in shallow water

The study applies ASTER imagery for lithologic mapping in Nianqu,Gaize,Tibet,which is a part of the west segment of the Bang *** to the mineralogy and lithology of the study area,spectral characteristic of the rock-forming minerals and alteration minerals are *** resampling the characteristic spectra in to the ASTER spectral resolution,pertinent image processing methods are used to extract the diagnostic features of respective *** results show that the methods and procedures described in this study is applicable to other relevant areas of the Bangong suture.

Here we present a statistical model of random wave,using Stokes wave theory of water wave dynamics,as well as a new nonlinear probability distribution function of wave height in shallow *** is more physically logical to use the wave steepness of shallow water and the factor of shallow water as the parameters in the wave height *** results indicate that the two parameters not only could be parameters of the distribution function of wave height but also could reflect the degree of wave height distribution deviation from the Rayleigh *** new wave height distribution overcomes the problem of Rayleigh distribution that the prediction of big wave is overestimated and the general wave is *** prediction of small probability wave height value of new distribution is also smaller than that of Rayleigh *** effect of wave steepness in shallow water is similar to that in deep water;but the factor of shallow water lowers the wave height distribution of the general wave with the reduced factor of wave *** also makes the wave height distribution of shallow water more *** results indicate that the new distribution fits the in situ measurements much better than other distributions.

Active metasurfaces with dynamically reconfigurable functionalities are highly demanded in various practical ***,we propose a wideband low-scattering metasurface that can realize an in-band reconfigurable transparent window by altering the operation states of the PIN diodes loaded on the *** metasurface is composed of a band-pass frequency selective surface(FSS)sandwiched between two polarization conversion metasurfaces(PCMs).PIN diodes are integrated into the FSS to switch the transparent window,while a checkerboard configuration is applied in PCMs for the diffusive-reflective function.A sample with 20×20 elements is designed,fabricated,and experimentally *** simulated and measured results show that the in-band functions can be dynamically switched between beam-splitting scattering and high transmission by controlling the biasing states of the diodes,while low backscattering can be attained outside the ***,the resonant structures of FSS also play the role of feeding lines,thus significantly eliminating extra interference compared with conventional feeding *** envision that the proposed metasurface may provide new possibilities for the development of an intelligent stealth platform and its antenna applications.

采空区煤体自燃严重制约煤矿的安全高效生产,而放顶煤开采后采空区内存在大量遗煤和松散煤柱。本文以云冈矿8633工作面回采时采空区残煤易发生自燃的问题为研究对象,通过钻孔设计,应用注氮系统实施井上下联合注氮。至注氮30日时,井上下共注氮984.4 t,启封工作面推进后,采空区内CO浓度维持在24×10;及以下,实现了工作面的安全高效开采。
