Developing efficient and durable hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts is one of the most important issues for the commercialization of seawater electrolysis,but it remains ***,we report a CeO_(2)-CoP nanoneedle array catalyst loaded on Ti mesh(CeO_(2)-CoP/TM)with workfunction-induced directional charge transport *** CeO_(2)-CoP/TM catalyst showed superior HER catalytic activity and stability,with over potentials of 41 and 60 mV to attain 10 mA cm^(-2),in 1 M KOH and 1 M KOH+seawater electrolyte,*** results and theoretical calculations reveal that the work function drives the charge transfer from CeO_(2)to CoP,which effectively balances the electronic density of CoP and CeO_(2),optimizes the d-band center,and accelerates the water activation kinetics,thus enhancing the HER *** solar-driven water electrolysis device displays a high and stable solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of 19.6%.This study offers a work function-induced directional charge transport strategy to design efficient and durable catalysts for hydrogen production.

Geometrical configurations play a crucial role in dual-atom catalysts(DACs)for electrocatalytic *** progress has been made to design DACs electrocatalysts with various geometri-cal configurations,but in-depth understanding the relationship between geometrical configurations and metal-metal interaction mechanisms for designing targeted DACs is still *** this review,the recent progress in engineering of geometrical configurations of DACs is systematically *** on the polarity of geometrical configuration,DACs can be classified into two different types that are homonuclear and heteronuclear ***,with regard to the geometrical configurations of the active sites,homonuclear DACs are identified into adjacent and bridged configurations,and heteronuclear DACs can be classified into adjacent,bridged,and separated ***,metal-metal interactions in DACs with different geometrical configurations are ***,the applications of DACs in different electrocatalytic reactions are discussed,including the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),oxygen evolution reaction(OER),hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),and other ***,the future challenges and perspectives for advancements in DACs are *** review aims to provide inspiration for the design of highly effcient DACs towards energy relatedapplications.

Text perception is crucial for understanding the semantics of outdoor scenes,making it a key requirement for building intelligent systems for driver assistance or autonomous *** information in car-mounted videos can assist drivers in making ***,Car-mounted video text images pose challenges such as complex backgrounds,small fonts,and the need for real-time *** proposed a robust Car-mounted Video Text Detector(CVTD).It is a lightweight text detection model based on ResNet18 for feature extraction,capable of detecting text in arbitrary *** model efficiently extracted global text positions through the Coordinate Attention Threshold Activation(CATA)and enhanced the representation capability through stacking two Feature Pyramid Enhancement Fusion Modules(FPEFM),strengthening feature representation,and integrating text local features and global position information,reinforcing the representation capability of the CVTD *** enhanced feature maps,when acted upon by Text Activation Maps(TAM),effectively distinguished text foreground from non-text ***,we collected and annotated a dataset containing 2200 images of Car-mounted Video Text(CVT)under various road conditions for training and evaluating our model’s *** further tested our model on four other challenging public natural scene text detection benchmark datasets,demonstrating its strong generalization ability and real-time detection *** model holds potential for practical applications in real-world scenarios.

Stiffened structures have great potential for improvingmechanical performance,and the study of their stability is of great *** this paper,the optimization of the critical buckling load factor for curved grid stiffeners is solved by using the level set based density method,where the shape and cross section(including thickness and width)of the stiffeners can be optimized *** grid stiffeners are a combination ofmany single stiffenerswhich are projected by the corresponding level set *** thickness and width of each stiffener are designed to be independent variables in the projection applied to each level set ***,the path of each single stiffener is described by the zero iso-contour of the level set *** the single stiffeners are combined together by using the p-norm method to obtain the stiffener *** proposed method is validated by several numerical examples to optimize the critical buckling load factor.

Introduction:Detecting poliovirus infections proves to be highly challenging due to their asymptomatic nature and infectious potential,highlighting the crucial importance of effective detection methods in the context of polio eradication *** many countries,including China,the primary approach for identifying polio outbreaks has been through acute flaccid paralysis(AFP)*** this study,we conducted an evaluation spanning three decades(1993–2022)to assess the effectiveness of AFP surveillance in ***:Data on all AFP cases identified since 1993 and national-level AFP surveillance system quality indicators aligned with the World Health Organization(WHO)standards were collected for *** quality indicators assess surveillance sensitivity,completeness,timeliness of detection notification,case investigation,and laboratory *** sensitivity is determined by the non-polio AFP(NPAFP)detection rate among children under 15 years of ***:Between 1993 and 2022,a total of 150,779 AFP cases were identified and *** this pool,surveillance identified 95 cases of wild poliovirus(WPV)and 24 cases due to vaccinederived *** 1995 onwards,the detection rate of NPAFP cases consistently adhered to the WHO and national standards of≥1 case per 100,000,falling between 1.38 and *** in 1997,all timeliness indicators consistently achieved the criteria of 80%,apart from the consistency in meeting standards set for the rate of positive specimens sent to the national ***:AFP surveillance has been instrumental in China’s accomplishment of maintaining a polio-free *** ongoing adherence to key performance indicators,ensuring sensitivity and prompt specimen collection,demonstrates that AFP surveillance is proficient in detecting poliovirus in *** we move into the post-eradication phase,AFP surveillance remains crucial for the sustained absence of polioviruses in the long term.

In current dual porosity/permeability models,there exists a fundamental assumption that the adsorption-induced swelling is distributed uniformly within the representative elementary volume (REV),irrespective of its internal structures and transient ***,both internal structures and transient processes can lead to the non-uniform *** this study,we hypothesize that the non-uniform swelling is responsible for why coal permeability in experimental measurements is not only controlled by the effective stress but also is affected by the adsorption-induced *** propose a concept of the swelling triangle composed of swelling paths to characterize the evolution of the non-uniform swelling and serve as a core link in coupled multiphysics.A swelling path is determined by a dimensionless volumetric ratio and a dimensionless swelling *** swelling paths have the same start and end point,and each swelling path represents a unique swelling *** swelling path as the diagonal of the triangle represents the case of the uniform swelling while that as the two perpendicular boundaries represents the case of the localized *** paths of all intermediate cases populate inside the *** corresponding relations between the swelling path and the response of coal multiphysics are established by a non-uniform swelling *** define this method as the triangle approach and corresponding models as swelling path-based *** proposed concept and models are verified against a long-term experimental measurement of permeability and strains under constant effective *** results demonstrate that during gas injection,coal multiphysics responses have a close dependence on the swelling path,and that in both future experiments and field predictions,this dependence must be considered.

Depth estimation is an important task in computer *** data at scale for monocular depth estimation is challenging,as this task requires simultaneously capturing RGB images and depth ***,data augmentation is crucial for this *** data augmentationmethods often employ pixel-wise transformations,whichmay inadvertently disrupt edge *** this paper,we propose a data augmentationmethod formonocular depth estimation,which we refer to as the Perpendicular-Cutdepth *** method involves cutting realworld depth maps along perpendicular directions and pasting them onto input images,thereby diversifying the data without compromising edge *** validate the effectiveness of the algorithm,we compared it with existing convolutional neural network(CNN)against the current mainstream data augmentation ***,to verify the algorithm’s applicability to Transformer networks,we designed an encoder-decoder network structure based on Transformer to assess the generalization of our proposed *** results demonstrate that,in the field of monocular depth estimation,our proposed method,Perpendicular-Cutdepth,outperforms traditional data *** the indoor dataset NYU,our method increases accuracy from0.900 to 0.907 and reduces the error rate from0.357 to *** the outdoor dataset KITTI,our method improves accuracy from 0.9638 to 0.9642 and decreases the error rate from 0.060 to 0.0598.

Background In the modern sheep production systems,the reproductive performance of ewes determines the economic profitability of *** the genetic mechanisms underlying differences in the litter size is important for the selection and breeding of highly prolific *** sheep,a high-quality Chinese sheep breed,is known for its high fecundity and is often used as a model to study prolificacy *** the current study,animals were divided into two groups according to their delivery rates in three consecutive lambing seasons(namely,the high and low reproductive groups with≥3 lambs and one lamb per season,n=3,respectively).The ewes were slaughtered within 12 h of estrus,and unilateral ovarian tissues were collected and analyzed by 10×Genomics single-cell RNA *** A total of 5 types of somatic cells were identified and corresponding expression profiles were mapped in the ovaries of each ***,the differences in the ovary somatic cell expression profiles between the high and low reproductive groups were mainly clustered in the granulosa ***,four granulosa cell subtypes were *** analysis revealed that the abundance of JPH1 expression and the reduction of LOC101112291 expression could lead to different evolutionary directions of the granulosa ***,the expression levels of FTH1 and FTL in mural granulosa cells of the highly reproductive group were significantly *** genes inhibit necroptosis and ferroptosis of mural granulosa cells,which helps prevent follicular *** This study provides insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the high fecundity of Hu *** differences in gene expression profiles,particularly in the granulosa cells,suggest that these cells play a critical role in female *** findings also highlight the importance of genes such as JPH1,LOC101112291,FTH1,and FTL in regulating granulosa cell function and follicular development.
