Urban floods are becoming increasingly more frequent,which has led to tremendous economic *** application of inundation modeling to predict and simulate urban flooding is an effective approach for disaster prevention and risk reduction,while also addressing the uncertainty problem in the model is always a challenging *** this study,a cellular automaton(CA)-based model combining a storm water management model(SWMM)and a weighted cellular automata 2D inundation model was applied and a physical-based model(LISFLOOD-FP)was also coupled with SWMM for *** simulation performance and the uncertainty factors of the coupled model were systematically *** results show that the CA-based model can achieve sufficient accuracy and higher computational efficiency than can a physical-based *** resolution of terrain and rainstorm data had a strong influence on the performance of the CA-based model,and the simulations would be less creditable when using the input data with a terrain resolution lower than 15 m and a recorded interval of rainfall greater than 30 *** roughness value and model type showed limited impacts on the change of inundation depth and occurrence of the peak inundation ***,the CA-based coupled model demonstrated laudable applicability and can be recommended for fast simulation of urban flood *** study also can provide references and implications for reducing uncertainty when constructing a CA-based coupled model.

Graphene derivatives,possessing strong Raman scattering and near-infrared absorption intrin-sically,have boosted many exciting biosensing *** tunability of the absorption characteristics,however,remains largely unexplored to ***,we proposed a multilayer configuration constructed by a graphene monolayer sandwiched between a buffer layer and one-dimensional photonic crystal(1DPC)to achieve tunable graphene absorption under total in-ternal reflection(TIR).It is interesting that the unique optical properties of the buffer-graphene-1DPC multilayer structure,the electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)-like and Fano-like absorptions,can be achieved with pre-determined resonance wavelengths,and furtherly be tuned by adjusting either the structure parameters or the incident angle of *** analyses demonstrate that such EIT-and Fano-like absorptions are due to the interference of light in the multilayer structure and the complete transmission produced by the evanescent wave resonance in the *** enhanced absorptions and the huge electrical field en-hancement effect exhibit potentials for broad applications,such as photoacoustic imaging and Raman imaging.

Here,we study the controllable optical responses in a two-cavity optomechanical system,especially on the perfect optomechanically induced transparency(OMIT)in the model which has never been studied *** results show that the perfect OMIT can still occur even with a large mechanical damping rate,and at the perfect transparency window the long-lived slow light can be *** addition,we find that the conversion between the perfect OMIT and optomechanically induced absorption can be easily achieved just by adjusting the driving field strength of the second *** believe that the results can be used to control optical transmission in modern optical networks.

Microwave-induced nitrogen-doped titanate nanotubes（NTNTs） were characterized by transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）, Zeta potential analysis,specific surface area（SBET）, and UV-Visible spectroscopy. TEM results indicate that NTNTs retain a tubular structure with a crystalline multiwall and have a length of several hundred nanometers after nitrogen doping. XRD findings demonstrate that the crystalline structure of NTNTs was dominated by anatase, which is favored for photocatalytic application. The Ti-O-N linkage observed in the XPS N 1s spectrum is mainly responsible for narrowing the band gap and eventually enhancing the visible light photoactivity. FT-IR results demonstrated the existence of H3O＋, which could be excited by photo-generated holes to form hydroxyl radicals and degrade environmental pollutants. After sintering at 350°C, the UV-Vis absorbance edges of NTNTs significantly shift to the visible-light region, which indicates N atom doping into the nanotubes. Photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B（RhB） via NTNTs show good efficiency, with pseudo first-order kinetic model rate constants of 3.7 × 10-3, 2.4 × 10-3and 8.0 × 10-4sec-1at pH 3, 7, and 11, respectively.

No. 5 coal seam in Huating Coal Mine is a deep-seated, steep-inclined extra-thick coal seam where excavation disturbance is quite frequent. The maximum and minimum principal stresses differ widely. During mining, dynamical destabilization happens frequently and induce tragedies. Based on the comparison between the acoustic emission （AE） experiment on dynamical destabilization of coal rock and the related in situ testing results, this article provides comprehensive analysis on the regular quantificational AE patterns （energy rate, total events） of coal rock destabilization in complex-variable environment. The comparison parameters include dynamic tension energy rate, deformation resistance to compression, and shear stress.

The paper concerns with the relationship between cavitation inception andSound Pressure Level (SPL). A case study for the Xiaolangdi Hydro-project was taken as a typicalexample, which demonstrated the standard criterion of SPL indicating cavitation *** inception of an orifice plate used for energy dissipation in a tunnel spillway waswitnessed and verified both in model test and prototype observation. A design criterion was proposedfor a cavitation-free hydraulic structure which can be served as a reference for designers as wellas researchers. Consequently, scale effects were discussed with an aim at suggesting an appropriatefactor of safety in design.

The variations in source rocks and melting conditions of granites can provide essential clues for the crustal magmatic response in orogenic *** on geochronology,whole-rock and mineral chemistry,this paper reveals two different granites in the Northern Qinling migmatite complex,which reveal obvious differences in source region and melting *** older granodiorite(402±0.8 Ma)displays typical Na-rich adakite affinity,i.e.,high Na_(2)O/K_(2)O(2.04 to 2.64)and Sr/Y(96 to 117)ratios,they have relative evolved isotopic compositions(ε_(Nd)(t)=-0.52 to-0.04;zirconε_(Hf)(t)=-0.06 to+7.78).The younger leucogranite(371±2 Ma)displays higher SiO_(2)(72.32 to 73.45 wt%),lower(TFeO+MgO+CaO+TiO_(2))contents(<2 wt%)and depleted Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic compositions(i.e.,ε_(Nd)(t)=+2.6 to+3.0;zirconε_(Hf)(t)=+5.94 to+14.12),as well as high 10000×Ga/Al and TFe O/Mg O ratios,indicating that they represent highly fractionated I-type granites that derived from melting of juvenile *** variations in source rocks and melting condition of the two granites indicating a tectonic switch from compression to extension in 400 to 370 Ma,this switch is later than that in the eastern section of the North Qinling,indicating a scissor collision process between the South Qinling and North China Craton(NCC)in Devonian era.

The occurrence of the first significant digits from real world sources is usually not equally distributed,but is consistent with a logarithmic distribution instead,known as Benford’s *** this work,we perform a comprehensive investigation on the first digit distributions of the duration,fluence,and energy flux of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) for the first *** a complete GRB sample detected by the Fermi satellite,we find that the first digits of the duration and fluence adhere to Benford’s ***,the energy flux shows a significant departure from this law,which may be due to the fact that a considerable part of the energy flux measurements is restricted by lack of spectral *** on the conventional duration classification scheme,we also check if the durations and fluences of long and short GRBs (with duration T_(90)>2 s and T_(90)≤2 s,respectively) obey Benford’s *** find that the fluences of both long and short GRBs still agree with the Benford distribution,but their durations do not follow Benford’s *** results hint that the long–short GRB classification scheme does not directly represent the intrinsic physical classification scheme.

Serine/arginine-rich splicing factors(SRSFs)refer to twelve RNA-binding proteins which regulate splice site recognition and spliceosome assembly during precursor messenger RNA *** also participate in other RNA metabolic events,such as transcription,translation and nonsensemediated decay,during their shuttling between nucleus and cytoplasm,making them indispensable for genome diversity and cellular *** note,aberrant SRSF expression and/or mutations elicit fallacies in gene splicing,leading to the generation of pathogenic gene and protein isoforms,which highlights the therapeutic potential of targeting SRSF to treat *** this review,we updated current understanding of SRSF structures and functions in RNA ***,we analyzed SRSF-induced aberrant gene expression and their pathogenic outcomes in cancers and non-tumor *** development of some well-characterized SRSF inhibitors was discussed in *** hope this review will contribute to future studies of SRSF functions and drug development targeting SRSFs.
