Metabolic network construction plays a pivotal role in unraveling the regulatory mechanism of biological activities,although it often proves to be challenging and labor-intensive,particularly with non-model *** this study,we develop a computational approach that employs reaction models based on the structure-guided chemical modification and related compounds to construct a metabolic network in *** construction results in a comprehensive structure-guided network,including 625 identified metabolites and additional 333 putative reactions compared with the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes *** a combination of gene annotation,reaction classification,structure similarity,and correlations from transcriptome and metabolome analysis,a total of 229 potential genes related to these reactions are identified within this *** validate the network,the functionality of a hydroxycinnamoyltransferase(TraesCS3D01G314900)for the synthesis of polyphenols and a rhamnosyltransferase(TraesCS2D01G078700)for the modification of flavonoids are verified through in vitro enzymatic studies and wheat mutant tests,*** research thus supports the utility of structure-guided chemical modification as an effective tool in identifying causal candidate genes for constructing metabolic networks and further in metabolomic genetic studies.

With the continuous advancement of communication technology,the escalating demand for electromagnetic shielding interference(EMI)materials with multifunctional and wideband EMI performance has become *** the electrical and magnetic components and designing the EMI material structure have attracted extensive interest,but remain a huge ***,we reported the alternating electromagnetic structure composite films composed of hollow metal-organic frameworks/layered MXene/nanocellulose(HMN)by alternating vacuum-assisted filtration *** HMN composite films exhibit excellent EMI shielding effectiveness performance in the GHz frequency(66.8 dB at Kaband)and THz frequency(114.6 dB at 0.1-4.0 THz).Besides,the HMN composite films also exhibit a high reflection loss of 39.7 dB at 0.7 THz with an effective absorption bandwidth up to 2.1 ***,HMN composite films show remarkable photothermal conversion performance,which can reach 104.6℃under 2.0 Sun and 235.4℃under 0.8 W cm^(−2),*** unique micro-and macrostructural design structures will absorb more incident electromagnetic waves via interfacial polarization/multiple scattering and produce more heat energy via the local surface plasmon resonance *** features make the HMN composite film a promising candidate for advanced EMI devices for future 6G communication and the protection of electronic equipment in cold environments.

In recent years,biochar has attracted considerable attention for soil quality improvement and carbon sequestration due to its unique physicochemical ***,the mechanism by which biochar application negatively affects the growth of crop seedlings has not been fully *** this study,a hydroponic experiment was conducted to evaluate the response of rice,wheat,and corn seedlings to biochar application(CK,0 g/L;BC1,0.5 g/L;and BC2,1.0 g/L).Compared with the CK treatment,the BC1 and BC2 treatments decreased the fresh shoot and root weights of rice and corn seedlings(P0.05).For the contents of nutrient elements in seedlings,both BC1 and BC2 treatments hindered the roots from absorbing Fe and Cu and increased the uptake of Ca and *** with the CK treatment,the translocation factor(TF)values of Ca,Mn,and Zn were significantly decreased especially in rice seedlings(35.3%-36.8%,68.7%-76.5%,and 29.8%-22.0%,respectively)under the BC1 and BC2 treatments,while only Mn was significantly decreased in wheat and corn seedlings(P<0.05).Transmission electron microscope(TEM)analysis of root cross-sections showed that nano-sized biochar particles(10~23 nm)were found in the root cells under BC2 treatment *** findings reveal that a large amount of biochar application can reduce nutrient absorption and translocation,and hinder rice,wheat,and corn seedlings,particularly rice seedling,in hydroponic system.

In the diagnosis of severe contagious diseases such as Ebola,severe acute respiratory syndrome,and COVID-19,there is an urgent need for protein sensors with large refractive index *** terahertz metamaterials cannot be used to develop such protein sensors due to their low refractive index sensitivities.A simple method is proposed that is compatible with all geometrical structures of terahertz metamaterials to increase their refractive index *** method uses patterned photoresist to float the split-ring resonators(SRRs)of a terahertz metamaterial at a height of 30μm from its substrate that is deposited with complementary *** floating terahertz metamaterial has an extremely large refractive index sensitivity of 532 GHz/RIU because its near field is not distributed over the substrate and also because the complementary SRRs confine the field above the *** floating terahertz metamaterial senses bovine serum albumin(BSA)and the protein binding of BSA and anti-BSA as BSA,and anti-BSA solutions with low concentrations that are smaller than 0.150μmol/L are sequentially dropped onto *** floating terahertz metamaterial is a great achievement to develop protein sensors with extremely large refractive index sensitivities,and has the potential to sense dangerous viruses.

Hydrogen-powered electric aircraft have attracted significant interests aiming to achieve decarbonization *** DC electric networks are facing great challenges in DC fault protection *** interrupters are widely used in low voltage and medium voltage power systems due to being environmentally friendly with low *** this paper a moving coil actuator with compensation coils for a vacuum interrupter,as part of a hybrid direct current circuit breaker,is designed and experimentally *** coils are used to improve operating speed compared with original moving coil *** between four possible connections of compensation coils and original moving coil actuator are carried *** results show comparisons between different connections of actuator coils in terms of opening time and coil current with a range of pre-charged capacitor *** performance of each actuator connection is also *** actuator with compensation coils is shown to have a higher current rising rate and achieve faster opening speed,which is a critical requirement for electric aircraft network *** parallel connection actuator achieves the highest opening speed within 3.5 ms with capacitor voltage of 50 V.

The development of highly selective,cost-effective,and energy-efficient electrocatalysts is critical for carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to produce high-value ***,we propose a facile strategy to obtain F,N co-doped carbon-coated iron carbide(Fe3C)nanoparticles by using biomolecule guanine and hexadecafluorophthalocyanine iron as raw ***,this method involves only one-step pyrolysis and does not require any guiding agent or sacrificial *** from the advantageous surface microenvironment adjustments achieved through graphitic N(GN)and F co-doping,Fe3C@NF-G-1000 demonstrates exceptional efficacy in the electroreduction of CO_(2)to carbon monoxide(CO)with an impressive Faradic efficiency(FEco)up to 98%at the potential of−0.55 V(*** hydrogen electrode(RHE)).Furthermore,it delivers a remarkable current density of up to−43 mA·cm^(−2)and exhibits virtually no current attenuation over a span of 20 h within the flow *** from density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the composite structure of GN and F co-doped graphitic layer and Fe3C exhibits different electron density distributions from that of iron carbide *** is attributed to the synergistic effect of the composite structure leading to the enrichment of electrons in the graphite layer on the surface,which contributes to the stability of the key reaction intermediate*COOH,thus,resulting in an enhanced catalytic activity and ***,this work introduces a new and promising approach to the design of green and low-cost carbon-coated metal materials for CO_(2)reduction reactions.

The emergence of new display devices,such as organic light-emitting diodes,has brought about numerous advantages,including high material utilization,low cost,and high *** devices are manufactured using inkjet printing and possess the potential to become a key technology for display ***,a challenge in achieving this is the display effect that reveals uneven brightness and darkness,which can be avoided by controlling the volume of ink solution in a pixel to within 5%.Currently,the volume difference among the nozzles of commercial printheads does not meet the requirements for volume uniformity,thus challenging the printing ***,designing a suitable printing method that allows for the fusion of different volumes of ink droplets,ultimately reducing the error of the post fusion process,is *** this study,we propose a print display droplet fusion scheduling method comprising two main ***,we use a dichotomous trust domain algorithm to obtain a feasible range of printhead docking point spacings for different nozzle and pixel panel ***,we model the printing process as a droplet fusion scheduling model based on mixed integer programming,with the optimization objective of achieving intra pixel volume uniformity via ensuring the volume uniformity of ink droplets within all *** verified this method through numerical simulations and printing experiments using 394 pixels per inch(ppi)pixel panels and successfully reduced the volume uniformity error among pixels to within 5%.

To generate dance that temporally and aesthetically matches the music is a challenging problem in three ***,the generated motion should be beats-aligned to the local musical ***,the global aesthetic style should be matched between motion and *** third,the generated motion should be diverse and *** address these challenges,we propose ReChoreoNet,which re-choreographs high-quality dance motion for a given piece of music.A data-driven learning strategy is proposed to efficiently correlate the temporal connections between music and motion in a progressively learned cross-modality embedding *** beats-aligned content motion will be subsequently used as autoregressive context and control signal to control a normalizing-flow model,which transfers the style of a prototype motion to the final generated *** addition,we present an aesthetically labelled music-dance repertoire(MDR)for both efficient learning of the cross-modality embedding,and understanding of the aesthetic connections between music and *** demonstrate that our repertoire-based framework is robustly extensible in both content and *** quantitative and qualitative experiments have been carried out to validate the efficiency of our proposed model.

Energy transformation is imminent,and hydrogen energy is one of the important new energy *** of the keys to increasing the rate of hydrogen evolution during electrolysis is the use of high-performance catalysts for oxygen evolution reactions(OER).Single-atom alloys(SAAs)have garnered significant attention because they partially reduce costs and combine the advantages of both single-atom catalysts(SACs)and alloy ***,an efficient pyrolysis strategy based on a mixing and drying process is designed to anchor ultra-small Co cluster particles,combined with Ru single atoms dispersed on nitrogen-doped ultra-thin carbon nanosheets(Ru_(1)Co SAA/NC).The prepared electrocatalyst exhibits superior OER activity and superb stability,demonstrating an overpotential of 238 mV for OER with a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) in 0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4).And we also utilized in-situ XAS to detect the oxidation state of Ru sites during *** in all,this method achieves cost reductions and efficiency improvements through the design of SAAs,offering new prospects for the structural transformation of clean energy.
