This study aimed to investigate the number of amino methyl isoxazole propionic acid （AMPA） receptors and production of endogenous neural stem cells in the SOD1 G93AG1H transgenic mouse model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, at postnatal day 60 following administration of basic fibroblast growth factor （FGF-2）. A radioligand binding assay and immunohistochemistry were used to estimate the number of AMPA receptors and endogenous neural stem cells respectively. Results showed that the number of AMPA receptors and endogenous neural stem cells in the brain stem and sensorimotor cortex were significantly increased, while motor function was significantly decreased at postnatal days 90 and 120. After administration of FGF-2 into mice, numbers of endogenous neural stem cells increased, while expression of AMPA receptors decreased, whilst motor functions were recovered. At postnatal day 120, the number of AMPA receptors was negatively correlated with the number of endogenous neural stem cells in model mice and FGF-2-treated mice. Our experimental findings indicate that FGF-2 can inhibit AMPA receptors and increase the number of endogenous neural stem cells, thus repairing neural injury in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis mice.

Objective To investigate the antipyretic effect of Eupatorium chinense and its mechanism. Methods The content of arginine vasopressin（AVP） in ventral septal area（VSA） and blood plasma, and cyclic adenosine monophosphate（c AMP） levels of hypothalamus and blood plasma were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results The body temperature（Tb） was decreased at 1 h after administration of E. chinense（3 and 6 g/kg） and Aspirin（0.3 g/kg） respectively, which was significantly different from the temperature of fever model group. The antipyretic effect of Aspirin and E. chinense lasted for longer time. Aspirin（0.3 g/kg） and E. chinense（3 and 6 g/kg）reduced the level of cA MP in hypothalamus of fever rats and increased AVP content in plasma. The changes in c AMP content in plasma of all drug treatment groups were not obvious. Conclusion E. chinense has strong antipyretic effect and may affect the production of AVP and c AMP in fever rats.

RNA interference(RNAi)is a powerful tool that post-transcriptionally silences target genes in eukaryotic ***,silencing efficacy varies greatly among different insect ***,we met with little success when attempting to knock down genes in the mirid bug Apolygus lucorum via dsRNA *** disappearance of double-stranded RNA(dsRNA)could be a potential factor that restricts RNAi ***,we found that dsRNA can be degraded in midgut fluids,and a dsRNase of ***(AldsRNase)was identified and *** alignment indicated that its 6 key amino acid residues and the Mg2+-binding site were similar to those of other insects’*** signal peptide and endonuclease non-specific domain shared high sequence identity with the brown-winged green stinkbug Plautia stali *** showed high salivary gland and midgut expression and was continuously expressed through the whole life cycle,with peaks at the 4th instar ecdysis in the whole *** purified AldsRNase protein obtained by heterologously expressed can rapidly degrade *** comparing the substrate specificity of AldsRNase,3 specific substrates(dsRNA,small interfering RNA,and dsDNA)were all degraded,and the most efficient degradation is ***,immunofluorescence revealed that AldsRNase was expressed in the cytoplasm of midgut *** cloning and functional study of AldsRNase,the enzyme activity and substrate specificity of the recombinant protein,as well as the subcellular localization of nuclease,the reason for the disappearance of dsRNA was explained,which was useful in improving RNAi efficiency in *** and related species.

Non-Hermitian dynamics exhibits a wealth of surprising and potentially useful ***,it is typically realized by coupling a system with thermal reservoirs,which makes the system suffer from thermal fluctuations associated with the ***,we propose a dissipation-free approach to realize non-Hermitian dynamics using a superconducting circuit composed of two resonators and a superconducting *** non-Hermiticity arises in the dynamical matrix for the evolution of the two resonators in the Heisenberg picture,via a photon-number non-conserved *** energy spectrum of the non-Hermitian dynamical matrix can be retrieved by measuring the state of the two resonators,and a phase transition of the energy spectrum can be observed by varying the control *** the realization of the non-Hermitian dynamics,the dissipation of the system and the post-selection are not ***,the approach is implemented in a deterministic way,and the reservoir-induced noise is *** simulations indicate that the energy spectrum of the non-Hermitian dynamical matrix obtained via the measurement of the resonators is in accordance with the theoretical ***,we demonstrate the parity discrimination for the state of two four-level qudits as an application,exhibiting the potential of the non-Hermitian dynamics in the field of quantum *** work opens a new avenue for the realization of non-Hermitian dynamics and may have a significant implication in exploring the non-Hermitian phenomena.

Precise polyp segmentation is vital for the early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer(CRC)in clinical ***,due to scale variation and blurry polyp boundaries,it is still a challenging task to achieve satisfactory segmentation performance with different scales and *** this study,we present a novel edge-aware feature aggregation network(EFA-Net)for polyp segmentation,which can fully make use of cross-level and multi-scale features to enhance the performance of polyp ***,we first present an edge-aware guidance module(EGM)to combine the low-level features with the high-level features to learn an edge-enhanced feature,which is incorporated into each decoder unit using a layer-by-layer ***,a scale-aware convolution module(SCM)is proposed to learn scale-aware features by using dilated convolutions with different ratios,in order to effectively deal with scale ***,a cross-level fusion module(CFM)is proposed to effectively integrate the cross-level features,which can exploit the local and global contextual ***,the outputs of CFMs are adaptively weighted by using the learned edge-aware feature,which are then used to produce multiple side-out segmentation *** results on five widely adopted colonoscopy datasets show that our EFA-Net outperforms state-of-the-art polyp segmentation methods in terms of generalization and *** implementation code and segmentation maps will be publicly at https://***/taozh2017/EFANet.

Over the years,the high magnetic induction of industrial Mn-added electrical steel is assumed to be the enhancement of{100}texture derived from its austenite-ferrite phase transformation during hot rolling(phase transformation(PT)method).However,it is still undetermined without straightforward experimental *** reason for{100}texture improvement of Mn-added electrical steel is experimentally confirmed due to the recrystallization induced by the austenite-ferrite phase transformation during hot ***,a more promising methodology to further improve{100}texture and formability of hot-rolled electrical steel is promoted by the control of hot rolling deformation condition(shear deformation(SD)method).The results show that the nucleation mechanisms of{100}oriented recrystallized grains are different in the samples by SD and PT methods,which are in-depth shear deformation and austenite-ferrite phase transformation,*** this case,coarse{100}oriented recrystallized grains and low residual stress are obtained in the sample by SD method,which is responsible for its superior{100}texture and *** contrast,the sample by PT method forms fine recrystallized grains with random orientations and accumulates severe residual stress.

The unique three-dimensional orthorhombic NbS(o-NbS)compound synthesized in 1969 has recently been experimentally confirmed to be a superconductor[***.B 108174517(2023)].However,there is currently no theoretical research on its superconducting *** this work,we investigate the superconducting properties of o-Nb S from first-principles *** on the Eliashberg equation,it is found that the superconductivity mainly originates from the coupling between the electrons of Nb-4d orbitals and the vibrations of Nb atoms in the low-frequency region and those of S atoms in the high-frequency region.A superconducting transition temperature(T_c)of 10.7 K is obtained,which is close to the experimental value and higher than most transition metal chalcogenides(TMCs).The calculated thermodynamic properties in the superconducting state,such as specific heat,energy gap,isotope coefficient,etc.,also indicate that o-NbS is a conventional phonon-mediated *** results are consistent with recent experimental reports and provide a good understanding of the superconducting mechanism of o-Nb ***,the TMCs of o-TaS and o-WS are also investigated;these belong to the same and neighboring groups of Nb,and we find that o-TaS and o-WS are also phonon-mediated superconductors with T_c of 8.9 K and 7.2 K,respectively.

The Guanfang large-scale W deposit is located in the W polymetallic ore concentration area of Bozhushan in southeastern Yunnan,*** extensive research,the fluid evolution process of the deposit remains ambiguous,leading to controversy regarding its *** study conducted a detailed field geological survey,with systematic sampling of the KT6 orebody,to delineate mineralization *** mineralogy work,including the use of CL images of scheelite,in-situ LA-ICP-MS trace elements,and Sr isotopes,was carried out on diff erent generations of scheelite formed in various *** findings identified the evolution of fluids in the mineralization process,shedding light on the genesis of the *** study revealed four mineralization stages at the Guanfang W deposit:prograde skarn stage,retrograde skarn stage,quartz-sulfide stage,and carbonate-fluorite *** erent generations of scheelite(Sch I,Sch II,Sch III)were observed in the first three stages,displaying distinct chondrite-normalized REE *** REE of Sch I mainly substituted into the Ca site by REE^(3+)+□_(Ca),and there may be a similar substitution of Nb for REE,whereas it is not the main substitution *** REE of Sch II mainly enter the scheelite lattice in the form of REE 3++Na+,and there may be a substitution of Nb for REE *** the early stage,The REE of Sch III was mainly replaced by Nb for REE isomorphism,while in the later stage,the replacement mode of REE^(3+)+□_(Ca)coexisted with *** Mo content in scheelite,along with the corresponding Eu anomalies in both scheelite and garnet,collectively imply that the ore-forming fluids during various mineralization stages were predominantly oxidizing,with only slight reducibility observed in Sch *** in-situ Sr isotope ratios of scheelite concentrates ranged from 0.7093 to 0.7153,resembling those of the Bozhushan granite,indicating a relationship between W mineralization and *** addition,the Y/Ho ratios of scheeli
