Locations around the equator provide unique habitats for microalgae presumably with exceptional *** develop microalga-derived product systems,we previously created a(sub)tropical microalgal *** this study,two Chlorella strains(MEM176 and MEM193),adaptive to typical tropical climate,were isolated from the *** production performance was evaluated where both strains showed a robust growth in high temperatures and light ***,the strains MEM176 and MEM193 produced 503.6-mg/(L·d)and 411.3-mg/(L·d)biomass,respectively,with high contents of *** commercial and nutritional values were emphasized by amino acid compositions(e.g.,proline,valine,and phenylalanine).Particularly,higher amounts of proline were revealed in MEM176(47.9 mg/g dry biomass(DW))and MEM193(47.9 and 59.2 mg/g DW)than available commercial *** with MEM193,MEM176 produced 129.7%more lipids in which unsaturated fatty acids(particularly linoleic acid andα-linolenic acid)account for 65%of the total ***,it is promising to explore the potential of these Chlorella strains as food additives via outdoor cultivation in tropical area,notably MEM176 that exhibits superiority as sources of essential amino acids and valuable fatty acids.

Saline aquifers are considered as highly favored reservoirs for CO2sequestration due to their favorable properties. Understanding the impact of saline aquifer properties on the migration and distribution of CO2plume is crucial. This study focuses on four key parameters—permeability, porosity, formation pressure, and temperature—to characterize the reservoir and analyse the petrophysical and elastic response of CO2. First, we performed reservoir simulations to simulate CO2saturation, using multiple sets of these four parameters to examine their significance on CO2saturation and the plume migration ***, the effect of these parameters on the elastic properties is tested using rock physics *** established a relationship of compressional wave velocity（Vp） and quality factor（Qp） with the four key parameters, and conducted a sensitivity analysis to test their sensitivity to Vpand Qp. Finally, we utilized visco-acoustic wave equation simulated time-lapse seismic data based on the computed Vpand Qpmodels, and analysed the impact of CO2saturation changes on seismic data. As for the above numerical simulations and analysis, we conducted sensitivity analysis using both homogeneous and heterogeneous models. Consistent results are found between homogeneous and heterogeneous models. The permeability is the most sensitive parameter to the CO2saturation, while porosity emerges as the primary factor affecting both Qpand Vp. Both Qpand Vpincrease with the porosity, which contradicts the observations in gas reservoirs. The seismic simulations highlight significant variations in the seismic response to different parameters. We provided analysis for these observations, which serves as a valuable reference for comprehensive CO2integrity analysis, time-lapse monitoring, injection planning and site selection.

Herein,an external crosslinker facilitated the hypercrosslinking of ferrocene and a nitrogen heterocyclic compound(either melamine or imidazole)through a direct Friedel-Crafts reaction,which led to the formation of nitrogen-containing hypercrosslinked fer-rocene polymer precursors(HCP-FCs).Subsequent carbonization of these precursors results in the production of iron-nitrogen-doped por-ous carbon absorbers(Fe-NPCs).The Fe-NPCs demonstrate a porous structure comprising aggregated nanotubes and *** porosity of this structure can be modulated by adjusting the iron and nitrogen contents to optimize impedance *** uniform dis-tribution of Fe-N_(x)C,N dipoles,andα-Fe within the carbon matrix can be ensured by using hypercrosslinked ferrocenes in constructing porous carbon,providing the absorber with numerous polarization sites and a conductive *** electromagnetic wave absorption performance of the specially designed Fe-NPC-M_(2)absorbers is satisfactory,revealing a minimum reflection loss of-55.3 dB at 2.5 mm and an effective absorption bandwidth of 6.00 GHz at 2.0 *** utilizing hypercrosslinked polymers(HCPs)as precursors,a novel method for developing highly efficient carbon-based absorbing agents is introduced in this research.

Despite considerable research underscoring the importance of carbohydrate intake in relation to the risk of type 2 diabetes(T2D), a comprehensive assessment of this relationship is currently lacking. We aimed to examine the associations of various types and food sources of dietary carbohydrate intake with the risk of T2D, to evaluate potential effect modification by other factors, including genetic susceptibility,and to explore the potential mediators for such associations. The present study included 161,872 participants of the UK Biobank who were free of prevalent cancer, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes, and had at least one validated 24-h dietary recall assessment. Multivariableadjusted age-stratified Cox proportional hazard regression models were applied to estimate hazard ratios(HRs) and 95% confidence intervals(CI) for the associations of various types and food sources of dietary carbohydrate intake with risk of T2D. During a median follow-up of13.6 years, 4,176 incident cases of T2D were identified. In the multivariable-adjusted models, a greater intake of fiber, carbohydrates from whole grains, and carbohydrates from non-starchy vegetables was significantly associated with a lower risk of T2D(highest vs. lowest quantile, HR [95% CI]=0.70 [0.62–0.79], 0.74 [0.67–0.82], and 0.83 [0.75–0.92], respectively, all P for trend <0.005). In contrast, a higher intake of starch and carbohydrate from starchy vegetables was associated with an increased risk of T2D(highest vs. lowest quantile, HR [95%CI]=1.31 [1.16–1.48] and 1.19 [1.09–1.31], respectively, both P for trend <0.005). Replacing one serving of refined grains or starchy vegetables with an equal amount of whole grains or non-starchy vegetables was associated with 4% to 10% lower risk of T2D(all P values <0.001).The observed associations were generally similar across population subgroups, including individuals with different genetic susceptibility to T2D. BACKGROUND Work-family conflicts and daytime sleepiness are related to the risk of *** present,no study has investigated the relationship between nurses’work-family behavioral role conflict and suicide ***,it has not been confirmed whether,considering the effect of daytime sleepiness on suicide risk,daytime sleepiness mediates the effect of work-family behavioral role conflict and suicide *** To explore the pathway relationships among nurses'work-family behavioral role conflict,daytime sleepiness,and suicide *** Convenience and purposive sampling methods were used to select 750 nurses from six provinces,including Jiangxi,Sichuan,and *** work-family behavioral role conflict scale,the Chinese adult daytime sleepiness scale,and the suicide behavior questionnaire were used for the *** data were statistically analyzed via SPSS 25.0 software,Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlations between the variables,the PROCESS 4.0 program was used for the mediation effect analysis,and the mediation effect model was tested via the bootstrap *** Nurses'work-family behavioral role conflict and daytime sleepiness were positively correlated with suicide risk(r=734,0.717).Work-family behavioral role conflict positively predicted suicide risk(β=0.118),and daytime sleepiness positively predicted suicide risk(β=0.152).Daytime sleepiness partially mediated the role of nurses'work-family behavioral role conflict and suicide risk,with a mediation effect value of 0.046 and a mediation effect accounting for 38.98%.CONCLUSION The results of the Pearson correlation analysis and mediation effect analysis revealed that nurses'work-family behavioral role conflict has a direct effect on suicide risk and indirectly affects suicide risk through daytime drowsiness symptoms.
