New classification system for radical rectal cancer surgery based on membrane anatomy

Inhibitory Effect of Extracts from Helianthus tuberosus Leaves against Phytophthora capsici and Pot Verification Test

By growth rate method, the inhibitory effects of five solvent extracts from Helianthus tuberosus leaves against Phytophthora capsici were studied in the test. The results showed that different solvent extracts all had inhibitory effect against P. capsici, while 12.5 mg/mL of extracts from H. tuberosus leaves with petroleum ether and ethyl acetate as solvents had the highest inhibitory effect against P. capsici, reaching 100%. In case of various solvent extracts with different concentration gradients, ethyl acetate extract had the most significant inhibitory effect; when the concentration was 5 mg/mL, the inhibitory effect of ethyl acetate extract had reached 100% ; when the concentration reduced to 2.5 mg/mL, the inhibitory effect was still （27.91 ±2. 076） %, significantly higher than that of other solvent extracts at the same concentration. The 50 times dilution of ethyl acetate extract from H. tuberosus leaves was selected for pot test against pepper blight. , and the results showed that its control effect against pepper blight reached 100.00%, superior than that of chemical agent 25% metalaxyl WP 400 times dilution.

Depth First:Optimal Path Discovery Between Designated Nodes in Random Ring-Based Graphs

This paper focuses on optimally determining the existence of connected paths between some given nodes in random ring-based *** as a fundamental underlying structure in network modeling,ring topology appears as commonplace in many realistic *** this,we consider graphs composed of rings,with some possible connected paths between *** prior knowledge of the exact node permutations on rings,the existence of each edge can be unraveled through edge testing at a unit cost in one *** problem examined is that of determining whether the given nodes are connected by a path or separated by a cut,with the minimum expected costs *** the problem into different cases based on different topologies of the ring-based networks,we propose the corresponding policies that aim to quickly seek the paths between nodes.A common feature shared by all those policies is that we stick to going in the same direction during edge searching,with edge testing in each step only involving the test between the source and the node that has been tested *** simple searching rule,interestingly,can be interpreted as a delightful property stemming from the neat structure of ring-based networks,which makes the searching process not rely on any sophisticated *** prove the optimality of the proposed policies by calculating the expected cost incurred and making a comparison with the other class of *** effectiveness of the proposed policies is also verified through extensive simulations,from which we even disclose three extra intriguing findings:i)in a onering network,the cost will grow drastically with the number of designated nodes when the number is small and will grow slightly when that number is large;ii)in ring-based network,Depth First is optimal in detecting the connectivity between designated nodes;iii)the problem of multi-ring networks shares large similarity with that of two-ring networks,and a larger number of ties between ri

Enhancement of Sensitivity by Initial Phase Matching in SU(1,1) Interferometers

We derive a general phase-matching condition(PMC) for enhancement of sensitivity in SU(1,1) interferometers. Under this condition, the quantum Fisher information(QFI) of two-mode SU(1,1) interferometry becomes maximal with respect to the relative phase of two modes, for the case of an arbitrary state in one input port and an even(odd) state in the other port, and the phase sensitivity is enhanced. We also find that optimal parameters can let the QFI in some areas achieve the Heisenberg limit for both pure and mixed initial states. As examples, we consider several input states: coherent and even coherent states, squeezed vacuum and even coherent states, squeezed thermal and even coherent states. Furthermore, in the realistic scenario of the photon loss channel, we investigate the effect of photon losses on QFI with numerical studies. We find the PMC remains unchanged and is not affected by the transmission coefficients for the above input states. Our results suggest that the PMC can exist in various kinds of interferometers and the phase-matching is robust to even strong photon losses.

To quantitatively estimate the workability of cement-based grouting material,from the perspective of rheology,the result of the static yield stress evaluated using the rate-controlled and stress-controlled modes,respectively,was compared using the Rheowin ***,the correlation of workability and solid concentration of slurry with static yield stress was *** show that the static yield stress of cement-based grouting slurry relates to the established slurry structure,and is the shear stress corresponding to the transformation of elastics to plastics;In rate-controlled mode,the static yield stress of the slurry is related to the shear *** higher the shear rate,the greater the yield stress of the *** the stress-controlled mode,the result is more accurate and suitable for testing static yield stress under different water-cement *** the water-cement ratio has a good correspondence with the static yield stress and the static yield stress has a good correspondence with the slump flow of the slurry,the static yield stress is the minimum stress to be overcome when the slurry begins to flow and it reflects the yield behavior and structural stability of the cement.

This paper investigates the problem of cooperative formation control of unmanned surface vehicles（USVs）.According to the second-order consensus protocol with a virtual-leader,a distributed control law is derived,in which the consensus formation motion information can only be obtained by a part of *** advantages of the shared information between adjacent multi-USVs,the USVs can control self-motion trajectory in a concerted cooperation way,meanwhile,they can also follow the virtual-leader movement along a desired *** error function is defined and the stability of the system is proved based on the Lyapunov stability *** results are presented and discussed for validating the proposed control strategy.

The practical efficiency of singlet fission(SF)-based photovoltaic devices is still far from satisfactory due to the limited scope of SF materials suitable for device application and the scarcity of schemes available for triplet *** SF materials identi-fied to date are typically electron donors while acceptor-type SF materials remain largely ***,the combination of a conventional electron donor and SF-active electron acceptor could circumvent the competitive energy transfer channel and better play the unique advantages of the SF process,which might be an adequate alternative for practical *** this work,we presented a new acceptor-type SF material based on a tetracyanothienoquinoid *** a quinoid skeleton exhibited strong absorption,ultrafast SF process,and excellent *** transient spectroscopy and multireference calculations(XDWCASPT2),the SF dynamics were examined featuring the rapid generation and subsequent annihilation and/or partial dissociation of multiexciton ***,our results not only provide a robust acceptor-type SF material but also suggest an adequate donor–acceptor alternative for SF-based solar cells,which could pave the way for the practical application of such a potential process.

The occurrence of osteoarthritis is closely related to progressive and irreversible destruction of the articular cartilage,which increases the friction significantly and causes further inflammation of the ***,a scaffold for articular cartilage defects should be developed via lubrication restoration and drug *** this study,we successfully synthesized gelatin-based composite hydrogels,namely GelMA–PAM–PMPC,with the properties of biomimetic lubrication and sustained drug release by photopolymerization of methacrylic anhydride modified gelatin(GelMA),acrylamide(AM),and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine(MPC).Tribological test showed that the composite hydrogels remarkably enhanced lubrication due to the hydration lubrication mechanism,where a tenacious hydration shell was formed around the zwitterionic phosphocholine *** addition,drug release test indicated that the composite hydrogels efficiently encapsulated an anti-inflammatory drug(diclofenac sodium)and achieved sustained ***,the in vitro test revealed that the composite hydrogels were biocompatible,and the mRNA expression of both anabolic and catabolic genes of the articular cartilage was suitably *** indicated that the composite hydrogels could effectively protect chondrocytes from inflammatory cytokine-induced *** summary,the composite hydrogels that provide biomimetic hydration lubrication and sustained local drug release represent a promising scaffold for cartilage defects in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
