Magnetic skyrmions emerge when the energy of ferromagnetic exchange interaction promoting parallel alignment of spins enters in competition with energies favoring non-collinear alignment of spins such as Dzy aloshinskii-Moriya interaction(DMI),long-rang dipole-dipole interaction(DDI),or higher-order exchange *** perform an unbiased Monte Carlo simulation to study the DMI-based skyrmion nucleation and stabilization on the surface of magnetic nanotubular monolayer controlled by tuning constants of DDI(g) and next-nearest-neighbor antiferromagnetic exchange interaction(j') with appropriate *** g and j',the loosely distributed skyrmions initially nucleate on the surface of nanotube approaching to the magnetic field(h) direction with increasing h in the intermediate ***,the skyrmion size,shape,density,distribution and crystal structure,as well as its driven field range,are tailored by g and j'.This work demonstrates the skyrmion nucleation mechanisms in three-dimensional magnetic nanostructures with curvature effect and multiple interactions,serving as a benchmark for a guide to experimentalists for preparation of samples in magnetic skyrmion states.

Synchrotron-based angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy was employed to investigate the temperature evolution of the Yb 4 f spectral for surface and bulk in the Kondo lattice YbCu_(2)Si_(2).Our study quantitatively distinguishes between the surface and bulk hybridization processes,revealing that the onset temperatures for both surface and bulk hybridization processes are significantly higher than the Kondo ***,we found that the effective surface Kondo temperature is much lower than that of the *** findings offer valuable insights into the understanding of heavy fermion physics.

The balance between metal and acid sites directly affects the preparation of high-performance cracking catalysts with high heat sink and low ***,how to control acid-metal sites balance and its relationship with cracking performance are reported *** this work,a series of Pt/Al2O3-SiO2dual sites catalysts with different metal to acid active sites ratio(CM/CSA) were constructed by ethanolassisted impregnation method and the impact on n-decane cracking under supercritical conditions was systematically and deeply *** results showed that the conversion and carbon deposition increased gradually with varied CM/CSAand reached the balance at CM/CSAof *** proper ratio CM/CSA（0.13） can balance the deep dehydrogenation coking over metal active sites and high heat sink of cracking over acid active sites,the chemical heat sink reaches amazing 1.75 MJ/kg and carbon deposition is only22.03 mg/cm2at 750℃.Meanwhile,the few metal sites at low CM/CSAand the few strong acid sites at high CM/CSAare the main factors limiting the cracking *** CM/CSAlimit the activation of C-H bond and deep dehydrogenation of coking precursor,resulting in relative low cracking activity and carbon deposition,while high CM/CSAlimit the activation of C-C bond and increase the deep *** this contribution,design and construction of metal-acid dual sites can not only provide the technical solution for the preparation of high heat sink and low coking cracking catalyst,but also deepen the understanding of the cracking path of hydrocarbon fuel.

The three-dimensional numerical manifold method(3D-NMM),which is based on the derivation of Galerkin's variation,is a powerful calculation tool that uses two cover *** 3D-NMM can be used to handle continue-discontinue problems and extend to THM *** this study,we extended the 3D-NMM to simulate both steady-state and transient heat conduction *** modelling was carried out using the raster methods(RSM).For the system equation,a variational method was employed to drive the discrete equations,and the crucial boundary conditions were solved using the penalty *** solve the boundary integral problem,the face integral of scalar fields and two-dimensional simplex integration were used to accurately describe the integral on polygonal *** numerical examples were used to verify the results of 3D steady-state and transient heat-conduction *** numerical results indicated that the 3D-NMM is effective for handling 3D both steadystate and transient heat conduction problems with high solution accuracy.

Perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) have demonstrated great promise in bioimaging applications owing to their outstanding photophysical properties. Nonetheless, their practicality is seriously limited by the instability of PQDs against moisture. Here we develop a post-synthetic ligand exchange strategy to construct silica-coated PQD (PQD@SiO2) nanocrystals, which results in the simultaneous improvement of photoluminescence efficiency and moisture stability. More importantly, compared to the classical in-situ ligand exchange method of fabricating PQD@SiO2, the issues of chemical etching and resultant photoluminescence degradation are judiciously overcome. Employing the proposed PQD@SiO2, we showcase their robust usefulness in labeling chlorella, paving the way for PQD-based in-vivo photoluminescence bioimaging methodology.

Direct energy budget is carried out for both cold and hot flow in gas–solid fluidization ***,the energy paths are proposed from thermodynamic *** consumption means total power input to the specific system,and it can be decomposed into energy retention and energy *** retention is the variation of accumulated mechanical energy in the system,and energy dissipation is the energy converted to heat by irreversible *** based on the Computational Fluid Dynamics-Discrete Element Method(CFD-DEM)framework,different energy terms are quantified from the specific flow elements of fluid cells and particles as well as their interactions with the *** order to clarify the energy budget,it is important to identify which system is studied:the particle-fluid system or the particle *** the cold flow,the total energy consumption of the particle sub-system can well indicate the onset of bubbling and turbulent,while the variation of local energy consumption terms can reflect the evolution of heterogeneous *** the hot flow,different heat transfer mechanisms are analyzed and the solver is modified to reproduce the experimental *** impact of the heat transfer mechanisms and heat production on energy consumption is also *** proposed budget method has proven to be energy-conservative and easy to conduct,and it is hopeful to be applied to other multiphase flow systems.

The booming development of rare earth industry and the extensive utilization of its products accompanied by urban development have led to the accelerated accumulation of rare earth elements(REEs)as emerging pollutants in atmospheric *** this study,the variation of REEs in PM_(2.5)with urban(a non-mining city)transformation was investigated through five consecutive years of sample *** compositional variability and provenance contribution of REEs in PM_(2.5)were characterized,and the REEs exposure risks of children and adults via inhalation,ingestion and dermal absorption were also *** results showed an increase in the total REEs concentration from 46.46±35.16 mg/kg(2017)to 81.22±38.98 mg/kg(2021)over the five-year period,with Ce and La making the largest *** actual increment of industrial and traffic emission source among the three pollution sources was 1.34 ng/m^(3).Coal combustion source displayed a downward *** was the main exposure pathway for REEs in PM_(2.5)for both children and *** contributed the most to the total intake of REEs in PM_(2.5)among the population,followed by La and *** exposure risks of REEs in PM_(2.5)in the region were relatively low,but the trend of change was of great *** was strongly recommended to strengthen the concern about traffic-related non-exhaust emissions of particulate matter.

Electrochemical trepanning (ECTr) is an effective electrochemical machining (ECM) technique that can be used to manufacture the integral components of aero-engine compressors. This study focused on the dynamic evolution of ECTr for production of inner blisks (bladed disks) with a special chamfer structure at blade tip. Due to the existence of chamfer, the ECTr process of inner blades is in a non-equilibrium state during the early stages, and the physical field changes in the machining gap are complex, making it difficult to predict the forming process. In this paper, a dynamic evolution model (DEM) of inner blade ECTr with a special chamfer at blade tip structure is proposed, and an ECTr multi-physical fields simulation study was carried out. The evolution of the chamfer at blade tip was analyzed and data related to chamfer were predicted based on the dependence of anode boundary properties with machining time and feed rate. In addition, the distributions of current density, electrolyte flow rate, bubble volume fraction, temperature rise, and electrolyte conductivity in the machining area at different times were obtained by combining them with the multi-physical fields simulation results. Subsequently, a series of ECTr experiments were conducted, in which, as the feed rate increased, the surface quality and machining accuracy of the inner blades were improved. Compared with the simulation results, the error in machining accuracy of the chamfer profile is controlled within +/- 2%, and the machining accuracy of the blade full profile was controlled within +/- 0.2 mm, indicating that the model proposed in this study was effective in predicting the evolution of inner blades ECTr with chamfer structures at blade tip. Constructed wetlands(CWs)are widely applied for decentralized wastewater ***,achieving efficient removal of ammonia(NH+-N)has proven challenging due to insufficient *** this study,natural hematite(Fe,O3)was employed as a CW substrate(H-CWs)for the first time to drive anaerobic ammonia oxidation coupled with iron(I)reduction(Feammox).Compared to gravel constructed wetlands(G-CWs),ammonia removal was enhanced by 38.14%to 54.03%and nitrous oxide(N_(2)0)emissions were reduced by 34.60%in *** synergistic removal of ammonia and nitrate by H-CWs also resulted in the absence of ammoxidation *** and 15N isotope tracer incubations showed that Feammox accounting for approximately 40%of all ammonia removal in the *** enrichment of iron phosphate(Fe_(3)Fe_(4)(PO_(4))_(6))promoted the accumulation of the Feammox intermediate compound *** nanowires were observed on the surface of H-CW substrates as well,suggesting that the observed biological ammoxidation was most likely related to extracellular electron transfer(EET).Microbial and metagenomics analysis revealed that H-CWs elevated the integrity and enhanced the abundance of functional microorganisms and genes associated with nitrogen ***,the efficient ammonia removal in the absence of O2 together with a reduction in N_(2)O emissions as described in this study may provide useful guidance for hematite-mediated anaerobic ammonia removal in CWs.
