Effect of order–disorder transition on thermodynamic and electronic properties of σ and χ phases in W–Re alloy: the first-principles calculation

The Tungsten-Rhenium(W-Re) alloys,celebrated for their high melting point,strength at elevated temperatures,electrical resistivity,and radiation resistance,have been widely utilized in high-temperature components,aerospace,electronics,and nuclear *** constituents of the topologically close-packed(TCP) phases,the sigma phase(σ) and chi phase(χ) formed within W-Re alloys wield considerable influence on the mechanical properties and the stability of the *** calculations were utilized in the present work to explore the structural,thermodynamic,and electronic properties of both ordered and disordered configurations within the σ and χ phases,culminating in a systematic elucidation of the higher phase stability exhibited by the ordered *** is found that the bulk modulus of these two phases is directly proportional to the concentration of Re in the alloy,while the equilibrium volume is inversely *** thermodynamic parameters of the σ and χ phases are calculated via the mean-field potential *** similar trends observed in the isobaric heat capacity,enthalpy increment,and entropy change curves for these two phases suggest they possess comparable thermodynamic *** is noteworthy that the contribution of ionic vibrations predominantly affects the isobaric heat capacity,while the contribution of thermal electronic excitations increases linearly with *** the structure and thermodynamic properties of TCP phases in W-Re alloys at low temperatures has profound significance for optimizing material performance,microstructures features,establishing theoretical foundations,and predicting material behavior.

Synthesis of chiral phosphine derivatives through a copper（I）-catalyzed desymmetric SNAr reaction

Axially chiral phosphines are a class of extremely important ligands in asymmetric catalysis. Herein, an unprecedented copper（I）-catalyzed asymmetric SNAr reaction with HP（S）R2is uncovered, which delivers a series of axially chiral phosphine derivatives in high yields with excellent enantioselectivity. Furthermore, the diastereoselective reaction with the kinetic resolution of racemic HP（S）ArR proceeds smoothly, providing the products with moderate diastereoselectivity and excellent enantioselectivity. Control experiments indicate that HP（S）Ph2is much more active than HPPh2and HP（O）Ph2as the pronucleophile in the present reaction. It is found that the SNAr reaction （the first SNAr） proceeds in a desymmetric manner, providing the desired chiral products while a continued SNAr reaction （the second SNAr） slightly occurs in a kinetic resolution manner in the present catalytic system, which enhances the ee of the desired chiral products. DFTcalculations support a concerted reaction pathway rather than a step-wise mechanism. Finally, axially chiral olefin-phosphines produced by the present method work as suitable ligands in Pdcatalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution with C-, N-, and O-nucleophiles and Rh-catalyzed asymmetric addition of arylboronic acid to benzil.

Natural and human-induced decline and spatio-temporal differentiation of terrestrial water storage over the Lancang-Mekong River Basin

Due to water conflicts and allocation in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin(LMRB), the spatio-temporal differentiation of total water resources and the natural-human influence need to be clarified. This work investigated LMRB's terrestrial water storage anomaly(TWSA) and its spatio-temporal dynamics during 2002–2020. Considering the effects of natural factors and human activities, the respective contributions of climate variability and human activities to terrestrial water storage change(TWSC) were separated. Results showed that:(1) LMRB's TWSA decreased by 0.3158 cm/a.(2) TWSA showed a gradual increase in distribution from southwest of MRB to middle LMRB and from northeast of LRB to middle LMRB. TWSA positively changed in Myanmar while slightly changed in Laos and China. It negatively changed in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.(3) TWSA components decreased in a descending order of soil moisture, groundwater and precipitation.(4) Natural factors had a substantial and spatial differentiated influence on TWSA over the LMRB.(5) Climate variability contributed 79% of TWSC in the LMRB while human activities contributed 21% with an increasing impact after 2008. The TWSC of upstream basin countries was found to be controlled by climate variability while Vietnam and Cambodia's TWSC has been controlled by human activities since 2012.

Can patients with mild non-neoplastic lesions diagnosed at baseline screening be safely exempt from surveillance: evidence from multicenter community-based cohorts

Surveillance recommendations for gastric cancer（GC） in current guidelines focused on advanced precancerous lesions and were based on precise diagnosis of severity/extent of baseline lesions. We aimed to develop a less endoscopy-related equipment-dependent risk-stratification tool, and assessed whether mild-precursor-lesion patients can be safely exempt from surveillance. In the multicenter communitybased cohort, 75,051 participants receiving baseline endoscopy were enrolled during 2015–2017 and followed-up until 2021. Cumulative incidence rates（CIRs） of GC for precancerous-conditions were calculated by Kaplan-Meier method and compared by Log-rank tests. Mixedeffects Cox regression models were used to detect potential factors for progression towards GC. A risk score was calculated as counts of selected factors. An independent cohort, including 26,586 participants was used for external validation. During a median follow-up of 6.25 years, CIRs of GC were 0.302%, 0.436%, and 4.756% for normal group, non-neoplastic（atrophic gastritis/intestinal metaplasia） and neoplastic lesions（low-grade/high-grade dysplasia）, respectively(Ptrend<0.001). Four predictors, including male, ≥60 years, smoking, and limited vegetable consumption, were selected for risk-stratification. High-risk patients（≥3 risk factors） with non-neoplastic lesions showed higher GC risks（adjusted HR=7.73, 95%CI: 4.29–13.92）, and their four-year CIR reached the one-year CIR of neoplastic lesions. Further categorizing non-neoplastic lesions by histological grade, both patients with moderate-to-severe lesions（aHR=3.07, 95%CI: 1.67–5.64） and high-risk patients with mild lesions（aHR=7.29, 95%CI: 3.58–14.86） showed higher risks. Consistent trends were observed in validation cohort. High-risk mild-precursor-lesion patients should receive surveillance within 3–5 years after baseline screening. Our study provides evidence on supplementing current guideline recommendations.

Circular RNAs(circRNAs) play pivotal roles in the development and progression of various diseases, including malignant tumors. However,the biological functions and the underlying mechanisms of many circRNAs remain elusive. In this study, we identified a novel circRNA,circTP63-N, generated through the splicing of exons 2–4 of the TP63 gene in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). circTP63-N was found to be downregulated in clinical samples of NPC. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments unequivocally demonstrated that circTP63-N inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of NPC cells. Further investigations revealed that circTP63-N interacted with the HSP90AB1 protein, leading to the recruitment of LATS/YAP1 proteins. This, in turn, induced phosphorylation and ubiquitination-dependent degradation of YAP1, resulting in reduced nuclear translocation of YAP1 and inhibition of the transcriptional activation of downstream oncogenic genes, including INHBA, MMP3, and CCNE2. Our findings highlight the identification of circTP63-N, a novel circRNA encoded by an important tumor-relevant gene TP63 and elucidate its molecular mechanism as a tumor suppressor in NPC. These insights offer novel potential molecular markers and therapeutic targets for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of NPC.

容积视频捕获(Volumetric Video)是通过光学扫描来捕捉拍摄对象并生成动静两态4D数字影像模型的前沿机器视觉技术之一。与现有的虚拟数字人不同,它生成的数字克隆人是对真人一比一的真实呈现,故而数字克隆人所具有的视觉情感与叙事场景于受众而言具有更深刻的沉浸性。本文从数字克隆人的生成逻辑、技术特性出发,深挖其背后生发的感知体验与情感投射,通过跨媒介叙事分析,结合实验室成果探索其沉浸意境与实践意义,揭示数字克隆人在经历“生产—创造”的过程后将客观形态和主观感性融合在一起,冲破了人与技术、人与审美、人与群体的边界,在虚拟世界中转化为现实的仿真。

术中射频消融治疗合并重度肝硬化肝细胞癌的临床疗效及预后因素分析

目的：探讨术中RFA治疗合并重度肝硬化肝细胞癌（以下简称肝癌）患者的临床疗效及预后因素。方法：采用回顾性病例对照研究方法。收集2009年1月至2013年12月复旦大学附属中山医院收治的188例合并重度肝硬化肝癌患者的临床病理资料。结合术中探查，依据患者肿瘤情况及肝硬化状态选择行部分肝切除术联合术中RFA或行单纯RFA。观察指标：（1）手术情况：手术时间、术中出血量、术中输血情况、肝门阻断情况、手术切除肿瘤数目、RFA肿瘤数目。（2）术后恢复情况：术后并发症发生情况、术后住院时间。（3）随访情况。（4）无瘤生存影响因素分析。采用门诊和电话方式进行随访，了解患者肿瘤毁损情况和生存情况。随访时间截至2016年3月。正态分布的计量资料以x^-±s表示。采用KaplanMeier法计算生存率。单因素分析采用Logrank检验，多因素分析采用COX风险回归模型。结果：（1）手术情况：188例患者均顺利完成手术，其中74例行部分肝切除术联合术中RFA，114例行单纯RFA。11例同时行胆囊切除术，6例同时行右肾上腺切除术，1例同时行胃大部切除术，无围术期死亡患者。188例患者手术时间为（2.3±1.4）h，术中出血量为（64±4）mL，无术中输血患者，均未行肝门阻断。手术切除肿瘤数目为：1个者61例，2个者13例，总计切除87个。RFA肿瘤数目：1个者123例，2个者58例，3个者6例， 4个者1例，总计RFA 261个。（2）术后恢复情况：188例患者中，术后发生严重并发症19例，其中大量胸腔积液7例，大量腹腔积液5 例，腹腔出血 3例，严重局部感染3 例，大量胸、腹腔积液 1 例，均经对症支持治疗后好转。188例患者术后住院时间为（7.61±0.20）d。（3）随访情况：188例患者中，182例获得术后随访。随访时间为21～85个月，中位随访时间为41个月。术后1个月复查增强MRI，174例患者肝肿瘤完全毁损，肿瘤完全毁损率为92.55%（174/188）。随访期间46例患者死亡。188例患者总体中位生存时间为38个月，1、2、3年总体生存率分别为99%、96%、86%；无瘤中位生存时间为31个月，1、2、3年无瘤生存率分别为92%、77%、41%。（4）无瘤生存影响因素分析：单因素分析结果显示：术前AFP、肿瘤数目、手术方式是影响合并重度肝硬化肝癌患者行开腹RFA术后无瘤生存的相关因素（χ^2=5.623，4.744，7.293，P〈0.05）。多因素分析结果显示：术前AFP〉20 μg/L、手术方式为部分肝切除术联合术中RFA是影响合并重度肝硬化肝癌患者行开腹RFA术后无瘤生存的独立危险因素（RR=1.523,1.615,95%可信区间：1.056～2.198,1.006～2.594，P〈0.05）。结论：术中RFA治疗合并重度肝硬化肝癌患者安全可行，其术后并发症少、恢复快，选择合适病例能获得较好的远期生存。术前AFP＞20 μg/L、手术方式为部分肝切除术联合术中RFA是影响合并重度肝硬化肝癌患者行开腹RFA术后无瘤生存的独立危险因素。

Method for studying diatomic rovibrational spectra at a given vibrational state

An algebraic method for rotational energies at a given vibrational state(AMr(v)) is proposed in this study in order to obtain unknown high-lying rovibrational energies. Applications of this method to the ground electronic state X^1Σ^+of CO and the excited state C^1Σ^+of^(39)K^7Li molecules show the following:(1) the AMr(v) can give the rational upper limit J of a rotational quantum number of a diatomic electronic state;(2) the full AMr(v) rovibrational energies {E_(υJ)}_υ of given vibrational states not only reproduce all known experimental data excellently but also predict precisely the values of all high-lying rovibrational energies,which may not be available experimentally.
