The urban power grid(UPG)combines transmission and distribution networks.Past studies on UPG congestion mitigation have primarily focused on relieving local congestion while ignoring large-scale energy transfer with safety margins and load balancing.This situation is expected to worsen with the proliferation of renewable energy and electric vehicles.In this paper,a two-layer congestion mitigation framework is proposed,one which considers the congestion of the UPG with flexible topologies.In the upper-layer,the particle swarm optimization algorithm is employed to optimize the power supply distribution(PSD)of substation transformers.This is known as the upper-layer PSD.The lower-layer model recalculates the new PSD,known as the lower-layer PSD,based on the topology candidates.A candidate topology is at an optimum when the Euclidean distance mismatch between the upper-and lower-layer PSDs is the smallest.This optimum topology is tested by standard power flow to ascertain its feasibility.The optimum transitioning sequence between the initial and optimum topologies is also determined by the two-layer framework to minimize voltage deviation and line overloading of the UPG considering dynamic thermal rating.The proposed framework is tested on a 56-node test system.Results show that the proposed framework can significantly reduce congestion,maintain safety margins,and determine the optimum transitioning sequence.

Establishing the accurate relationship between fractional calculus and fractals is an important research content of fractional calculus theory.In the present paper,we investigate the relationship between fractional calculus and fractal functions,based only on fractal dimension considerations.Fractal dimension of the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral of continuous functions seems no more than fractal dimension of functions themselves.Meanwhile fractal dimension of the Riemann-Liouville fractional differential of continuous functions seems no less than fractal dimension of functions themselves when they exist.After further discussion,fractal dimension of the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral is at least linearly decreasing and fractal dimension of the Riemann-Liouville fractional differential is at most linearly increasing for the Holder continuous functions.Investigation about other fractional calculus,such as the Weyl-Marchaud fractional derivative and the Weyl fractional integral has also been given elementary.This work is helpful to reveal the mechanism of fractional calculus on continuous functions.At the same time,it provides some theoretical basis for the rationality of the definition of fractional calculus.This is also helpful to reveal and explain the internal relationship between fractional calculus and fractals from the perspective of geometry.

Multiple quantum coherences are often employed to describe quantum many-body dynamics in nuclear spin systems and recently,to characterize quantum phase transitions in trapped ions.Here we investigate the multiple-quantum-coherence dynamics of a spin-1 Bose–Einstein condensate.By adjusting the quadratic Zeeman shift,the condensate exhibits three quantum phases.Our numerical results show that the spectrum of multiple quantum coherence does indeed catch the quantum critical points.More importantly,with only a few low-order multiple quantum coherences,the spin-1 condensate exhibits rich signals of the many-body dynamics,beyond conventional observables.The experimental implementation of such multiple quantum coherence protocol is also discussed.

Background:Choosing the appropriate antipsychotic drug(APD)treatment for patients with schizophrenia(SCZ)can be challenging,as the treatment response to APD is highly variable and difficult to predict due to the lack of effective biomarkers.Previous studies have indicated the association between treatment response and genetic and epigenetic factors,but no effective biomarkers have been identified.Hence,further research is imperative to enhance precision medicine in SCZ treatment.Methods:Participants with SCZ were recruited from two randomized trials.The discovery cohort was recruited from the CAPOC trial(n=2307)involved 6 weeks of treatment and equally randomized the participants to the Olanzapine,Risperidone,Quetiapine,Aripiprazole,Ziprasidone,and Haloperidol/Perphenazine(subsequently equally assigned to one or the other)groups.The external validation cohort was recruited from the CAPEC trial(n=1379),which involved 8 weeks of treatment and equally randomized the participants to the Olanzapine,Risperidone,and Aripiprazole groups.Additionally,healthy controls(n=275)from the local community were utilized as a genetic/epigenetic reference.The genetic and epigenetic(DNA methylation)risks of SCZ were assessed using the polygenic risk score(PRS)and polymethylation score,respectively.The study also examined the genetic-epigenetic interactions with treatment response through differential methylation analysis,methylation quantitative trait loci,colocalization,and promoteranchored chromatin interaction.Machine learning was used to develop a prediction model for treatment response,which was evaluated for accuracy and clinical benefit using the area under curve(AUC)for classification,R^(2) for regression,and decision curve analysis.Results:Six risk genes for SCZ(LINC01795,DDHD2,SBNO1,KCNG2,SEMA7A,and RUFY1)involved in cortical morphology were identified as having a genetic-epigenetic interaction associated with treatment response.The developed and externally validated prediction model,which incorporated clinical information,

The increasing flexibility of active distribution systems(ADSs)coupled with the high penetration of renewable distributed generators(RDGs)leads to the increase of the complexity.It is of practical significance to achieve the largest amount of RDG penetration in ADSs and maintain the optimal operation.This study establishes an alternating current(AC)/direct current(DC)hybrid ADS model that considers the dynamic thermal rating,soft open point,and distribution network reconfiguration(DNR).Moreover,it transforms the optimal dispatching into a second-order cone programming problem.Considering the different control time scales of dispatchable resources,the following two-stage dispatching framework is proposed.d dispatch uses hourly input data with the goal(1)The day-ahea of minimizing the grid loss and RDG dropout.It obtains the optimal 24-hour schedule to determine the dispatching plans for DNR and the energy storage system.(2)The intraday dispatch uses 15-min input data for 1-hour rolling-plan dispatch but only executes the first 15 min of dispatching.To eliminate error between the actual operation and dispatching plan,the first 15 min is divided into three 5-min step-by-step executions.The goal of each step is to trace the tie-line power of the intraday rolling-plan dispatch to the greatest extent at the minimum cost.The measured data are used as feedback input for the rolling-plan dispatch after each step is executed.A case study shows that the comprehensive cooperative ADS model can release the line capacity,reduce losses,and improve the penetration rate of RDGs.Further,the two-stage dispatching framework can handle source-load fluctuations and enhance system stability.

Histone deacetylase(HDAC)is a kind of protease that modifies histone to regulate gene expression,and is usually abnormally activated in tumors.The approved pan-HDAC inhibitors have demonstrated clinical benefits for patients in some hematologic malignancies.Only limited therapeutic success in breast cancer has been observed in clinical trials.In this study,we declare that pan-HDAC inhibitors targeting NEDD9-FAK pathway exacerbate breast cancer metastasis in preclinical models,which may severely impede their clinical success.NEDD9 is not an oncogene,however,it has been demonstrated recently that there are high level or activity changes of NEDD9 in a variety of cancer,including leukemia,colon cancer,and breast cancer.Mechanistically,pan-HDAC inhibitors enhance H3K9 acetylation at the nedd9 gene promoter via inhibition of HDAC4 activity,thus increase NEDD9 expression,and then activate FAK phosphorylation.The realization that pan-HDAC inhibitors can alter the natural history of breast cancer by increasing invasion warrants clinical attention.In addition,although NEDD9 has been reported to have a hand in breast cancer metastasis,it has not received much attention,and no therapeutic strategies have been developed.Notably,we demonstrate that FAK inhibitors can reverse breast cancer metastasis induced by upregulation of NEDD9 via pan-HDAC inhibitors,which may offer a potential combination therapy for breast cancer.

本文基于对北京和上海两地48名家政女工的深度访谈,分析了户籍制度和市场双重影响下家政女工的“边界协商”,即在结构限制下形成的“生产-再生产”安排。本文认为,城乡二元结构和市场是以家庭为中介来影响家政女工个体的“生产-再生产”安排。城乡二元结构对女工家庭不同程度的影响形成了不同程度的、以家庭为单位的“生产与再生产拆分”情况;而市场对女工家庭不同程度的影响,则形成了不同程度的“家庭再生产商品化”情况。在不同“生产与再生产拆分”程度和不同“家庭再生产商品化”程度的交织中,家政女工形成了四种类型的“生产-再生产”形态,分别为“生产从属于再生产”“生产中心、再生产剥离”、“生产与再生产轮换”和“再生产从属于生产”。

A flexible artificial solid-electrolyte interlayer supported by compactness-tailored carbon nanotube network for dendrite-free lithium metal anode

A dendrite-free lithium metal anode requires a stable interface designed for efficient and reversible lithium plating and stripping. In this work, we have devised a mechanically flexible artificial Li_(3)N solid-electrolyte interlayer supported by a dual-layer compactness-tailored carbon nanotube fiber network. The more compact side of the network ensures a full coverage of Li_(3)N, which prevents the reaction between electrolyte and lithium. The other side, with sparsely distributed nanotube fibers, provides mechanical flexibility for the film, and induces three-dimensional lithium deposition along its structure without any dendrite formation. The resulting full cell with NCM811 cathode has a high capacity retention of 95.1% for 160 cycles compared with less than 80% for the control.
