Deep eutectic solvents(DESs)have drawn considerable attention as a new type of green solvent since they were *** studies have shown that DESs have the potential to be used as“designable”solvents,which means that the precursors of DESs with different structures and properties can be screened to customize DESs for specific *** have found that during the sample preparation process involving DESs,the specific properties of some“smart”DESs can be switched by directing external driving forces,leading to a reversible phase transition of the target ***"smart"DESs are called switchable deep eutectic solvents(SDESs).The advent of SDES simplifies the sample pretreatment steps,reduces the use of organic solvents,and makes solvents easy to recycle,which matches the concept of green and sustainable *** with the number of previous experimental studies,the reviews and summaries on SDESs are ***,this review made a summary of the concept and research progress of SDESs based on some related works in the past decade,including composition and type,characterization,switching mechanism,*** is expected to provide a certain reference and guidance for the subsequent in-depth research of SDESs in the analytical sample pretreatment.

Based on the framework of support vector machines （SVM） using one-against-one （OAO） strategy, a new multi-class kernel method based on directed aeyclie graph （DAG） and probabilistic distance is proposed to raise the multi-class classification accuracies. The topology structure of DAG is constructed by rearranging the nodes＇ sequence in the graph. DAG is equivalent to guided operating SVM on a list, and the classification performance depends on the nodes＇ sequence in the graph. Jeffries-Matusita distance （JMD） is introduced to estimate the separability of each class, and the implementation list is initialized with all classes organized according to certain sequence in the list. To testify the effectiveness of the proposed method, numerical analysis is conducted on UCI data and hyperspectral data. Meanwhile, comparative studies using standard OAO and DAG classification methods are also conducted and the results illustrate better performance and higher accuracy of the orooosed JMD-DAG method.

The activities of invertase, protease, urease, acid phosphomonoesterase, dehydrogenase, and catalase in different fractions of waterstable aggregates (WSA) were examined in long-term (26 years) fertilised soils. The long-term application of organic manure (OM) with chemical fertiliser (CF) significantly increased macroaggregate and decreased microaggregate percentages, enhanced the mean weight diameter, and significantly increased soil total carbon (TC) and total nitrogen (TN) contents of WSA in different size fractions. Combined fertilisation with OM and CF also increased invertase, protease, urease, acid phosphomonoesterase, dehydrogenase, and catalase activities of WSA in different size fractions. Enzyme activities were higher in macroaggregates than in microaggregates. The distribution of enzyme activities generally followed the distribution of TC and TN in WSA. The geometric mean of the enzyme activities in different WSA of OM-treated soils was significantly higher than that in soils treated with 100% CF or no fertiliser. The results indicated that the long-term combined application of OM with CF increased the aggregate stability and enzyme activity of different WSA sizes, and consequently, improved soil physical structure and increased soil microbial activity.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the stabilization problem of nonlinear stochastic systems via self-triggered impulsive control(STIC), where the timing of impulsive control actions is not dependent on continuous state monitoring. In contrast to the existing self-triggered control method, novel self-triggered mechanism(STM) is proposed by incorporating a waiting time for stabilizing impulses. This allows for direct prediction of the next impulsive instant.

Allelopathy plays an important role in the interaction between invasive and resident *** nitrogen(N)deposition has become a global problem,but it is unclear whether N enrichment affects the interaction between invasive and resident plants by affecting their ***,we performed a greenhouse experiment in which the resident plant community was grown under two levels of invasion by ***(invasion *** invasion)and fully crossed with two levels of allelopathy(with or without adding activated carbon)and two levels of N addition(with or without).The resident plant communities were constructed with eight herbaceous species that often co-occur with *** results showed that both allelopathy of *** and the resident plants had obvious positive effects on their own *** addition had more obvious positive effects on the resident plants under invasion than those that were not ***,N addition also altered the allelopathy of resident ***,N addition improved the allelopathy of resident plants when they were invaded but decreased the allelopathy of resident plants when they grew *** nitrogen addition had no obvious effect on ***,it reduced the allelopathy of *** results suggest that N addition could improve the resistance of resident plants to invasion by improving the allelopathy of resident plants and reducing the allelopathy of *** fndings provide a scientifc basis to manage and control the *** invasion.

Alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)offers a near-zero-emission approach to advance hydrogen ***,the activity limited by the multiple reaction steps involving H_(2)O molecules transfer,absorption,and activation still unqualified the thresholds of economic ***,we proposed a multisite complementary strategy that incorporates hydrophilic Mo and electrophilic V into Ni-based catalysts to divide the distinct steps on atomically dispersive sites and thus realize sequential regulation of the HER *** Isotopic labeled in situ Raman spectroscopy describes 4-coordinated hydrogen bonded H_(2)O to be free H_(2)O passing the inner Helmholtz plane in the vicinity of the catalysts under the action of hydrophilic Mo ***,potential-dependent electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)reveals that electrophilic V sites with abundant 3d empty orbitals could activate the lone-pair electrons in the free H_(2)O molecules to produce more protic hydrogen,and dimerize into H_(2) at the Ni *** the sequential management of reactive H_(2)O molecules,NiMoV oxides multisite catalysts surpass Pt/C hydrogen evolution activity(49 mV@10 mA∙cm^(-2) over 140 h).Profoundly,this study provides a tangible model to deepen the comprehension of the catalyst–electrolyte interface and create efficient catalysts for diverse reactions.
