Clinical observation on 90 cases of primary dysmenorrhea treated by buccal acupuncture therapy:a randomized controlled study

OBJECTIVE:To explore the short-term and long-term efficacy of buccal acupuncture therapy in the treatment of patients with primary dysmenorrhea(PD).METHODS:A total of 90 patients with PD who were admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2.2. to December 2.2. were included in this study and randomly divided into three groups,including the observation group,the control group,and the placebo group,with 30 patients in each *** in the observation group were treated according to the syndrome types of Traditional Chinese Medicine,those in the control group were treated with Saridon,and those in the placebo group received a *** visual analog scale(VAS)scores of these patients were evaluated at different time points(before treatment,5 min after needle retention,30 min after needle retention,1 h after treatment,2.h after treatment,1 d after treatment,and 2.d after treatment).The Cox Menstrual Symptom Scale(CMSS)scores were assessed before the treatment and after three courses of ***,these two scales were also evaluated during ***,the pain score and adverse reactions of these patients were assessed during ***:After treatment,the VAS and CMSS scores in the observation group decreased significantly(P<0.05)5 and 30 min after needle retention and after ***:Buccal acupuncture therapy is verified to have short-term efficacy in the treatment of *** addition,this therapy has an immediate analgesic effect and long-term efficacy in reducing the severity and frequency of PD.

Herein,Co/CoO heterojunction nanoparticles(NPs)rich in oxygen vacancies embedded in mesoporous walls of nitrogen-doped hollow carbon nanoboxes coupled with nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes(P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT)are well designed through zeolite-imidazole framework(ZIF-67)carbonization,chemical vapor deposition,and O_(2. plasma *** a result,the threedimensional NHCNBs coupled with NCNTs and unique heterojunction with rich oxygen vacancies reduce the charge transport resistance and accelerate the catalytic reaction rate of the P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT,and they display exceedingly good electrocatalytic performance for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR,halfwave potential[EORR,1/2.0.855 V *** hydrogen electrode])and oxygen evolution reaction(OER,overpotential(η_(OER,10)=377mV@10mA cm^(−2.),which exceeds that of the commercial Pt/C+RuO_(2. and most of the formerly reported ***,both the aqueous and flexible foldable all-solid-state rechargeable zinc-air batteries(ZABs)assembled with the P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT catalyst reveal a large maximum power density and outstanding long-term cycling ***-principles density functional theory calculations show that the formation of heterojunctions and oxygen vacancies enhances conductivity,reduces reaction energy barriers,and accelerates reaction kinetics *** work opens up a new avenue for the facile construction of highly active,structurally stable,and cost-effective bifunctional catalysts for ZABs.

Deadline-Constrained and Cost-Effective Multi-Workflow Scheduling with Uncertainty in Cloud Control Systems

In cloud control systems, generating an efficient and economical workflow scheduling strategy for deadline-constrained workflow applications, especially in uncertain multi-workflow dynamic scheduling processes, is a crucial challenge. To optimize the total cost of workflow scheduling, the authors propose a cost-driven heuristic scheduling algorithm F-MWSA which consists of two phases:Fuzzy deadline distribution and fuzzy task scheduling. In the fuzzy deadline distribution phase, a new workflow deadline distribution strategy with fuzziness is designed to obtain the sub-deadline constraint of each task. The fuzzy task scheduling phase focuses on a cost-effective strategy to assign tasks to cloud resources, reducing multi-workflow scheduling costs. Performance evaluations on five real-world workflows demonstrate that the proposed F-MWSA outperforms the baseline policy in terms of total cost, success ratio, resource utilization, and makespan.

Estimation of the anisotropy of hydraulic conductivity through 3D fracture networks using the directional geological entropy

With an extension of the geological entropy concept in porous media,the approach called directional entrogram is applied to link hydraulic behavior to the anisotropy of the 3D fracture networks.A metric called directional entropic scale is used to measure the anisotropy of spatial order in different *** with the traditional connectivity indexes based on the statistics of fracture geometry,the directional entropic scale is capable to quantify the anisotropy of connectivity and hydraulic conductivity in heterogeneous 3D fracture *** to the numerical analysis of directional entrogram and fluid flow in a number of the 3D fracture networks,the hydraulic conductivities and entropic scales in different directions both increase with spatial order(i.e.,trace length decreasing and spacing increasing)and are independent of the dip *** a result,the nonlinear correlation between the hydraulic conductivities and entropic scales from different directions can be unified as quadratic polynomial function,which can shed light on the anisotropic effect of spatial order and global entropy on the heterogeneous hydraulic behaviors.

Transforming liquid flow fuel cells to controllable reactors for highlyefficient oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural to 2. 5-furandicarboxylic acid at low temperature

Highly-efficient oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurtural(HMF) to 2.5-furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA) at low temperature with air as the oxidant is still ***,inspired by the respirato ry electron transport chain(ETC) of living cells mediated by electron carriers,we constructed artificial ETCs and transformed liquid flow fuel cells(LFFCs) to flexible reactors for efficient oxidation of HMF to produce FDCA under mild *** LFFC reactor employed an electrodeposition modified nickel foam as an anode to promote HMF oxidation and(VO_(2.)_(2.SO_(4) as a cathode electron carrier to facilitate the electron transfer to *** reaction rate could be easily controlled by selecting the anode catalyst,adjusting the external loading and changing the cathodic electron carrier or oxidants.A maximal power density of 44.9 mW cm^(-2. at room temperature was achieved,while for FDCA production,short-circuit condition was preferred to achieve quick transfer of *** a single batch operation with 0.1 M initial HMF,FDCA yield reached 97.1%.By fed-batch operation,FDCA concentration reached 144.5 g L^(-1) with a total yield of 96%.Ni^(2.)/Ni^(3+) redox couple was the active species mediating the electron transfer,while both experimental and DFT calculation results indicated that HMFCA pathway was the preferred reaction mechanism.

Tuning the surface electronic structure of noble metal aerogels to promote the electrocatalytic oxygen reduction

The sluggish kinetics of the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is the bottleneck for various electrochemical energy conversion *** the electronic structure of electrocatalysts by ligands has received particular attention in deriving valid ORR ***,the surface electronic structure of Ptbased noble metal aerogels(NMAs)was modulated by various organic ligands,among which the electron-withdrawing ligand of 4-methylphenylene effectively boosted the ORR *** calculations suggested the smaller energy barrier for the transformation of O^(*) to OH^(*) and downshift the d-band center of Pt due to the interaction between 4-methylphenylene and the surface metals,thus enhancing the ORR intrinsic *** Pt3Ni and Pt Pd aerogels with 4-methylphenylene decoration performed significant enhancement in ORR activity and durability in different ***,the 4-methylphenylene modified Pt Pd aerogel exhibited the higher halfwave potential of 0.952.V and the mass activity of 10.2.times of commercial Pt/*** work explained the effect of electronic structure on ORR electrocatalytic properties and would promote functionalized NMAs as efficient ORR electrocatalysts.

Clifford Deformations of Koszul Frobenius Algebras and Noncommutative Quadrics

A Clifford deformation of a Koszul Frobenius algebra E is a finite dimensional Z_(2.-graded algebra E(θ),which corresponds to a noncommutative quadric hypersurface E^(!)/(z)for some central regular element z∈E_(2.^(!).It turns out that the bounded derived category D^(b)(gr_(Z_(2.)E(θ))is equivalent to the stable category of the maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules over E^(!)/(z)provided that E!is *** a consequence,E^(!)/(z)is a noncommutative isolated singularity if and only if the corresponding Clifford deformation E(θ)is a semisimple Z_(2.-graded *** preceding equivalence of triangulated categories also indicates that Clifford deformations of trivial extensions of a Koszul Frobenius algebra are related to Knörrer's periodicity theorem for quadric *** an application,we recover Knörrer's periodicity theorem without using matrix factorizations.

Rapid Energy Exchange between In Situ Formed Bromine Vacancies and CO_(2.Molecules Enhances CO_(2.Photoreduction

Photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2.into fuels provides a prospective tactic for regulating the global carbon balance utilizing renewable solar ***,CO_(2.molecules are difficult to activate and reduce due to the thermodynamic stability and chemical *** this work,we develop a novel strategy to promote the adsorption and activation of CO_(2.molecules via the rapid energy exchange between the photoinduced Br vacancies and CO_(2.*** in situ continuous wave-electron paramagnetic resonance(cw-EPR)and pulsed EPR technologies,we observe that the spin-spin relaxation time(T_(2.)of BiOBr is decreased by 198 ns during the CO_(2.photoreduction reaction,which is further confirmed by the broadened EPR *** result reveals that there is an energy exchange interaction between in situ formed Br vacancies and CO_(2.molecules,which promotes the formation of high-energy CO_(2.molecules to facilitate the subsequent reduction *** addition,theoretical calculations indicate that the bended CO_(2.adsorption configuration on the surface of BiOBr with Br vacancies caused the decrease of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital of the CO_(2.molecule,which makes it easier for CO_(2.molecules to acquire electrons and get *** situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy further shows that the activated CO_(2.molecules are favorably converted to key intermediates of COOH*,resulting in a CO generation rate of 9.1μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)and a selectivity of 100%.This study elucidates the underlying mechanism of CO_(2.activation at active sites and deepens the understanding of CO_(2.photoreduction reaction.

A hybrid memory architecture supporting fine-grained data migration

Hybrid memory systems composed of dynamic random access memory(DRAM)and Non-volatile memory(NVM)often exploit page migration technologies to fully take the advantages of different memory *** previous proposals usually migrate data at a granularity of 4 KB pages,and thus waste memory bandwidth and DRAM *** this paper,we propose Mocha,a non-hierarchical architecture that organizes DRAM and NVM in a flat address space physically,but manages them in a cache/memory *** the commercial NVM device-Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory Modules(DCPMM)actually access the physical media at a granularity of 2.6 bytes(an Optane block),we manage the DRAM cache at the 2.6-byte size to adapt to this feature of *** design not only enables fine-grained data migration and management for the DRAM cache,but also avoids write amplification for Intel Optane *** also create an Indirect Address Cache(IAC)in Hybrid Memory Controller(HMC)and propose a reverse address mapping table in the DRAM to speed up address translation and cache ***,we exploit a utility-based caching mechanism to filter cold blocks in the NVM,and further improve the efficiency of the DRAM *** implement Mocha in an architectural *** results show that Mocha can improve application performance by 8.2.on average(up to 2..6%),reduce 6.9%energy consumption and 2..9%data migration traffic on average,compared with a typical hybrid memory architecture-HSCC.

Hybrid concurrency control protocol for data sharing among heterogeneous blockchains

With the development of information technology and cloud computing,data sharing has become an important part of scientific *** traditional data sharing,data is stored on a third-party storage platform,which causes the owner to lose control of the *** a result,there are issues of intentional data leakage and tampering by third parties,and the private information contained in the data may lead to more significant ***,data is frequently maintained on multiple storage platforms,posing significant hurdles in terms of enlisting multiple parties to engage in data sharing while maintaining *** this work,we propose a new architecture for applying blockchains to data sharing and achieve efficient and reliable data sharing among heterogeneous *** design a new data sharing transaction mechanism based on the system architecture to protect the security of the raw data and the processing *** also design and implement a hybrid concurrency control protocol to overcome issues caused by the large differences in blockchain performance in our system and to improve the success rate of data sharing *** took Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric as examples to conduct crossblockchain data sharing *** results show that our system achieves data sharing across heterogeneous blockchains with reasonable performance and has high scalability.
