Evaluation of Acute Toxicity and Dosim.tric Param.ters in High Risk Prostate Cancer Patients Treated by High Radiation Doses

For high risk prostate cancer, the treatm.nt volum.s and even dose levels are still a controversial issue. The aim.of this study is to evaluate the dosem.tric param.ters and acute toxicity of dose-escalated whole pelvis (WP) Intensity m.dulated Radiation Therapy (Im.T) and volum.tric m.dulated arc therapy (Vm.T) prostate boost following neoadjuvant and concom.tant with androgen deprivation therapy in high-risk prostate cancer patients. This analysis included 73 high-risk prostate cancer patients treated with WP-Im.T followed by boost to the prostate by Vm.T to total dose of 80 Gy;between January 2014 and October 2016. Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) was given for all patients before and during radiation therapy. Drawing the dose volum. histogram. (DVHs) was done for planning target volum.s (PTVs), including Prostate PTV & nodal PTV, and organs at risk including rectum. bladder, fem.ral heads, and bowel bag for the plans. Acute radiation toxicities were reported during the radiation course and the following 3 m.nths. The DVH analysis showed good coverage of PTVs and organs at risk doses were acceptable. No recorded acute Grade ≥ 3 toxicity. Acute grade 1 toxicity for Gastrointestinal (GI) and Genitourinary (GU) were 65% and 35% respectively, while Grade 2 toxicity was 30% for both. The Proctitis and frequency were the com.onest acute toxicity and were m.xim.l during the 5th week of radiation therapy. Dose escalation in two phases utilizing Sim.ltaneous integrated boost (SIB) com.ined with ADT in high risk prostate cancer patient is feasible and associated with acceptable acute GI and GU toxicity.

The diversity of data sources resulted in seeking effective m.nipulation and *** challenge that arises from.the increasing dim.nsionality has a negative effect on the com.utation perform.nce,efficiency,and stability of *** of the m.st successful optim.zation algorithm. is Particle Swarm.Optim.zation(PSO)which has proved its effectiveness in exploring the highest influencing features in the search space based on its fast convergence and the ability to utilize a sm.ll set of param.ters in the search *** research proposes an effective enhancem.nt of PSO that tackles the challenge of random.ess search which directly enhances PSO *** the other hand,this research proposes a generic intelligent fram.work for early prediction of orders delay and elim.nate orders backlogs which could be considered as an efficient potential solution for raising the supply chain *** proposed adapted algorithm.has been applied to a supply chain dataset which m.nim.zed the features set from.twenty-one features to ten significant *** confirm.the proposed algorithm.results,the updated data has been exam.ned by eight of the well-known classification algorithm. which reached a m.nim.m.accuracy percentage equal to 94.3%for random.forest and a m.xim.m.of 99.0 for Naïve ***,the proposed algorithm.adaptation has been com.ared with other proposed adaptations of PSO from.the literature over different *** proposed PSO adaptation reached a higher accuracy com.ared with the literature ranging from.97.8 to 99.36 which also proved the advancem.nt of the current research.

This study includes an experim.ntal and num.rical analysis of the perform.nces of a parabolic trough collector(PTC)with and without cylindrical *** PTC is designed with dim.nsions of 2.00 m.in length and 1.00 m.in *** related reflector is m.de of lined sheets of alum.num.and the tubes are m.de of stainless steel used for the absorption of *** have an outer diam.ter of 0.051 m.and a wall thickness of 0.002 ***,used as a heat transfer fluid(HTF),flows through the absorber tube at a m.ss flow rate of 0.7 kg/*** dim.nsions of cylindrical turbulators are 0.04 m.in length and 0.047 m.in *** are perform.d using the ANSYS Fluent 2020 R2 *** PTC perform.nce is evaluated by com.aring the experim.ntal and num.rical outcom.s,nam.ly,the outlet tem.erature,useful heat,and therm.l efficiency for a m.dified tube(m.)(tube with novel cylindrical turbulators)and a plain tube(PT)(tube without novel cylindrical turbulators).According to the results,the experim.ntal outlet tem.eratures recorded 63.2°C and 50.5°C for the m. and PT,*** heat gain reaches 1137.5 Win the m. and 685.8 Win the *** to the PT collector,the PTC exhibited a(1.64 tim.s)higher efficiency.

Unraveling the nature of sensing in electrostatic m.m. gas sensors

This paper investigates the fundam.ntal sensing m.chanism.of electrostatic m.m. gas *** com.ares am.ng the responsivities of a set of m.m. isopropanol sensors before and after functionalization,and in the presence and absence of electrostatic fields when operated in static and dynam.c detection *** the static m.de,we found that the sensors do not exhibit a m.asurable change in displacem.nt due to added *** the other hand,bare sensors showed a clear change in displacem.nt in response to isopropanol *** the dynam.c m.de,functionalized sensors showed a m.asurable frequency shift due to the added m.ss of isopropanol *** the presence of strong electrostatic fields,the m.asured frequency shift was found to be threefold larger than that in their absence in response to the sam. concentration of isopropanol *** enhanced responsivity of dynam.c detection allows the sensors to m.asure the vapor m.ss captured by the functional m.terial,which is not the case for static *** detection of isopropanol by bare sensors in static m.de shows that change in the m.dium.perm.ttivity is the prim.ry sensing *** enhanced responsivity of dynam.c m.de sensors when operated in strong electrostatic fields shows that their sensing m.chanism.is a com.ination of a weaker added m.ss effect and a stronger perm.ttivity *** findings show that electrostatic m.m. gas sensors are independent of the direction of the gravitational field and are,thus,robust to changes in *** is erroneous to refer to them.as‘gravim.tric’sensors.

The Protective Effect of m.ringa oleifera Leaves Extract on Paracetam.l Hepatotoxicity in m.le Rats

In recent years, there has been an increase in concern regarding the effects of paracetam.l poisoning on liver tissues, particularly when consum.d in large am.unts. Som. studies have estim.ted that paracetam.l is involved in 56% of acute liver diseases, whereas 0.4% of paracetam.l overdose cases result in fatal-ity. In this study, the effects of m.ringa oleifera on paracetam.l toxicity in the liver were explored. It has been dem.nstrated that m.ringa oleifera is highly nu-tritious, contains bioactive m.lecules, and is therapeutically beneficial. m.ny studies have shown that m.ringa oleifera leaves possess a wide range of biologi-cal properties, including antioxidant, tissue protection, analgesic, antihyperten-sive, and im.unom.dulatory activities. This study highlights the protective role of m.ringa oleifera on handling possible paracetam.l hepatotoxicity in m.le rats. .

Five perovskite ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisym.etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized sam.les were experim.ntally m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding param.ters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

To m.et the rapidly increasing dem.nd for energy and the dram.tic depletion of conventional crude oil,it is im.erative to utilize sour *** no coke being produced,oxidative desulfurization(ODS)of naphtha lowers its sulfur content and average m.lecular *** this article,we outline a m.thod for heavy naphtha non-extractive ODS using a very stable *** technique involves the use of a solid catalyst with oxygen gas as the *** necessitated relatively high m.xing intensities;hence a three-phase Oscillatory Baffled Reactor(OBR)was *** catalyst was based on the zeolite ZSm.5,prepared from.natural kaolin by a series of delam.nation and activation steps and im.regnated with Fe.A TiO2 nanolayer was applied,using the sol-gel m.thod,to prevent rapid *** reactor perform.nce was evaluated to m.nim.ze the sulfur content in the naphtha *** to the protective coating,the sulfur conversion stabilized at 90%.The results of this work establish the use of natural clay-based catalysts in a continuous,three-phase ODS,particularly with regard to proving long-term.*** also showed that m.dest ODS can be achieved using an environm.ntally friendly oxidant,at m.ld operating conditions,whilst m.intaining stability.

Designing a Protection Schem. in m.cro-Grid System. with DG Using Central Protection Unite and m.ltiple Setting Group Protection Relays

Distributed generators now is widely used in electrical power networks, in som. cases it works seasonally, and som. types works at special weather conditions like photo voltaic system. and wind energy, and due to this continuous changes in generation condition, the fault current level in network will be affected, this changes in fault current level will affect in the coordination between protection relays and to keep the coordination at right way, an adaptive protection system.is required that can adaptive its setting according to generation changes, the fault current level in each case is evaluated using ETAP software, and the required relay setting in each case is also evaluated using Grey Wolf Optim.zer (GWO) algorithm. and to select suitable setting which required in each condition, to select the active setting group of protection relay according to generation capacity, central protection unite can be used, and to im.rove protection stability and m.nim.zing relays tripping tim., a proposed m.thod for selecting suitable backup relay is used, which leads to decrease relays tripping tim. and increase system.stability, output settings for relays in all cases achieved our constrains.

Salinity is a m.jor abiotic stress that hinders plant developm.nt and productivity and influences agricultural *** prim.ng is a technique used to boost germ.nation and seedling growth under abiotic stress.A pot experim.nt was conducted to evaluate the im.act of seed prim.ng with potassium.nitrate(KNO_(3))at various levels(0%,0.50%,1.00%and 1.50%)under salt stress(0,75,100 m. NaCl)on two m.ize verities(m.H360 and 30T60)for the growth,developm.nt and m.tabolic attributes results revealed that in m.ize variety m.H360,KNO_(3)prim.ng’s significantly enhanced growth param.ters than in m.ize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed *** with KNO_(3)enhanced carotenoids and total chlorophyll in the 30T60 variety that protected the m.ize plants from.salt ***,it was shown that prim.ng with 1.00%KNO_(3)acts as safeguarded to protect them.from.oxidative dam.ge by salt stress m.nim.zing reactive oxygen species(ROS)form.tion through increased levels of m.londialdehyde(m.A),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and total soluble *** findings of the present study confirm.that the use of the KNO_(3)seed prim.ng technique is a lowcost,environm.ntally friendly technique for m.tigating adverse im.acts of salt stress in m.ize crops by activating the antioxidant defense system.and im.roving chlorophyll and osm.lyte contents.
