An Al/SiO_(2)/p-Si(MOS)capacitor with a thick(826Å)interfacial oxide layer(SiO_(2))which is formed by using the thermal oxidation method is fabricated to investigate both frequency and applied bias voltage dependences of real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant(ϵ'andϵ")and electric modulus(M'and M"),loss tangent(tanδ)and ac electrical conductivity(σ_(ac))in a wide frequency range from 1 kHz to 1 MHz at room *** dielectric properties of the MOS capacitor are obtained using the forward and reverse bias capacitance-voltage(C–V)and conductance-voltage(G/ω–V)measurements in the applied bias voltage range 1.4–5.6 *** values ofϵ',ϵ",tanδ,M',M"and σ_(ac) are found to be strong functions of frequency and applied bias voltage in the depletion region due to excess capacitance Cex and conductance G_(ex)/ω especially at low *** experimental results show that the interfacial polarization can occur at low frequencies more easily,consequently contributing to the dispersion inϵ',ϵ",tanδ,M',M"and σ_(ac) values of the MOS *** other reason for dispersion in the dielectric properties may be attributed to a particular density distribution of interface states(Nss)localized at the Si/SiO_(2) interface,as well as space charge carriers and inhomogeneity of interfacial oxide *** increase in conductivity with increasing frequency can be attributed to the hopping type conduction *** can be concluded that theϵ',ϵ",tanδ,M',M"and σ_(ac) values of the Al/SiO_(2)/p-Si(MOS)capacitor are strongly dependent on both the frequency and applied bias voltage especially in the depletion region.

In this paper, Differential Transform Method (DTM) is proposed for the closed form solution of linear and non-linear stiff systems. First, we apply DTM to find the series solution which can be easily converted into exact solution. The method is described and illustrated with different examples and figures are plotted accordingly. The obtained result confirm that DTM is very easy, effective and convenient.

Objective:To investigate the effect of the first prone position on arterial blood gas analysis and respiratory parameters of acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)patients with and without ***:This study was conducted retrospectively with 22 COVID-ARDS and 22 non-COVID ARDS patients,who were placed in a prone position for at least 16 hours on the first day at the intensive care unit admission,and arterial blood gas analysis was taken in the pre-prone,prone and post-prone ***:PaO2 were significantly increased in the pre-prone *** comparison in both groups,but the increase in the PaO2/FiO2 ratio was not *** comparing the pre-prone ***-prone PaO2/FiO2 ratios,there was a significant difference only in the non-COVID ARDS ***:The improved oxygenation provided by prone positioning is more permanent with the“post-prone effect”in non-COVID ARDS *** can be attributed to the differences in the pathogenesis of the two ARDS types.

Computerized power management system with fast and optimal communication network overcomes all major discrepancies of undue or inadequate load relief that were present in old conventional systems. This paper presents the basic perception and methodology of modern and true intelligent load shedding scheme in micro grids topology by employing TCP/IP protocol for fast and intelligent switching. The network understudy performs load management and power distribution intelligently in a unified network. Generated power is efficiently distributed among local loads through fast communication system of server in the form of source and clients in the form of loads through TCP/IP. The efficient use of information between server and clients enables to astutely control the load shedding in a power system of micro grids system. The processing time of above stated system comes out to be 10 ms faster than others which ensure very less delay as compared to conventional methods. The Micro Grids system operating through TCP/IP control has been implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK and results have been verified.

The paper is concerned with the Power System Protection schemes and the resulting design requirement that enhances stability as well as control with the implementation of TCP/IP. It discusses the architecture that upgrades the existing scheme by controlling all the control signals traffic between generating units, transmission system, connected loads and protection devices that are sensitive to control signals using TCP/IP and results are compared using Graphics User Interface (GUI) in MATLAB/Simulink. Protection system describes latest breakers circuit using indirect tripping command from generating units that protects load side through load breakers that receives action signal from local controllers that have a direct communication linkage with main server having strong data base, directly monitors everything through TCP/IP platform using GUI.

In this study, porous silicon layers manufactured by using (100), 1-5 ohm cm p-type(boron doped) wafer by electrochemical etching in HF ethanol solution. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) features of anodically etched silicon obtained for different conditions studied and surface characteristics are investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The room temperature PL spectra of chosen two samples prepared show a characteristic peak located at 652 nm (red) and 439 nm (blue). Obtained blue emission is high intense and stable. The porous layer of blue emitting sample is treated with acetone and HF in order to discern the blue PL mechanism source. Analysis of the FTIR data shows that the photoluminescence at this wavelength (439 nm) is not due to the oxide related defects and the carbon contamination but based on the porosity and surface related characteristics such as, the ratio of distance between pores and diameter of the pores obtained from AFM data. The blue emitting porous layers are obtained only by electrochemical etching without using special way of oxidizing, post illumination as done in many studies. The result may aid the development of light emitting diodes (LEDs), displays and photo detectors in the ultraviolet region which can be achieved by using only electrochemically etched silicon.
