Nine new germacranolides,sylvaticalides A−H(1-9),and three known analogues(10-12)were isolated from the aeri-al part of Vernonia *** structures were established using comprehensive spectroscopic analysis,including high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy(HR-ESI-MS)and 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)*** absolute configurations were determined by X-ray diffraction *** anti-inflammatory activities of all isolated compounds were as-sessed by evaluating their inhibitory effects on the nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)pathway,which was activated by lipopolysacchar-ide(LPS)-stimulated human THP1-Dual cells,and the interferon-stimulated gene(ISG)pathway,activated by STING agonist MSA-2 in the same cell *** 1,2 and 6 showed inhibitory effects on the NF-κB and ISG signaling pathways,with IC_(50)values ranging from 4.12 to 10.57μmol·L^(−1).

The activity and selectivity of electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to C_(2)products on metal catalysts can be regulated by molecular ***,the mechanism behind it remains elusive and ***,copper nanowires(Cu NWs)were fabricated and decorated with cobalt phthalocyanine(CoPc).The electronic interaction between the Cu NWs,CoPc,CO_(2) and CO_(2)RR intermediates were explored by density functional theory(DFT)*** was found that the selectivity and activity of CO_(2)RR towards C_(2)products on Cu NWs were considerably enhanced from 35.2%to 69.9%by surface decoration of *** calculations revealed that CO_(2)RR can proceed in the interphase between Cu substrate and CoPc,and the CO_(2)RR intermediates could synergistically bond with both Cu and Co metal centre in CuNWs-CoPc,which favours the adsorption of CO_(2),CO and CO_(2)RR intermediates,thus reducing the free energy for CO-COcoupling towards C_(2)*** synergistic interaction was further extended to phthalocyanine(Pc)and other metal phthalocyanine derivatives(MPc),where a relatively weaker synergistic interaction of COintermediates with MPc and Cu substrate and only a slight enhancement of CO_(2)RR towards C_(2) products were *** study demonstrates a synergistic catalysis pathway for CO_(2)RR,a novel perspective in interpreting the role of CoPc in enhancing the activity and selectivity of CO_(2)RR on Cu NWs,in contrast to the conventional tandem catalysis mechanism.

While heteroatom doping serves as a powerful strategy for devising novel polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs), the further fine-tuning of optoelectronic properties via the precisely altering of doping patterns remains a challenge. Herein, by changing the doping positions of heteroatoms in a diindenopyrene skeleton, we report two isomeric boron, sulfur-embedded PAHs, named Anti-B_(2)S_(2) and Syn-B_(2)S_(2), as electron transporting semiconductors. Detailed structure-property relationship studies revealed that the varied heteroatom positions not only change their physicochemical properties, but also largely affect their solid-state packing modes and Lewis base-triggered photophysical responses. With their low-lying frontier molecular orbital levels, n-type characteristics with electron mobilities up to 1.5 × 10^(-3)cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1)were achieved in solution-processed organic field-effect transistors. Our work revealed the critical role of controlling heteroatom doping patterns for designing advanced PAHs.

Vanadium-based cathode materials are attractive for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)owing to the high capacity from their open frameworks and multiple ***,the cycle stability and rate capability are still restricted by the low electrical conductivity and trapped diffusion ***,we propose an organic-inorganic co-intercalation strategy to regulate the structure of ammonium vanadate(NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10),NVO).The introduction of Al^(3+)and polyaniline(PANI)induces the optimized layered structure and generation of urchin-like hierarchical construction(AP-NVO),based on heterogeneous nucleation and dissolution-recrystallization growth *** to these favorable features,the AP-NVO electrode delivers a desirable discharge capacity of 386 mA h g^(-1) at 1.0 A g^(-1),high-rate capability of 263 mA h g^(-1 )at 5.0 A g^(-1) and excellent cycling stability with 80.4%capacity retention over 2000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1).Such satisfactory electrochemical performance is believed to result from the enhanced reaction kinetics provided by the stable layered structure and a high intercalation pseudo-capacitance *** results could provide enlightening insights into the design of layered vanadium oxide cathodematerials.

The analysis of interwell connectivity plays an important role in the formulation of oilfield development plans and the description of residual oil distribution. In fact, sandstone reservoirs in China's onshore oilfields generally have the characteristics of thin and many layers, so multi-layer joint production is usually adopted. It remains a challenge to ensure the accuracy of splitting and dynamic connectivity in each layer of the injection-production wells with limited field data. The three-dimensional well pattern of multi-layer reservoir and the relationship between injection-production wells can be equivalent to a directional heterogeneous graph. In this paper, an improved graph neural network is proposed to construct an interacting process mimics the real interwell flow regularity. In detail, this method is used to split injection and production rates by combining permeability, porosity and effective thickness, and to invert the dynamic connectivity in each layer of the injection-production wells by attention *** on the material balance and physical information, the overall connectivity from the injection wells,through the water injection layers to the production layers and the output of final production wells is established. Meanwhile, the change of well pattern caused by perforation, plugging and switching of wells at different times is achieved by updated graph structure in spatial and temporal ways. The effectiveness of the method is verified by a combination of reservoir numerical simulation examples and field example. The method corresponds to the actual situation of the reservoir, has wide adaptability and low cost, has good practical value, and provides a reference for adjusting the injection-production relationship of the reservoir and the development of the remaining oil.

HMGA2,a pivotal transcription factor,functions as a versatile regulator implicated in the progression of diverse aggressive *** this study,mass spectrometry was employed to identify ubiquitin-specific proteases that potentially interact with HMGA2,and USP48 was identified as a deubiquitinating enzyme of *** enforced expression of USP48 significantly increased HMGA2 protein levels by inhibiting its degradation,while the deprivation of USP48 promoted HMGA2 degradation,thereby suppressing tumor invasion and *** discovered that USP48 undergoes SUMOylation at lysine 258,which enhances its binding affinity to *** subsequent phenotypic screening of small molecules,we identified DUB-IN-2 as a remarkably potent pharmacological inhibitor of ***,the small-molecule inhibitor targeting USP48 induces destabilization of ***,upregulation of USP48 or HMGA2 in cancerous tissues is indicative of poor prognosis for patients with colorectal cancer(CRC).Collectively,our study not only elucidates the regulatory mechanism of DUBs involved in HMGA2 stability and validates USP48 as a potential therapeutic target for CRC,but also identifies DUB-IN-2 as a potent inhibitor of USP48 and a promising candidate for CRC treatment.

Persistence of fertilization effects on soil organic carbon in degraded alpine wetlands in the Yellow River source region

In the restoration of degraded wetlands,fertilization can improve the vegetation-soil-microorganisms complex,thereby affecting the organic carbon ***,it is currently unclear whether these effects are *** study employed Biolog-Eco surveys to investigate the changes in vegetation characteristics,soil physicochemical properties,and soil microbial functional diversity in degraded alpine wetlands of the source region of the Yellow River at 3 and 15 months after the application of nitrogen,phosphorus,and organic mixed *** following results were obtained:The addition of nitrogen fertilizer and organic compost significantly affects the soil organic carbon content in degraded *** months after fertilization,nitrogen addition increases soil organic carbon in both lightly and severely degraded wetlands,whereas after 15 months,organic compost enhanced the soil organic carbon level in severely degraded *** equation modeling indicates that fertilization decreases the soil pH and directly or indirectly influences the soil organic carbon levels through variations in the soil water content and the aboveground biomass of *** months after fertilization,nitrogen fertilizer showed a direct positive effect on soil organic ***,organic mixed fertilizer indirectly reduced soil organic carbon by increasing biomass and decreasing soil *** 15 months,none of the fertilizers significantly affected the soil organic carbon *** summary,it can be inferred that the addition of nitrogen fertilizer lacks sustainability in positively influencing the organic carbon content.

Silicon quantum dots(SiQDs)with high water-soluble and favorable photostability were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal *** average diameter of SiQDs was 2.02 nm characterized by transmission electron *** was to be noted that the as-prepared SiQDs showed eff ective antibacterial activity,which was attributed to electrostatic interaction and the generation of reactive oxygen *** minimum inhibitory concentration of SiQDs against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was 0.45 mg/mL and 0.38 mg/mL,***,based on the static quenching eff ect-induced fluorescence quenching mechanism,the SiQDs exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity for detecting tetracyclines(TC).A good linear relationship was obtained between the fluorescence intensity of SiQDs and the concentration of tetracycline(TC)in the range of 0–0.08μmol/L(R^(2)=0.9993)with a detection limit of 0.0176μmol/***,the TC content in the honey samples was determined using the *** the results suggest that the as-prepared SiQDs can be a potential fluorescent probe for application in antibacterial and analysis.
