On January 1,2024,a devastating M 7.6 earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula,Ishikawa Prefecture,Japan,resulting in significant casualties and property *** information from the first six days after the earthquake,this article analyzes the seismic source characteristics,disaster situation,and emergency response of this *** results show:1)The earthquake rupture was of the thrust type,with aftershock distribution showing a north-east-oriented belt-like feature of 150 km.2)Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)and Interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR),observations detected significant westward to north-westward co-seismic displacement near the epicenter,with the maximum horizontal displacement reaching 1.2 m and the vertical uplift displacement reaching 4 m.A two-segment fault inversion model fits the observational data well.3)Near the epicenter,large Peak Ground Velocity(PGV)and Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA)were observed,with the maxima reaching 145 cm/s and 2681 gal,respectively,and the intensity reached the highest level 7 on the Japanese(Japan Meteorological Agency,JMA)intensity standard,which is higher than level 10 of the United States Geological Survey(USGS)Modified Mercalli Intensity(MMI)standard.4)The observation of the very rare multiple strong pulse-like ground motion(PLGM)waveform poses a topic worthy of research in the field of earthquake engineering.5)As of January 7,the earthquake had left 128 deaths and 560 injuries in Ishikawa Prefecture,with 1305 buildings completely or partially destroyed,and had triggered a chain of disasters including tsunamis,fires,slope failures,and road ***,this paper summarizes the emergency rescue,information dissemination,and other disaster response and management measures taken in response to this *** work provides a reference case for carrying out effective responses,and offers lessons for handling similar events in the future.

Neural networks have achieved impressive breakthroughs in both industry and *** to effectively develop neural networks on quantum computing devices is a challenging open ***,we propose a new quantum neural network model for quantum neural computing using(classically controlled)single-qubit operations and measurements on real-world quantum systems with naturally occurring environment-induced decoherence,which greatly reduces the difficulties of physical *** model circumvents the problem that the state-space size grows exponentially with the number of neurons,thereby greatly reducing memory requirements and allowing for fast optimization with traditional optimization *** benchmark our model for handwritten digit recognition and other nonlinear classification *** results show that our model has an amazing nonlinear classification ability and robustness to ***,our model allows quantum computing to be applied in a wider context and inspires the earlier development of a quantum neural computer than standard quantum computers.

Thiolate-protected atomically precise nanoclusters(NCs)demonstrate a series of unique luminescent characteristics attributed to their various peculiar electronic ***,fluorescent NCs present extraordinary practical values in biosensing and bioimaging research ***,restricted by the types of fluorescent NCs,there are great difficulties in promoting the development of NCs in fluorescent research *** a result,it is of significant necessity for researchers to develop new synthetic pathways to produce high-quality fluorescent *** to the analysis about the structural characteristics of fluorescent NCs,some general features like longer motif and higher ligand-to-metal ratio can be found,consistent to some presented regularities in etching ***,in this work,we used Au_(25)(MHA)_(18)(MHA=6-mercaptohexanoic acid)as a model nanocluster and utilized the etching reaction to systematically explore etching products and their corresponding luminescent ***,we also identified three main reaction processes in the entire etching reaction process,which can generate new metal nanocluster species with various fluorescent ***,the etching reaction will provide a good platform to produce new luminescent metal NC species.

Flowering time and growth period are key agronomic traits which directly affect soybean(Glycine max(L.)Merr.)adaptation to diverse latitudes and farming *** FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)homologs GmFT2a and GmFT5a integrate multiple flowering regulation pathways and significantly advance flowering and maturity in *** the genes responsible for regulating GmFT2a and GmFT5a will improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing growth period in *** this study,we identified the Nuclear Factor Y-C(NFY-C)protein GmNF-YC4 as a novel flowering suppressor in soybean under long-day(LD)***-YC4 delays flowering and maturation by directly repressing the expression of GmFT2a and *** addition,we found that a strong selective sweep event occurred in the chromosomal region harboring the GmNF-YC4 gene during soybean *** GmNF-YC4Hap3 allele was mainly found in wild soybean(Glycine soja Siebold&Zucc.)and has been eliminated from *** landraces and improved cultivars,which predominantly contain the GmNF-YC4Hap1 ***,the Gmnf-yc4 mutants displayed notably accelerated flowering and maturation under LD *** alleles may prove to be valuable genetic resources for enhancing soybean adaptability to higher latitudes.

Time series anomaly detection is crucial in various industrial applications to identify unusual behaviors within the time series *** to the challenges associated with annotating anomaly events,time series reconstruction has become a prevalent approach for unsupervised anomaly ***,effectively learning representations and achieving accurate detection results remain challenging due to the intricate temporal patterns and dependencies in real-world time *** this paper,we propose a cross-dimension attentive feature fusion network for time series anomaly detection,referred to as ***,a series and feature mixing block is introduced to learn representations in 1D ***,a fast Fourier transform is employed to convert the time series into 2D space,providing the capability for 2D feature ***,a cross-dimension attentive feature fusion mechanism is designed that adaptively integrates features across different dimensions for anomaly *** results on real-world time series datasets demonstrate that CAFFN performs better than other competing methods in time series anomaly detection.

Eight zwitterionic rare earth metal complexes stabilized by amino-bridged tris(phenolato)ligands bearing quaternary ammonium side-arms were synthesized and *** complexes were used as single-component catalysts for the cycloaddition of CO_(2)and epoxides,and their catalytic activities are obviously higher than those of their binary *** studies revealed that the halide anions(Cl^(–),Br^(–),I^(–))and the metal complexes influenced the catalytic activity,and the lanthanum complex bearing iodide anion showed the highest catalytic activity for this addition reaction.A variety of mono-substituted epoxides were converted to cyclic carbonates in good to excellent yields(55%—99%)with high selectivity(>99%)at 30℃and 1 bar CO_(2),whereas internal epoxides required higher both reaction temperatures(60—120℃)and catalyst loading(2 mol%)for high *** catalyst was recyclable for four times without noticeable loss of catalytic *** on the results of kinetic studies and in℃situ IR reactions,a plausible reaction mechanism was proposed.

UAV marine monitoring plays an essential role in marine environmental protection because of its flexibility and convenience,low cost and convenient *** marine environmental monitoring,the similarity between objects such as oil spill and sea surface,Spartina alterniflora and algae is high,and the effect of the general segmentation algorithm is poor,which brings new challenges to the segmentation of UAV marine *** segmentation can do object detection and semantic segmentation at the same time,which can well solve the polymorphism problem of objects in UAV ocean ***,there are few studies on UAV marine image recognition with panoptic *** addition,there are no publicly available panoptic segmentation datasets for UAV *** this work,we collect and annotate UAV images to form a panoptic segmentation UAV dataset named UAV-OUC-SEG and propose a panoptic segmentation method named ***,to deal with the large intraclass variability in scale,deformable convolution and CBAM attention mechanism are employed in the backbone to obtain more accurate ***,due to the complexity and diversity of marine images,boundary masks by the Laplacian operator equation from the ground truth are merged into feature maps to improve boundary segmentation *** demonstrate the advantages of PanopticUAV beyond the most other advanced approaches on the UAV-OUC-SEG dataset.

Surface plasmon-coupled radiative heat transfer between graphene-covered magnetic Weyl semimetals

Weyl semimetals(WSMs) have recently attracted considerable research attention because of their remarkable optical and electrical properties. In this study, we investigate the near-field radiative heat transfer(NFRHT) between graphene-covered Weyl slabs, particularly focusing on the supported coupled surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs). Unlike bare Weyl slabs where the epsilon-near-zero(ENZ) effect contributes the most to the NFRHT, adding a monolayer graphene sheet yields coupled SPPs, i.e.,the coupling of graphene SPPs(GSPPs) and Weyl SPPs(WSPPs), which dominates the NFRHT. The graphene sheet greatly suppresses the ENZ effect by compressing the parallel wavevector, thereby enabling the heat transfer coefficient(HTC) to be significantly changed. Further, for the graphene-covered magnetic Weyl slab configuration, an increase in the number of Weyl nodes suppresses the SPP coupling and ENZ effect, thereby weakening the NFRHT with a regulation ratio of 4.4 whereas an increase in the Fermi level slightly influences the NFRHT. Several typical heterostructures are also proposed for comparison, and results show that a mono-cell structure has the largest total HTC. Our findings will facilitate the understanding of surface plasmon-coupled radiative heat transfer and enable opportunities in energy harvesting and thermal management at the nanoscale based on WSM-based systems.
