Neural-field-assisted transport-of-intensity phase microscopy: partially coherent quantitative phase imaging under unknown defocus distance

The transport-of-intensity equation(TIE) enables quantitative phase imaging(QPI) under partially coherent illumination by measuring the through-focus intensities combined with a linearized inverse reconstruction algorithm. However, overcoming its sensitivity to imaging settings remains a challenging problem because of the difficulty in tuning the optical parameters of the imaging system accurately and because of the instability to long-time measurements. To address these limitations, we propose and experimentally validate a solution called neural-field-assisted transport-of-intensity phase microscopy(NFTPM) by introducing a tunable defocus parameter into neural field. Without weak object approximation, NFTPM incorporates the physical prior of partially coherent image formation to constrain the neural field and learns the continuous representation of phase object without the need for training. Simulation and experimental results of He La cells demonstrate that NFTPM can achieve accurate, partially coherent QPI under unknown defocus distances, providing new possibilities for extending applications in live cell biology.

Baicalin(BA)is a flavonoid extracted from the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi with excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory biological *** this study,Eudragit S100 was used as the colonic target material to prepare BA colonic targeting granules(EBCGs)based on plasticizer dry powder coating technology to improve the targeting transportation performance of *** vitro studies showed that EBCGs with pH-sensitive properties were successfully prepared by plasticizer dry powder coating,and in vivo animal imaging studies showed that EBCGs could deliver BA to the colon and inhibit the release of BA in the upper gastrointestinal tract(GIT).In vivo studies showed that EBCGs had good therapeutic effects in colitis,which reduced expression levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and increased superoxide dismutase(SOD)activities in the colonic tissues of rats with *** conclusion,Eudragit S100 could be used for the preparation of multi-unit oral colon-targeted formulations by plasticizer dry powder coating technology,and our prepared EBCGs had good colon-targeting properties,which could improve the therapeutic effect and provide a potential application for ulcerative colitis(UC).

All inorganic CsPbX_(3)(X=Cl,Br,and I)perovskite nanocrystals have made unprecedented radical progresses for opto-electronic applications,but their instability and toxicity of lead impede their wide ***,we report the first precipitation of leadfree Mn:Cs_(2)ZnX_(4) nanocrystals in *** green and red photoluminescence are realized from these Mn:Cs_(2)ZnX_(4 )nanocrystals in *** adjusting the size and halide component in these nanocrystals,coordination environment of Mn^(2+)ions can be tuned,leading to tunable photoluminescence with improved quantum *** is illustrated that in-situ precipitation of these Mn:Cs_(2)ZnX_(4) nanocrystals in glasses significantly improves their thermal-,chemical-,and photo-stabilities,making them promising for light-emitting diodes with stable chromaticity coordinates.

Estimation of the anisotropy of hydraulic conductivity through 3D fracture networks using the directional geological entropy

With an extension of the geological entropy concept in porous media,the approach called directional entrogram is applied to link hydraulic behavior to the anisotropy of the 3D fracture networks.A metric called directional entropic scale is used to measure the anisotropy of spatial order in different *** with the traditional connectivity indexes based on the statistics of fracture geometry,the directional entropic scale is capable to quantify the anisotropy of connectivity and hydraulic conductivity in heterogeneous 3D fracture *** to the numerical analysis of directional entrogram and fluid flow in a number of the 3D fracture networks,the hydraulic conductivities and entropic scales in different directions both increase with spatial order(i.e.,trace length decreasing and spacing increasing)and are independent of the dip *** a result,the nonlinear correlation between the hydraulic conductivities and entropic scales from different directions can be unified as quadratic polynomial function,which can shed light on the anisotropic effect of spatial order and global entropy on the heterogeneous hydraulic behaviors.

Electric power grids are evolving into complex cyber-physical power systems(CPPSs)that integrate advanced information and communication technologies(ICTs)but face increasing cyberspace threats and *** study considers CPPS cyberspace security under distributed denial of service(DDoS)attacks and proposes a nonzero-sum game-theoretical model with incomplete information for appropriate allocation of defense resources based on the availability of limited *** time delay is applied to quantify the expected utility as CPPSs have high time requirements and incur massive damage DDoS *** resource allocation strategies are adopted by attackers and defenders under the three cases of attack-free,failed attack,and successful attack,which lead to a corresponding consumption of resources.A multidimensional node value analysis is designed to introduce physical and cybersecurity *** experiments and numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model for the appropriate allocation of defense resources in CPPSs under limited resource availability.

目的测量不同年龄组儿童上颌第一乳磨牙的解剖参数,评估牙冠增龄性变化。方法回顾性分析评估了154例4~8岁儿童患者308颗上颌第一乳磨牙的锥形束计算机断层扫描(CBCT)图像。用NNT软件分析上颌第一乳磨牙的多个重要指标。结果髓顶厚度H1(左侧,P=0.01;右侧,P=0.02)和髓室底厚度H3(左右侧P<0.01)与年龄呈正相关,而髓腔高度H2(左右侧P<0.01)和腭尖的高度D1(左侧P=0.003,右侧P=0.002)与年龄呈负相关。颊尖的高度与年龄无关。4、5岁年龄组与8岁年龄组之间的H1和H3差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),4、5岁年龄组与6、7岁和8岁年龄组之间的H2和D1差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论上颌第一乳磨牙牙冠的年龄相关性变化是临床治疗的重要参考依据,可以通过CBCT数据进行精确测量。

构建表面无机-有机复合包覆层,用于改善高镍层状(NCM811)正极材料结构和界面不稳定问题。复合包覆层由纳米偏铝酸锂(LiAlO_(2),LAO)和环化聚丙烯腈(cPAN)构成。该复合包覆层中LAO是一种典型的锂离子导体,可提供Li^(+)迁移通道;PAN环化后,可产生离域的π键,形成具有电子导电性的cPAN。材料表面复合包覆层的结构及成分研究表明,该复合包覆层均匀分布在NCM811材料表面。半电池测试结果表明,在2.7~4.3 V(vs Li/Li^(+))电压范围内,在180 mA·g^(-1)电流密度下,改性后的NCM811材料循环150周后容量保持率为84.8%。而同样条件下,原始NCM811材料容量保持率为65.5%。该复合包覆层可有效提升NCM811结构和界面稳定性,减少电解液分解,降低界面阻抗。

Huangqin Decoction Attenuates DSS-Induced Mucosal Damage and Promotes Epithelial Repair via Inhibiting TNF-α-Induced NF-κB Activation

Objective:To investigate the protective effect of Chinese herbal formula Huangqin Decoction(HQD)on ulcerative colitis mouse model induced by dextran sulphate sodium(DSS)and human intestinal epithelial cell injury induced by tumour necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Methods:In vivo,30 male C57BL/6 mice were divided into 5 groups using a random number table(n=6 per group),including control,DSS,5-aminosalicylic acid(5-ASA),HQD low-(HQD-L)and high-dose(HQD-H)*** colitis mouse model was established by 3%(w/v)DSS water for 5 ***,mice in the HQD-L,HQD-H and 5-ASA groups were administrated with 100,200 mg/kg HQD or 100 mg/kg 5-ASA,respectively,once daily by *** 9 days of administration,the body weight,disease activity index(DAI)score and colon length of mice were measured,the pathological changes of colons were analyzed by hematoxylin-eosin staining(HE)staining,and the levels of serum interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1βand TNF-αwere measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent *** vitro,the human colon epithelial normal cells(FHC cells)were exposed to HQD(0.6 mg/mL)for 12 h and then treated with TNF-α(10 ng/mL)for 24 *** tight junction(TJ)protein expression levels of Claudin-4 and Occludin,and the protein phosphorylation levels of p65 and inhibitor of nuclear factor kappaB(NF-κB)-α(IκBα)were measured by Western ***:In vivo,compared with the DSS group,HQD-H treatment attenuated the weight loss and reduced DAI score of mice on the 8th day(P<0.05).Moreover,HQD-H treatment ameliorated the colon shortening in the DSS-induced colitis mice(P<0.05).HE staining showed HQD attenuated the pathological changes of colitis mice,and the histological scores of HQD-H and 5-ASA groups were significantly decreased compared with the DSS group(P<0.05).Meanwhile,HQD-H and 5-ASA significantly decreased the serum IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-αlevels of mice(P<0.05).In vitro experiments showed that HQD up-regulated Occludin and Claudin-4 protein expressions and inhibited p-p65 and p-IκBαlevel

Integrated micro and nanostructures,heterogeneous components,defects,and interfaces is the way to develop high-performance microwave absorbing ***,there still needs to be more precise experimental routes and effective *** this work,by a continuous process of vacuum sintering,hydrothermal,and carbon thermal reduction,magnetic FeCo nanoparticles were successfully embedded on the hollow double-shell mesoporous SiC@C surface,thus solving the challenges of a single component loss *** hollow double-shell nanostructure introduces air to enhance impedance matching while significantly reducing the density of the *** extensive defects and heterogeneous grain boundaries effectively enhance the polarization loss *** magnetic loss mechanism introduced by the magnetic particles effectively improves the impedance matching properties of the *** synergy of these multiple advantages has enabled the SCFC_(2)-8(here SiC@C@FeCo is abbreviated to SCFC,2 represents the initial metal ion content,and 8 represents the hydrothermal time)sample to achieve an adequate absorption bandwidth of 6.09 GHz at 2.0 *** a minimum reflection loss of-60.56 dB,the absorption bandwidth can cover the entire C,X,and Ku bands by adjusting the matching thickness(1.3–4.0 mm).This work provides a valuable paradigm for the deeper exploitation of microwave absorption potential and guides the development of other high-performance materials.
