BACKGROUND: The resolution of hepatitis C, evidenced by normalization of liver function and disappearance of hepatitis C virus RNA from serum as determined by conventional laboratory assays, reflects virus eradication. But in interferon treated patients the HCV RNA in serum sometimes could not show the virus in cells. Such factors as virus genotype, HCV RNA contents in serum, HCV specific cellular immunities after treatment were reported to predict the response to interferon therapy. In most patients, HCV RNA could detect the virus in peripheral blood mononucle-ar cell. The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive value of HCV RNA in PBMC of patients with chronic hepatitis C after interferon treatment. METHODS: Sixteen patients with chronic hepatitis C were treated with interferon for 24 weeks, and they all get complete responses at 12 weeks of treatment. At the end of treatment, the HCV RNA in PBMC and serum were detected by RT-PCR, and after stopping treatment, HCV RNA in serum was monitored continually. RESULTS: In 9 patients who were HCV RNA positive in their PBMC at the end of treatment, 8 showed serum HCV RNA positive after 24 weeks and another 1 after 1 year. In 7 patients with negative HCV RNA in their PBMC, only 2 patients relapsed in serum HCV RNA after 1-year follow-up, and others remained viral response after 3.5 years. CONCLUSION: HCV RNA in PBMC at the end of IFN treatment is a predictor of durable response to antiviral therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis C.

From a cognitive perspective, relevance theory claims that human attention and processing resources go to information that seems relevant. According to Gutt, relevance is context-dependent. Despite the fact that there is a lack of unanimous agreement as to what actually the constituents of context are, it is now commonly known that successful communication can be brought about when the communicators share a specific cognitive enviromnent, which is shaped dynamically with efforts from both the addresser and the addressee. According to Gutt（1991） as well as Wilson＆Matsui（1998）, the handling of expectation?effort and contextual effect can well affect the degree of ptimal relevance? This paper presumes that there is a Selective Mechanism operating on the mind of the translator, and tries to probe into the process of it functioning on the part of the translator, with optimal relevance as the target and context as basis for comprehension, to see how the Selective Mechanism plays its important role in bringing about the successful context-dependent optimal relevance, its function centering around handling expectation?effort and effect, specifically at the logical?religious and aesthetic levels as observed in the two translation versions of one of the 4 or 5 traditional Chinese classics Journey to the West. With my efforts in this paper, I hope it will be able to help add to the consideration in evaluating the quality of translation works.

Hydroxyapatite nanoparticles(HANPs)have been increasingly regarded and reported due to their potential anti-tumor ***,we found that the rod-like HANPs had good application potential for cutaneous melanoma(CMM).To satisfy the actual requirements in repairing post-operative skin defects and inhibiting CMM recurrence after tumorectomy,we constructed a novel chitosan/alginate(CS/Alg)hydrogel containing the aforementioned *** in vitro cell experiments confirmed that activated mitochondrial-dependent apoptosis was tightly related to the anti-tumor ability of ***,we further discovered several target proteins might be involved in abnormal activating Wnt,proteoglycans in cancer,oxidative phosphorylation and p53 signaling *** in vivo animal experiments demonstrated that the HANPsloaded CS/Alg hydrogel(CS/Alg/HANPs)had a similar effect on inhibiting tumor growth as HANPs,and CS/Alg hydrogel as well as phosphate buffered saline(PBS)group(control)not showed any effect,proving the key role of *** immunohistochemical staining demonstrated a tumor inhibition via the mitochondria-mediated apoptosis pathway,consistent with the in vitro ***,CS/Alg/HANPs exhibited no additional biosafety risk to the functions of major ***,this CS/Alg/HANPs hydrogel has substantial application potential for treating CMM.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of Baishao Luoshi decoction(白芍络石方,BD)on synaptic plasticity in rats with post stroke spasticity(PSS),and to study the mechanism behind the ***:The PSS model of rat was established by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).The neurological deficit symptoms were evaluated by modified neurological deficit score(mN SS).Muscle tension were evaluated by Modified Ashworth score(MAS).Transmission electron microscopy(TEM)was used to observe the synaptic *** expression of synaptic plasticity-related protein brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),growth associated protein-43(GAP43),synaptophysin(p38)and microtubule-associated protein 2(MAP2)in the brain tissue around the infarct were detected by Western ***:We found that mNSS were significantly improved and limb spasticity was ameliorated treated by *** thickness of postsynaptic density and the synaptic curvature increased *** expression of synaptic plasticity-related protein BDNF,GAP43,p38,MAP2 in the brain tissue around the infarct were raised remarkably after treated by ***:Alleviating PSS by BD may be related to rescuing the synaptic plasticity,which provides a probable new therapeutic method for PSS.

The increasing radio frequency interference(RFI)is a well-recognized problem in radio astronomy *** and Fast Radio Bursts(FRBs)are high-priority science targets of the ongoing Commercial Radio Astronomy FAST Survey(CRAFTS).To improve the quality of RFI removal in searches of pulsars and FRBs based on CRAFTS multi-beam data,we here propose an intuitive but powerful RFI mitigation pipeline(CCF-ST).The“CCF-ST”is a spatial filter constructed by signal cross-correlation function(CCF)and Sum-Threshold(ST)*** RFI marking result is saved in a“mask”file,a binary format for RFI masks in *** known pulsars,PSR B0525-21,PSR B0621-04,and PSR J0943+2252 from CRAFTS L-band 19 beams data are used for evaluation of the performance of CCF-ST in comparison with other methods,such as PRESTO’s“rfifind”,ArPLS-ST and *** result shows that CCF-ST can reduce effective data loss rate and improves the detected signal-to-noise ratio of the pulsations by~26%and~18%respectively compared with PRESTO’s“rfifind”and *** CCF-ST also has the advantage of low computational cost,e.g.,reducing the time consumption by~40%and memory consumption by~90%compared with *** expect that the new RFI mitigation and analysis toolkit(CCF-ST)demonstrated in this paper can be applied to CRAFTS and other multi-beam telescope observations to improve the data quality and efficiency of pulsar and FRB searches.

Objective This study aimed to evaluate whether the onset of the plateau phase of slow hepatitis B surface antigen decline in patients with chronic hepatitis B treated with intermittent interferon therapy is related to the frequency of dendritic cell subsets and expression of the costimulatory molecules CD40,CD80,CD83,and *** This was a cross-sectional study in which patients were divided into a natural history group(namely NH group),a long-term oral nucleoside analogs treatment group(namely NA group),and a plateau-arriving group(namely P group).The percentage of plasmacytoid dendritic cell and myeloid dendritic cell subsets in peripheral blood lymphocytes and monocytes and the mean fluorescence intensity of their surface costimulatory molecules were detected using a flow *** In total,143 patients were enrolled(NH group,n=49;NA group,n=47;P group,n=47).The results demonstrated that CD141/CD1c double negative myeloid dendritic cell(DNmDC)/lymphocytes and monocytes(%)in P group(0.041[0.024,0.069])was significantly lower than that in NH group(0.270[0.135,0.407])and NA group(0.273[0.150,0.443]),and CD86 mean fluorescence intensity of DNmDCs in P group(1832.0[1484.0,2793.0])was significantly lower than that in NH group(4316.0[2958.0,5169.0])and NA group(3299.0[2534.0,4371.0]),Adjusted P all<*** Reduced DNmDCs and impaired maturation may be associated with the onset of the plateau phase during intermittent interferon therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

从1987年起算,我国的地方法治研究与实践已经进行了三十年。在这三十年间,地方法治研究经过了依法治X的雏形阶段、地方法制与先行法治化阶段、区域法治阶段,相继对地方法治的含义、与国家法治的关系、地方法治的意义等问题作出了讨论。但总体来看,地方法治研究算不上成熟与繁荣,并且由于研究视角一直是以描述的角度来观察地方法治,其重心在于"法治"而非"地方",缺少对地方内部的分析角度,所以依旧存在地方内涵界定不清、地方法治推进力量模糊、缺乏问题导向等诸多问题。而且在描述的角度下,既有理论只能将地方法治指引到"薄"的层面,无法真正实现"厚"的地方法治建设。

美国与西方经济正处于周期的正常繁荣阶段。对于衰退何时来临,西方经济学家看法不一,主流观点认为,至今尚未看到衰退来临的迹象。今年美经济从繁荣转到低速增长的可能性较大,但也不完全排除出现衰退的可能性。布什至今尚没有一个明确的经济总政策,在举世瞩目的解决财政赤字问题上至今举棋不定,决心不大,并与联邦储备局的政策观点发生分歧。这对目前美国经济的稳步发展是一个令人不安的因素。
