Mpox(formerly Monkeypox)is a zoonotic infection caused by Monkeypox virus(MPXV).Since 2022,Mpox epidemics have occurred in many nonendemic countries and regions,leading the World Health Organization to declare a public health emergency of international *** the persistent transmission and evolution of MPXV,symptoms of Mpox have become milder,with some infections being *** addition,MPXV has become more ***,rapid and accurate diagnosis and screening of MPXV is vital to prevent and control MPXV ***,we review and summarize the technical details,application scenarios,and the advantages and disadvantages of MPXV‐specific diagnostic methods.

Apple replant disease(ARD)has led to severe yield and quality reduction in the apple *** solani(***)has been identified as one of the main microbial pathogens responsible for ***(indole-3-acetic acid,IAA),an endogenous hormone in plants,is involved in almost all plant growth and development processes and plays a role in plant immunity against *** Hagen3(GH3)is one of the early/primary auxin response *** aim of this study was to evaluate the function of MdGH3-2 and MdGH3-12 in the defense response of *** by treating MdGH3-2/12 RNAi plants with *** results show that under *** infection,RNAi of MdGH3-2/12 inhibited plant biomass accumulation and exacerbated root *** inoculation with ***,MdGH3-2/12 RNAi inhibited the biosynthesis of acid-amido *** led to the inhibition of free IAA combining with amino acids,resulting in excessive free IAA *** excessive free IAA altered plant tissue structure,accelerated fungal hyphal invasion,reduced the activity of antioxidant enzymes(SOD,POD and CAT),increased the reactive oxygen species(ROS)level,and reduced total chlorophyll content and photosynthetic ability,while regulating the expression of PR-related genes including PR1,PR4,PR5 and *** also changed the contents of plant hormones and amino acids,and ultimately reduced the resistance to *** conclusion,these results demonstrate that MdGH3-2 and MdGH3-12 play an important role in apple tolerance to *** and ARD.

Dietary nutrient manipulation(*** fractions)could lower the environmental footprints of ruminants,especially reactive nitrogen(N).This study investigated the impacts of dietary soluble protein(SP)levels with decreased crude protein(CP)on intestinal N absorption,hindgut N metabolism,fecal microbiota and metabolites,and their linkage with N metabolism ***-two male Hu sheep,with an age of six months and an initial BW of 40.37±1.18 kg,were randomly assigned to four dietary *** control diet(CON),aligning with NRC standards,maintained a CP content of 16.7%on a dry matter ***,the experimental diets(LPA,LPB,and LPC)featured a 10%reduction in CP compared with CON,accompanied by SP adjustments to 21.2%,25.9%,and 29.4%of CP,*** results showed that low-protein diets led to significant reductions in the concentrations of plasma creatinine,ammonia,urea N,and fecal total short-chain fatty acids(SCFA)(P<0.05).Notably,LPB and LPC exhibited increased total SCFA and propionate concentrations compared with LPA(P<0.05).The enrichment of the Prevotella genus in fecal microbiota associated with energy metabolism and amino acid(AA)biosynthesis pathways was evident with SP levels in low-protein diets of approximately 25%to 30%.Moreover,LPB and LPC diets demonstrated a decrease in fecal NHþ4 eN and NO2 eN contents as well as urease activity,compared with CON(P<0.05).Concomitantly,reductions in fecal glutamic acid dehydrogenase gene(gdh),nitrite reductase gene(nirS),and nitric oxide reductase gene(norB)abundances were observed(P<0.05),pointing towards a potential reduction in reactive N production at the *** significance,the up-regulation of mRNA abundance of AA and peptide transporters in the small intestine(duodenum,jejunum,and ileum)and the elevated concentration of plasma AA(***,methionine,aspartate,glutamate,etc.)underscored the enhancement of N absorption and N *** summary,a 10%reduction in CP,coupled with an

Fe-Mn-Co-xTa alloys（x=0,1,2,3 wt.%） were fabricated using spark plasma sintering to explore the influence of Ta content on the microstructure,mechanical properties,and damping characteristics of Fe-17Mn-3Co damping *** micro structural analysis reveals the dominant presence of γ-austenite,ε-martensite,α'-martensite,and Co3Ta precipitates within the *** increments in Ta content exhibit proportional enhancements in hardness,tensile strength,and fracture elongation of the ***,these improvements in mechanical attributes are closely correlated with the generated second-phase *** the Ta content increases,there is a gradual augmentation in the formation of Co3Ta within the ***,the damping property initially experiences an ascent followed by a subsequent decline with rising Ta *** damping behavior finds its origins in multiple mechanisms,including grain boundary damping stemming from reduced grain size,interfacial damping induced by the generated Co3Ta,and dislocation *** is noteworthy that the emergence of the secondary phase wields a dual impact on damping *** the one hand,the proliferation of the second phase fosters increased interfaces for energy *** the other hand,these interfaces give rise to compressive stresses,constraining interface movement and thus impeding damping property enhancement.

Dear Editor,Genome-wide association studies(GWASs)have reported a genetic association between certain populations and the severity of *** severe patients,changes in the locus 3p21.31(including SLC6A20,LZTFL1,CCR9,FYCO1,CXCR6,and XCR1)are associated with COVID-19 hospitalization(Ellinghaus et al.,2020).Moreover,variations in 9p34.2 region(including genes related to the ABO blood grouping)can affect both susceptibility and severity of COVID-19;in particular,individuals with blood group A may have an increased risk of COVID-19 infection,while those with blood group O may have a protective effect(Ellinghaus et al.,2020;Shelton et al.,2021).
