Comparing the efficiencies of different detect strategies in the ping-pong protocol

The way to compare the efficiencies of different detect strategies (DSs) in the "ping-pong" protocol is studied. The trade-off between information gain and dis- turbance is calculated and compared for different DSs. The comparison result primely tallies with our intuitional analysis. It is shown that the analysis of this trade-off is a feasible way to compare the performances of different DSs in theory.

Natural gas resources in china are abundant. The undiscovered recoverable natural gas resources in china are estimated to be 19.27 ×10^12 m^3. Natural gas is mainly distributed in the middle and west china and offshore areas of china. The Tarim Basin, Sichuan Basin, Ordos Basin, East china Sea Basin, Tsaidam Basin, Yinggehai Basin, and Qiongdongnan Basin are the main gas-bearing basins. The natural gas resources are not distributed evenly and are under-explored in china. The deeper horizons in east china, foreland basins and craton paleo-uplifts in the middle and west china, and the offshore basins are the main exploration areas in the future.

Objective Human adenovirus(HAdV)infection is common and can develop to serious conditions with high mortality,yet the mechanism of HAdV infection remains *** the present study,the serum metabolite profiles of HAdV-7-infected patients with pneumonia or upper respiratory tract infection(URTI)were *** In total,3. patients were enrolled in the study following an outbreak of HAdV-7 in the army,of whom 14 had pneumonia and 21 had *** samples were collected at the acute stage and at the recovery stage and were analyzed by untargeted *** Over 90% of the differential metabolites identified between the pneumonia patients and URTI patients were lipids and lipid-like molecules,including glycerophospholipids,fatty acyls,and *** metabolic pathways that were significantly enriched were primarily the lipid metabolism pathways,including sphingolipid metabolism,glycerophospholipid metabolism,and linoleic acid *** sphingolipid metabolism was identified as a significantly differential pathway between the pneumonia patients and URTI patients and between the acute and recovery stages for the pneumonia patients,but not between the acute and recovery stages for the URTI *** and lactosylceramide,involved in sphingolipid metabolism,were significantly higher in the pneumonia patients than in the URTI patients with good discrimination abilities[area under curve(AUC)0.742 and 0.716,respectively;combination AUC 0.801].Conclusion Our results suggested that HAdV modulated lipid metabolism for both the patients with URTI and pneumonia,especially the sphingolipid metabolism involving ceramide and lactosylceramide,which might thus be a potential intervention target in the treatment of HAdV infection.

Plenty of gold deposits related to Late Mesozoic craton destruction are widely distributed in eastern North china Craton. However, significant differences in research degrees, ore-forming characteristics, and proven reserves exist among different regions in the North china Craton. The Liaodong Peninsula has similar regional geological characteristics to those of the Jiaodong Peninsula, with both experiencing craton destruction during Late Mesozoic, but the two areas have substantial differences in terms of gold mineralization and the proven gold resources. Based on regional geology, Mesozoic magmatictectonic evolution and ore geology, combined with integrated geophysical exploration and big data AI resource prediction, in this paper, we propose that the ore-forming materials of Late Mesozoic gold deposits in Liaodong were mainly originated from mantle-derived melts and/or fluids induced by craton destruction. The gold deposits were primarily controlled by NE-NNEtrending faults, mainly classified as fracture-controlled altered rock-type and sulfide-bearing quartz vein-type. Moreover, our study predicts that the Yalu River fault zone and its related secondary faults, as well as the periphery and deeper parts of known goldfields, are the important regions for future gold resource exploration. The Yalu River metallogenic belt has an enormous potential for gold resources, and the Liaodong Peninsula has a potential to add thousands of tons of gold resources.

Environmental archaeology of archaeological sites on both sides of the Dachang section in the Daning River,the Three Gorges of the yangtze River,shows that riverbed evolution has a great influence on the distribution of archaeological sites during the prehistorical and historical period,and it restricts human activity and the development of ancient *** investigation,dating data,paleocurrent analysis of 100 gravels on the riverbed and archaeological excavation reveal that the riverbed of the Dachang section developed in the Shuangyantang region during the early stage,after about 3. kaBP it shifted westward gradually and reached the present *** with the westward shift,the focus of ancient culture changed for several *** the Western Zhou Dynasty's period,the east riverbank of the Daning River was the main residential *** the Han Dynasty,along with the westward shift,the living space of ancient people was no longer confined to the east riverbank and the focus of culture moved *** the Zhangjiawan site became the main dwelling *** the late Han Dynasty, the villages were flooded and the ancients had to immigrate to a high *** of the Han and the Jin Dynasties outcropped on the flood plain of the east bank because their surface sediments were eroded by several flood events and the westward shift of the riverbed.

Functional hollow ceramic microspheres plated with Co-Fe were obtained through electroless plating technique for the application of lightweight microwave *** were treated at different temperatures by vacuum annealing *** surface-coated hollow microspheres were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD).The microwave electromagnetic loss and absorbing properties of hollow microspheres plated with Co-Fe were tested by network vector *** magnetic properties were tested by vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).The results show that the annealing treatment changed the crystal phase of Co from HCP to FCC,simultaneously increased the crystallinity and crystal size of Co and Fe in coating ***,after annealing at 800℃or 1 000℃,the microwave absorbing properties and soft magnetic properties of hollow microspheres plated with Co-Fe were further improved.

An efficient quantum secure direct communication protocol is presented over the amplitude damping *** protocol encodes logical bits in two-qubit noiseless states,and so it can function over a quantum channel subjected to collective amplitude *** feature of this protocol is that the sender encodes the secret directly on the quantum states,the receiver decodes the secret by performing determinate measurements,and there is no basis *** transmission's safety is ensured by the nonorthogonality of the noiseless states traveling forward and backward on the quantum ***,we construct the efficient quantum circuits to implement channel encoding and information encoding by means of primitive operations in quantum computation.

Quantum Authentication Based on the Lengthened String Scheme

Assuming there is a shared string between the users, we present a novel scheme, the lengthened string scheme (LSS), where the shared string is lengthened firstly by a specially designed algorithm, then some special treatments are applied on the lengthened one before it is used to authenticate. Based on the lengthened string scheme (LSS) we propose a quantum authentication protocol using entanglements. And the robustness of our protocol is discussed. In fact all the quantum key distribution protocols can do identification simultaneously based on the LSS.
