Millet agriculture,which originated in northern China,alongside rice agriculture,have nurtured the Chinese *** manur.ng practices likely promoted and maintained sustainable millet agricultural production in the loess area of northern ***,ongoing controversy exists regarding the indicators of prehistoric manur.ng intensity of foxtail millet(Setaria italica)and common millet(Panicum miliaceum).Here,we present the results of pot and field fertilization experiments on two millet *** findings suggest that manur.ng can significantly increase the δ^(15)n values of foxtail millet,and its δ^(15)n values increase with increasing manur.ng *** δ^(15)n values of foxtail millet leaves are systematically greater than those of grains by approximately 1.6‰.Manur.ng could have a long-term residual impact on increasing the δ^(15)n values of soil and millet *** with previous crop fertilization experiment results,we propose that the impact of manur.ng on the δ^(15)n values of non-nitrogen-fixing crops is roughly *** δ^(15)n value and amount of manure are key factors determining the extent of change in plant δ^(15)n *** millet grain δ^(15)n values can serve as reliable indicators of manur.ng ***,we provide an interpretive framework for assessing the correlation between manur.ng levels and the δ^(15)n values of archaeological millet *** δ^(15)n values of ancient millet grains suggest widespread and intensive manur.ng practices in prehistoric millet agriculture in northern China,spanning from the early yangshao period to the Longshan period.

The efficient utilization of visible light catalysts for organic reactions necessitates not only the effective separation of photogenerated electr.ns and holes to participate in the reaction,but also their ability to form key intermediates with reactant *** present study successfully synthesized a crusiform-like mesoporous structure of nitrogen-doped carbon-coated Cu_(2)O/Cu(Cu_(2)O/Cu/n-C)with a Cu_(2)O/dual electr.n acceptor interface using etched HKUST-1 as the precursor.A series of theoretical and experimental studies have demonstrated that the Cu_(2)O/Cu/n-C interface in the photocatalytic homo-coupling of terminal alkynes not only effectively enhances the separation of photogenerated electr.n−hole pairs,but also facilitates the formation of the key intermediate[Cu_(2)O/Cu/n-C]-phenylacetylide and promotes the rearr.ngement of its internal *** a result,the homo-coupling reaction can be effectively *** primary reason for the functional role of Cu_(2)O/Cu/n-C interface lies in the downward bending of energy band from Cu_(2)O to n-doped C layers,induced by the differ.nt work functions of Cu_(2)O,Cu and n-doped C ***,Cu_(2)O/Cu/n-C photocatalysts demonstrate exceptional photocatalytic activity in the homo-coupling reaction of terminal alkynes under blue-light irradiation and air *** present study presents a novel research methodology for the development of highly efficient visible light catalysts to facilitate organic reactions in future applications.

The construction of C-n bonds is of great importance in the fields of biology,medicine,chemistry and materials ***,the replacement of organic base from pyridine to piperidine in the Knoevenagel condensation process unexpectedly yields a series of novel organic molecules containing C-n ***,the synthesis method does not require any external tr.nsition-metals catalysis,and photo-/***,when the new compound 1b is added as a third component to a well-known binary system of PM6:Y6,the efficiency of the organic solar cell is significantly improved,resulting in an outstanding efficiency of 18.0%,which is one of the highest values reported to date for PM6:Y6-based ternary organic solar cells.

Enhancing catalytic activity through modulating the interaction between n-doped carbon and metal phosphides clusters is an effective ***,the electr.nic structure modulation of CoP_(2) supported n-modified carbon(CoP_(2)/nC)has been designed and prepared as efficient electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(Orr),oxygen evolution reaction(OEr),and hydrogen evolution reaction(HEr).notably,CoP_(2)/nC-1 catalyst exhibits impressive performance in alkaline media,with an Orr half-wave potential of 0.84 V,as well as OEr and HEr overpotentials of 290 and 129 mV(at 10 mA·cm^(−2)),*** addition,CoP_(2)/nC-1 produces a power density as high as 172.9 mW·cm^(−2),and excellent reversibility of 100 h at 20 mA·cm^(−2) in home-made Zn-air *** experimental results demonstrate that the synergistic interactions between n modified carbon substrate and CoP_(2) material significantly enhance the kinetics of Orr,OEr,and *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the str.ng electr.ns redistribution of CoP_(2) induced by high-density n atoms at the interface,thus optimizing the key intermediates and significantly lower the energy barrier of *** electr.nic adjustments of CoP_(2) greatly enhance its kinetics of Orr/OEr/HEr,leading to faster *** study provides profound insights into the specific modification of CoP_(2) by n-doped carbon,enabling the construction of efficient catalysts.

In this article,by studying the Bernstein degrees and Goldie r.nk polynomials,we es-tablish a comparison between the irreducible representations of G=GL_(n)(C)possessing the minimal Gelfand-Kirillov dimension and those induced from finite-dimensional representations of the maximal parabolic subgroup of G of type(n-1,1).We give the tr.nsition matrix between the two bases for the corresponding coher.nt families.

The state-of-the-art Fe/n/C catalyst has presented comparable initial cathode performance to the benchmark Pt/C catalyst in proton exchange membr.ne fuel cells(PEMFCs).However,the major bottleneck is its significant activity decay in real-world PEMFC *** superposed“fast decay”and“slow decay”have been well documented to describe the degradation process of Fe/n/C catalysts dur.ng PEMFC *** fast decay has been well understood in close relation to the demetallation at the initial 15-h stability ***,it is still unclear how the remanent active sites evolve after *** this end,the catalyst performance and evolution of a typical Fe/n/C active site were herein investigated through postmortem characterizations of the membr.ne electrode assemblies(MEAs)after differ.nt *** is presented that 1 bar pressure and 80℃ temperature are the optimized conditions for Fe/n/C ***,the“fast decay”in the initial 15 h is immune to the various operating parameters,while the“slow decay”highly depends on the applied temperature and *** to the X-ray absorption spectra(XAS)analysis and stability test of MEA,the gradual evolution of Fe-n coordination to Fe-O is found correlated with the“slow decay”and accounts for the catalyst decay after the demetallation process.

Dear editor,Cas13,a class Ⅱ type Ⅵ CrISPr‒Cas endonuclease with two higher eukaryotes and prokaryotes nucleotide-binding(HEPn)domains,exclusively binds to and cleaves single-str.nded rnA by a complementary guide rnA(grnA)(Makarova et al.,2020).rfxCas13d(also known as Casrx)is an ortholog of CrISPr‒Cas13 with a relatively small size and robust rnA knockdown capability in mammalian cells(Konermann et al.,2018).Owing to its simplicity and high efficiency,Casrx has been applied for rnA targeting in various types of cells and ***,most of these studies failed to control the nuclease activity of Casrx *** re-engineered split-Cas9 system enables inducible genome editing and epigenetic modulation through chemical-induced reassembly of the Cas9 protein(Zetsche et al.,2015).However,tools that allow for efficient and controllable rnA knockdown by a split-Cas13 system remain to be established.

Asymmetric Zn-n_4 atomic sites embedded hollow fibers as stable Zn anode for high-performance Zn-ion hybrid capacitor

Zn based electrochemical energy storage systems(EES)have attracted tremendous interests owing to their low cost and high intr.nsic ***,the uncontrolled growth of Zn dendrites and the side reactions of Zn metal anodes(ZMAs)severely restrict their *** address these issues,we design the asymmetric Zn-n_(4) atomic sites embedded hollow fibers(AS-IHF)as the flexible host for stable *** introducing differ.nt nitrogen resources in the synthesis,two kinds of coordination,i,***-n(pyridinic)and Zn-n(pyrrolic),are introduced in the Zn-n_(4) atomic module *** asymmetric Zn-n_(4) module with regulated micro-envir.nment facilitates the superior zincophilic features and promotes the Zn ***,the highly porous structure of the hollow fiber effectively reduces local curr.nt density,homogenize Zn ion flux,and alleviate structure *** the advantages endow the high efficiency and good stability for Zn plating/*** theoretical and experimental results demonstrate the high reversibility,low nucleation overpotential,and dendritefree behavior of the AS-IHF@Zn anode,which afford the high stability in high-rate and long-term ***,the solid-state Zn-ion hybrid capacitor(ZIHC)based on AS-IHF@Zn anode shows the high flexibility,reliability,and superior long-term cycling capability in a wide-r.nge of temperatures(-20-25℃).Therefore,the present work not only gives a new strategy for modulating local envir.nments of single atomic sites,but also propels the development of flexible power sources for diverse electr.nics.

Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15n(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)n capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPCM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)n(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 tr.nsitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scatter.ng wave in the p+^(15)n channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrapolated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)n(p,γ0)16O process with interfer.ng ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a str.ng impact of the interfer.nce of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in refer.nce to the CnO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade tr.nsitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade tr.nsitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)n(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)n(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)n(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)n(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPCM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.
