This letter presents a novel approach for the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) stereo imaging based on the Capon spectrum estimation technique. In order to deal with nonuniform sampling space and lead to super resolution in the elevation direction, Capon approach is used to focus the SAR data on a certain height. Results obtained on simulated data demonstrate the feasibility of the Capon based algorithm. Compared with the classical Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the Capon based algo-rithm shows better resolution quality.

Deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus(STN)is a therapeutic option for patients with Parkinson’s disease(PD)in whom medical therapies have been *** retrospective cohort study analyzed the motor function of 27 patients with advanced PD,from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University,China,who received deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus and evaluated its therapeutic *** 10-year follow-up data of patients was analyzed in Qingyuan People’s Hospital,Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University,*** follow-up data were divided into two categories based on patients during levodopa treatment(on-medication)and without levodopa treatment(off-medication).Compared with baseline,the motor function of onmedication PD patients improved after deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic *** 2 years later,the motor function of off-medication PD patients had ***-medication PD patients exhibited better therapeutic effects over the 5 years than offmedication PD ***-medication patients’akinesia,speech,postural stability,gait,and cognitive function worsened only after 5 *** results suggest that the motor function of patients with advanced PD benefitted from treatment with deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus over a period up to 5 *** overall therapeutic effects were more pronounced when levodopa treatment was combined with deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic *** study was approved by Institutional Review Board of Qingyuan People’s Hospital,The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University,China(approval ***-IRB-A0140)on January 11,2018.

The teleost Scatophagus argus is a species whose females grows faster than *** hormone(gh)mRNA abundance in females pituitary is higher than that in males;however the mechanism underlining such differential is still *** hormone(GH)is tightly associated with GH-releasing hormone(Ghrh)in *** this study,Ghrh gene(ghrh)and its receptor gene,ghrhr,were isolated from *** expression analysis showed that ghrh and ghrhr were mainly expressed in hypothalamus while ghrhr was expressed in pituitary and gh was predominantly expressed in *** cultured *** individuals were used to compare ghrh,ghrhr and gh mRNA abundances,120 g and 181 g average weight for male(n=11)and female(n=9),***-time PCR indicated that the ghrh and ghrhr mRNA abundances in male hypothalamus were significantly higher than those in female hypothalamus while that of gh mRNA abundance was significantly higher in female pituitary than in male *** ghrh and ghrhr mRNA abundances were significantly up-regulated in female hypothalamus 3 h after injection of 0.1 mg kg^-1 body weight Ghrh while pituitary ghrhr and gh mRNA abundances were not *** female hypothalamus,ghrh and ghrhr m RNA abundances were not affected at 6 h post-injection of 4 mg kg^-1 body weight 17α-methyltes-tosterone(17α-MT)or 17β-Estradiol(E2).In female pituitary,ghrhr m RNA abundance was down-regulated by 17α-MT while that of gh m RNA abundance was up-regulated by *** findings indicated that E2,rather than Ghrh,plays an important role in up-regulating the expression of gh in female ***,which should aid to understand the sexual dimorphism of teleost growth.

We present radial velocity(RV)curve templates of RR Lyrae first-overtone(RRc)stars constructed with the Mg I b triplet and Hαlines using time-domain Medium-Resolution Survey spectra of seven RRc stars from Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST)Data Release ***,we derive the relation between the stellar RV curve amplitudes and g-band light curve amplitudes from Zwicky Transient Facility(ZTF)public *** those RRc stars without ZTF g-band light curves,we provide the conversions from the light curve amplitudes in ZTF r-and i-bands,Gaia G-band,and V-band from the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae to those in ZTF *** validate our RV curve templates using the RRc star SV Scl and find the uncertainties of systemic RV are less than 2.11 km s~(-1)and 6.08 km s~(-1)based on the Mg I b triplet and Hαlines,*** calculate the systemic RVs of 30 RRc stars using the RV curve templates constructed with the Mg I b triplet and Hαlines and find the systemic RVs are comparable with each *** RV curve template will be particularly useful for obtaining the systemic RV of RRc using the LAMOST spectroscopy.

Beyond the traditional focus on improvements in mechanical, electronic and absorption properties, controllability, actuation, and dynamic response of monoliths have received increasing attentions for practical applications. However, most of them could only realize simple response to constant conditions(e.g. a stationary magnetic field) while carrying out humdrum motions. By controlling distribution of metal organic framework obtained carbon-enriched Fe304 nanoparticles in self-assembly reduced graphene oxide(RGO) monoliths, we could achieve two distinctive RGO-Fe_3 O_4 stirrers that could dynamically respond to the rapidly changing magnetic field while executing designed movements precisely: rotating with lying down posture or standing straight posture. These stirrers can not only be applied in environmental remediation(*** skimmer), but also be recycled as electrode active materials for supercapacitors after fulfilling their destiny, realizing transformation of trash to treasure, which will inspire other dynamically responsive monoliths for various applications.

Afteradjustment for potential confounding variables, the overall incidence of T2DM was higher in thePCOS group vs the control group (HR = 5.13, 95%CI: 3.51-7.48, P < 0.0001). The risk of developingT2DM subsequent to PCOS decreased with increasing diagnosis age: the adjusted HR was 10.4 inthe 18–24-year age group, 5.28 in the 25-29-year age group, and 4.06 in the 29-34-year age ***, no such significant association was noted in women older than 35 *** findings highlight the importance of prompting a more aggressive treatment to preventdiabetes in women diagnosed with PCOS at a young age, and, in contrast, the lessened importanceof this type of intervention in women diagnosed with PCOS at a late reproductive age.

Study on the H^(-)stripping injection for the Rapid Cycling Synchrotron of the China Spallation Neutron Source

Purpose The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)accelerator consists of an 80 MeV H^(-)Linac and a 1.6 GeV rapid cycling synchrotron(RCS).For the injection system,the H^(-)stripping scheme is adopted to inject the Linac beam to the RCS with high precision and high *** stripping process through foil plays an important role in the injection,and the related beam losses control need to be studied in *** In the beam commissioning,the parameters of the stripping foil have been studied,including:structure,material,thickness,stripping efficiency,temperature,and *** measurement results are compared with the design values and some parameters of the stripping foil are *** a combination of the codes Py-ORBIT and FLUKA,the beam losses caused by the foil scattering and residual H^(-)beam are simulated in detail and then compared with the actual measurement *** A double-layer HBC foil is instead of a single-layer DLC *** an actual thickness of 103μg/cm^(2),the actual stripping efficiency is about 99.8%.The peak temperature of the main stripping foil is about 1400 K in the *** foil lifetime under the design power is about 1.5 *** beam losses caused by the foil scattering and residual H^(-)beam are the main sources of the residual doses in the injection *** The parameters of the stripping foil have been optimized and some improvements are *** simulation results of the beam losses caused by the foil scattering and residual H^(-)beam are nearly consistent with the measurement results which can provide some references for the CSNS-Ⅱ.

Background Epidemiological studies have suggested a potential connection between psoriasis and an increased risk of aortic valve stenosis(AS),though the impact of psoriasis on AS progression remains *** study aims to investigate the causal relationship between psoriasis and AS using Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis,as well as to uncover potential mechanisms underlying this *** A two-sample MR analysis was conducted using publicly available summary statistics from genome-wide association studies(GWAS)of psoriasis and ***-eQTL and significant genes were identified for each causal single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),followed by pathway enrichment and protein-protein interaction(PPI)analysis for functional *** genes were pinpointed by *** transcriptional profile of AS population was acquired,and interconnected genes networks were clustered using Molecular Complex Detection(MCODE).Results Our results demonstrate a significant causal relationship between psoriasis and AS,with a genetic predisposition to psoriasis associated with a higher AS risk(odds ratio:1.46).Pathway and PPI analyses unveiled 15 hub genes,including HLA-C,HLA-B,ISG15,IFIT3,and MX2,along with immune-related pathways linking psoriasis and ***,the transcriptional profiling of the AS database highlighted the significant involvement of adaptive immune cells in AS ***,among the 15 hub genes,ISG15,MX2,OAS3,OASL,IFI6,and EPSTI1 exhibited higher expression in the AS *** Our study provides compelling evidence supporting a causal relationship between psoriasis and ***,the identified hub genes and immune-related pathways may play an important role in the development of both diseases.

Anatase TiO_(2) is a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to its low cost and ***,the intrinsically kinetic limits seriously hindered its lithium-ion storage *** we present that anatase TiO_(2) with rich oxygen vacancies can enhance its lithium-ion storage *** synthesize anatase TiO_(2) with well-retained hierarchical structure by annealing the H_(2)Ti_(5)O_(11)·3H_(2)O yolk-shell spheres precursor in nitrogen *** and XPS data evidence that the oxygen-deficient environment could generate abundant oxygen vacancies in the as-derived anatase TiO_(2),which leads to improved electron conductivity and reduced charge-transfer *** rich oxygen vacancies and high structural integrity of the hierarchical yolk-shell spheres enable the as-derived anatase TiO_(2) yolk-shell spheres with a high specific capacity of 280 mAh g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) and 71%of capacity retention after 5000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).
