The ionized dopants, working as quantum dots in silicon nanowires, exhibit potential advantages for the development of atomic-scale transistors. We investigate single electron tunneling through a phosphorus dopant induced quantum dots array in heavily n-doped junctionless nanowire transistors. Several subpeaks splittings in current oscillations are clearly observed due to the coupling of the quantum dots at the temperature of 6 K. The transport behaviors change from resonance tunneling to hoping conduction with increased temperature. The charging energy of the phosphorus donors is approximately 12.8 meV. This work helps clear the basic mechanism of electron transport through donor-induced quantum dots and electron transport properties in the heavily doped nanowire through dopant engineering.

AIM:To understand the changes and development of World Journal of Gastroenterology(WJG)in recent ***:The Journal Citation Report(JCR)and SCI-E database of the ISI Web of Knowledge were used to search the articles and data of related indices in WJG during *** methods were used for statistical analysis of the author’s degree of collaboration,collaboration rate,the first author’s publications,high-productivity authors,the authors’origins in each year;the distribution of the countries and journals of the authors citing WJG papers was also *** addition,the indices related to this journal in each year were compared with the data from 6 SCI journals in the field of gastroenterology in the 2012 ***:A total of 4409 papers in WJG were examined in this *** the period 2008-2012,the selfcitation rate was 8.59%,6.02%,5.50%,4.47%and5.21%.Of a total of 3898 first authors,3526 published1 paper,291 published 2 papers,59 published 3 papers,and 22 published 4 or more *** origin of WJG authors covered the six continents,and the majority came from Asia,Europe and North *** number of countries of origin of WJG authors was65,66,61,65 an 60 for the period *** from 66 countries cited a total of 3194 of the 4409 papers,and these citations were found in 1140 ***:The results suggest that WJG has stayed on the track of normal international publication and all the indices of this journal are stable and reasonable.

Objective: This paper aims at critically reflecting on the author's personal experience in the context of communication within a nursing team and exploring relevant existing constraints with a view to improving practice and achieving more effective outcomes in team ***: Critical emancipatory reflection is used to evaluate and interpret the author's practice. Smyth's model serves as a framework to guide critical reflection step by step in this paper. Relevant theoretical perspectives help to make sense of the author's performance in terms of team ***: It is identified via emancipatory reflection that the author endorses the ideas of equality, respect, trust, and collaboration, which were formed and established during the process of professional socialization. However, different constraints, such as sociocultural,historical, political, and personal factors, impede the author from performing more effectively in terms of team *** provides the author opportunities to take actions to rectify constraints and avoid the reemergence of previous situations in the ***: Reflection is an effective way to gather knowledge and develop comprehensive understanding of practice. Alternative actions for effective team communication are recommended, including formulating ground rules for discussion, guiding nurses in the correct way, transforming conflicts within a team, being an active and reflective listener, and motivating nurses to actively create.

The bending rigidity of submerged vegetation is closely related with vegetative drag force. This work aims at determining the effects of flow conditions and characteristics of vegetation on the bending rigidity of submerged vegetation. Based on the dimensional analysis method, the factors influencing the bending rigidity of individual submerged vegetation were analyzed. The relationship between the relative bending rigidity and its influencing factors was investigated by experimental observation, and a relative bending rigidity expression for submerged vegetation was obtained by means of multiple linear regression method. The results show that the submerged vegetation has three states under different inflow conditions, and the each critical relative bending rigidity of individual submerged vegetation was determined for the different states of submerged vegetation.

Heterogenous photocatalyzed reduction of aqueous Na2CO3 has been carried out by using nano SrFeO3 semiconductor powders. Formic acid, formaldehyde and methyl alcohol were identified as photoproducts, and were measured spectrophotometrically. The effect of the variation of different parameters such as sodium carbonate concentration, amount of photocatalyst and different light sources on the yield of photoproducts was also investigated. It shows that nano SrFeO3 has photocatalytic activity. Irradiation leads to the production of electrons in the conduction band of the SrFeO3 semiconductor. It is likely that the photoproduced electrons reduce CO32- initially to HCOO-, and then to HCHO and CH3OH.

Processes with multiphase are commonly found in process industries. Process dynamics and correlations among variables tend to change with the transitions across such phases. In this paper, we propose a new data-driven predictive control strategy with the consideration of the important multiphase feature. The method aims to feature the multiphase data and use the data to design the controller. First, the data is divided and weighted based on the multiple phases and transitions. Through the minimal image representation, the data-driven prediction of future trajectory can be obtained and thus the computation of dynamic optimization. In the proposed controller, data Hankel matrices is direct incorporated in the predictive control laws, without a model or an intermediate step to meet the given performance specifications. Finally, the proposed predictive controller is demonstrated on a multiphase process.

Angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ) is involved in endothelium injury during the development of hypertension. Tribulus terrestris(TT) is used to treat hypertension, arteriosclerosis, and post-stroke syndrome in China. The present study aimed to determine the effects of aqueous TT extracts on endothelial injury in spontaneously hypertensive rats(SHRs) and its protective effects against Ang Ⅱ induced injury in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs). SHRs were administered intragastrically with TT(17.2 or 8.6 g·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)) for 6 weeks, using valsartan(13.5 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)) as positive control. Blood pressure, heart rate, endothelial morphology of the thoracic aorta, serum levels of Ang Ⅱ, endothelin^(-1)(ET^(-1)), superoxide dismutase(SOD) and malonaldehyde(MDA) were measured. The endothelial injury of HUVECs was induced by 2 × 10–6 mol·L^(-1) Ang Ⅱ. Cell Apoptosisapoptosis, intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS) was assessed. Endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eN OS), ET^(-1), SOD, and MDA in the cell culture supernatant and cell migration were assayed. The expression of hypertension-linked genes and proteins were analyzed. TT decreased systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, mean arterial pressure and heart rate, improved endothelial integrity of thoracic aorta, and decreased serum leptin, Ang Ⅱ, ET^(-1), NPY, and Hcy, while increased NO in SHRs. TT suppressed Ang Ⅱ-induced HUVEC proliferation and apoptosis and prolonged the survival, and increased cell migration. TT regulated the ROS, and decreased mR NA expression of Akt1, JAK2, PI3Kα, Erk2, FAK, and NF-κB p65 and protein expression of Erk2, FAK, and NF-κB p65. In conclusion, TT demonstrated anti-hypertensive and endothelial protective effects by regulating Erk2, FAK and NF-κB p65.
