Response of global agricultural productivity anomalies to drought stress in irrigated and rainfed agriculture

The response of agricultural productivity anomalies to drought stress plays a crucial role in the carbon cycle within terrestrial ecosystems and in ensuring food security. However, detailed analysis of how global agricultural productivity anomalies response to drought stress, particularly within irrigated and rainfed agricultural systems, remains insufficient. In this study, the impact of drought stress on agricultural productivity anomalies during the growing season（zcNDVIS）, across both irrigated and rainfed agriculture, were analyzed using a suite of hydro-climatic variables. Specifically, the investigation utilized the multi-scalar Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index（SPEI）, the Multivariate ENSO Index（MEI）, and the Madden-Julian Oscillation（MJO）. Meanwhile, the relationships between hydroclimatic variables and zcNDVISwere analyzed at one, two, three and four months before the ending of growing season（EOS）. Results showed that（1） the percentages of significant（p<0.1） drying trends varied across the globe from 8.30% to 13.42%, 6.50% to 14.63%, 6.52% to 14.23%, and 6.47%to 14.95% at one-, two-, three-, and four-month lead times before EOS, respectively, during 2001–2020, which represented by the multiscalar SPEI. This observation highlights that most regions across the globe tend to be arid, which could significantly impact agricultural productivity;（2） the global mean correlation coefficients（rmax） for SPEI-1, SPEI-3, SPEI-6, SPEI-12（indicating SPEI at 1-, 3-, 6-, and 12-month lags）, MEI, and MJO with zcNDVISranged between 0.24–0.25, 0.27–0.28, 0.25–0.26, 0.21–0.22, –0.02–0.01 and 0.06–0.11, respectively, across both irrigated and rainfed agriculture system from 2001 to *** productivity anomalies demonstrated a significant correlation with drought stress. Implementing a new energy-saving electrochemical synthesis system with high commercial value is a strategy of the sustainable development for upgrading the bulk chemicals preparation technology in the ***,we report a multiple redox-mediated linear paired electrolysis system,combining the hydrogen peroxide mediated cathode process with the I2 mediated anode process,and realize the conversion of furfural to furoic acid in both side of the dividedﬂow cell *** reasonably controlling the cathode potential,the undesired water splitting reaction and furfural reduction side reactions are *** the galvanostatic electrolysis,the two-mediated electrode processes have good compatibility,which reduce the energy consumption by about 22%while improving the electronic efﬁciency by about 125%.This system provides a green electrochemical synthesis route with commercial prospects.

Objective: This study aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the global burden of esophageal cancer(EC) and determine the temporal trends and factors influencing changes in the global ***: The latest incidence and mortality data for EC worldwide were obtained from GLOBALCAN 2022. The mortality and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs) rates for EC from 1990±2019 were sourced from the 2019 Global Burden of Diseases. Trends in EC mortality and DALYs attributable to 11 risk factors or clusters of risk were analyzed using the joinpoint regression model. The trends in age-related EC burden were assessed using a decomposition ***: An estimated 511,054 new cases of EC were diagnosed in 2022 with 445,391 deaths worldwide. Approximately 75% of cases and deaths occurred in Asia. Nearly 50% of global EC deaths and DALYs were attributed to tobacco use in men in 2019, while 20% were attributed to high body mass index(BMI) in women. From 1990±2019, EC deaths and DALYs attributable to almost all risk factors had declining trends, while EC deaths and DALYs attributed to high BMI in men had upward trends. The age-related EC burden exhibited an upward trend driven by population growth and aging, which contributed to 307.4 thousand deaths and 7.2 million DALYs due to ***: The EC burden remains substantial worldwide. Effective tobacco and obesity control measures are critical for addressing the risk-attributable burden of EC. Population growth and aging pose challenges for EC prevention and control efforts.

Attributable liver cancer deaths and disability-adjusted life years in China and worldwide: profiles and changing trends

Objective: Liver cancer is a major health concern globally and in China. This analysis investigated deaths and disability-adjusted life years(DALYs) with respect to etiologies and risk factors for liver cancer in China and ***: Global and China-specific data were collected on liver cancer deaths, DALYs, and age-standardized rates(ASRs) from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019 database. Liver cancer etiologies were classified into five groups and risk factors were categorized into three levels. Each proportion of liver cancer burden was calculated in different geographic regions. The joinpoint regression model were used to assess the trends from 1990±***: Liver cancer accounted for 484,577 deaths worldwide in 2019 with an ASR of 5.9 per 100,000 population. China had an elevated liver cancer death ASR in 2019 and males had an ASR 1.7 times the global rate. The global ASR for DALYs peaked at 75±79 years of age but peaked earlier in China. Hepatitis B virus was the prominent etiology globally(39.5%) and in China(62.5%), followed by hepatitis C virus and alcohol consumption. In high sociodemographic index countries, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis has gained an increasing contribution as an etiologic factor. The liver cancer burden due to various etiologies has decreased globally in both genders. However, metabolic risk factors, particularly obesity, have had a growing contribution to the liver cancer burden, especially among ***: Despite an overall decreasing trend in the liver cancer burden in China and worldwide, there has been a rising contribution from metabolic risk factors, highlighting the importance of implementing targeted prevention and control strategies that address regional and gender disparities.

A Small Target Detection Method for Sea Surface Based on Guided Filtering and Local Mean Gray Difference

The traditional small target detection algorithm often results in a high false alarm rate on the sea surface background. To address this issue, a small target detection method based on guided filtering and local average gray level difference was proposed in this paper for the sea surface. Firstly, the method enhanced the details of the small targets by employing guided filtering to suppress the background clutter and noise in the sea surface image. Subsequently, the local average gray level difference of each point in the image was calculated to further distinguish the targets from other interference points. Finally, the threshold segmentation method was utilized to obtain the actual small targets on the sea surface. After conducting experiments on various sea surface scenes, the LSCRG, BSF, and ROC curve were computed for the proposed method and five other algorithms. Comparative analysis with BS, Top-hat, TDLMS, Max-median, and LCM demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method for infrared small target detection on the sea surface.

Marine container terminal(MCT)plays a key role in the marine intelligent transportation system and international logistics ***,the efficiency of resource scheduling significantly influences the operation performance of *** solve the practical resource scheduling problem(RSP)in MCT efficiently,this paper has contributions to both the problem model and the algorithm ***,in the problem model,different from most of the existing studies that only consider scheduling part of the resources in MCT,we propose a unified mathematical model for formulating an integrated *** new integrated RSP model allocates and schedules multiple MCT resources simultaneously by taking the total cost minimization as the ***,in the algorithm design,a pre-selection-based ant colony system(PACS)approach is proposed based on graphic structure solution representation and a pre-selection *** the one hand,as the RSP can be formulated as the shortest path problem on the directed complete graph,the graphic structure is proposed to represent the solution encoding to consider multiple constraints and multiple factors of the RSP,which effectively avoids the generation of infeasible *** the other hand,the pre-selection strategy aims to reduce the computational burden of PACS and to fast obtain a higher-quality *** evaluate the performance of the proposed novel PACS in solving the new integrated RSP model,a set of test cases with different sizes is *** results and comparisons show the effectiveness and efficiency of the PACS algorithm,which can significantly outperform other state-of-the-art algorithms.

目的:探讨特异性蛋白1(Sp1)对肿瘤细胞增殖和转移的影响及其机制。方法:选取2019年6月至2022年6月郑州大学第一附属医院收治的74例卵巢癌组织和癌旁组织作为研究对象,采用蛋白质印迹法(Western blot)分析癌旁组织和肿瘤组织的表达水平。采用SP1短发卡RNA(shRNA)慢病毒感染SK-OV-3细胞,建立SP KD1组和对照组细胞,采用细胞计数试剂盒(CCK-8)和EdU染色分析两组细胞的增殖能力;采用划痕实验和Transwell实验分析两组细胞的迁移和侵袭能力,采用蛋白质免疫印迹分析两组细胞上皮间质转化水平。组间资料比较采用t检验。结果:癌旁组织中SP1蛋白表达水平(1.03±0.22)明显低于卵巢癌组织(1.93±0.39),差异有统计学意义(t=17.570,P<0.05)。对照组细胞吸光度(A)值(1.98±0.09)明显高于SP KD1组(1.27±0.14),差异有统计学意义(t=10.310,P<0.05)。对照组细胞EdU阳性率[(84.17±4.07)%]明显高于SP KD1组[(65.67±5.57)%],差异有统计学意义(t=6.566,P<0.05)。对照组细胞划痕愈合率[(86.46±3.94)%]明显高于SP KD1组[(74.25±5.07)%],差异有统计学意义(t=4.659,P<0.05)。对照组细胞侵袭个数[139.67±12.09)个]明显高于SP KD1组[(97.67±9.52)个],差异有统计学意义(t=6.684,P<0.05)。对照组细胞间质细胞标志物N-钙黏蛋白(N-cadherin)和波形蛋白(Vimentin)(0.88±0.08、1.12±0.09)明显高于SP KD1组(0.68±0.08、0.78±0.07),差异有统计学意义(t=4.512、7.335,P<0.05)。对照组细胞上皮细胞标志物E-钙黏蛋白(E-cadherin)(0.81±0.06)明显低于SP KD1组(1.25±0.14),差异有统计学意义(t=7.156,P<0.05)。对照组细胞微小RNA(miR)-182表达水平(1.10±0.15)明显高于SP KD1组(0.79±0.08),差异有统计学意义(t=4.503,P<0.05)。结论:转录因子SP1在卵巢癌组织中呈高表达,通过提高miR-182表达水平,进而促进卵巢癌细胞的增殖和迁移能力。
