Estimation of Hammerstein nonlinear systems with noises using filtering and recursive approaches for industrial control

This paper discusses a strategy for estimating Hammerstein nonlinear systems in the presence of measurement noises for industrial control by applying filtering and recursive *** proposed Hammerstein nonlinear systems are made up of a neural fuzzy network(NFN)and a linear state`-space *** estimation of parameters for Hammerstein systems can be achieved by employing hybrid signals,which consist of step signals and random ***,based on the characteristic that step signals do not excite static nonlinear systems,that is,the intermediate variable of the Hammerstein system is a step signal with different amplitudes from the input,the unknown intermediate variables can be replaced by inputs,solving the problem of unmeasurable intermediate variable *** the presence of step signals,the parameters of the state-space model are estimated using the recursive extended least squares(RELS)***,to effectively deal with the interference of measurement noises,a data filtering technique is introduced,and the filtering-based RELS is formulated for estimating the NFN by employing random ***,according to the structure of the Hammerstein system,the control system is designed by eliminating the nonlinear block so that the generated system is approximately equivalent to a linear system,and it can then be easily controlled by applying a linear *** effectiveness and feasibility of the developed identification and control strategy are demonstrated using two industrial simulation cases.

Cancer immunotherapy has achieved tremendous successful clinical results and obtained historic victories in tumor ***,great limitations associated with feeble immune responses and serious adverse effects still cannot be neglected due to the complicated multifactorial etiology and pathologic microenvironment in *** rapid development of nanomedical science and material science has facilitated the advanced progress of engineering biomaterials to tackle critical *** supramolecular biomaterials with flexible and modular structures have exhibited unparalleled advantages of high cargo-loading efficiency,excellent biocompatibility,and diversiform immunomodulatory activity,thereby providing a powerful weapon for cancer *** past decades,supramolecular biomaterials were extensively explored as versatile delivery platforms for immunotherapeutic agents or designed to interact with the key moleculars in immune system in a precise and controllable *** this review,we focused on the crucial role of supramolecular biomaterials in the modulation of pivotal steps during tumor immunotherapy,including antigen delivery and presentation,T lymphocyte activation,tumor-associated macrophage elimination and repolarization,and myeloid-derived suppressor cell *** on extensive research,we explored the current limitations and development prospects of supramolecular biomaterials in cancer immunotherapy.

Electrolytic water splitting by renewable energy is a technology with great potential for producing hydrogen(H_(2))without carbon emission,but this technical route is hindered by its huge energy(electricity)cost,which is mainly wasted by the anode oxygen evolution reaction(OER)while the value of the anode product(oxygen)is very *** the high-energy-cost OER with a selective organic compound electrooxidation carried out at a relatively lower potential can reduce the electricity cost while producing value-added ***,H_(2) generation coupled with synthesis of value-added organic compounds faces the challenge of low selectivity and slow generation rate of the anodic ***-dimensional(1D)nanocatalysts with a unique morphology,well-defined active sites,and good electron conductivity have shown excellent performance in many electrocatalytic *** rational design and regulation of 1D nanocatalysts through surface engineering can optimize the adsorption energy of intermediate molecules and improve the selectivity of organic electrooxidation ***,we summarized the recent research progress of 1D nanocatalysts applied in different organic electrooxidation reactions and introduced several different fabrication strategies for surface engineering of 1D ***,we focused on the relationship between surface engineering and the selectivity of organic electrooxidation reaction ***,future challenges and development prospects of 1D nanocatalysts in the coupled system consisting of organic electrooxidation and hydrogen evolution reactions are briefly outlined.

In this study,a Mn-modified Pt-based catalyst loaded on nitrogen-doped Ketjen black(Mn-Pt/NKB)is prepared using a simple ethylene glycol reduction *** size of Pt nanoparticles(NPs)is effectively controlled by doping with Mn and *** the smallest average particle size of 1.7 nm,Mn-Pt/NKB demonstrates half-wave potentials of 0.890 and 0.688 V in the alkaline and neutral electrolytes,respectively,which are superior to those of commercial platinum on activated carbon(Pt/C).When applied as an air cathode in aluminum-air battery,it exhibits ultra-high power densities of 190(alkaline)and 26.2 mW·cm^(−2)(neutral).Moreover,the voltage remains stable after 5 h of *** practical application performance of the Mn-Pt/NKB catalyst in an aluminum-air battery is better than that of commercial Pt/***,the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)mechanism on surfaces with different particle sizes is analyzed using density functional *** cracking is the major pathway on the surface of the small particles with lower energy consumption of 0.5 eV,while water molecule cleavage is the major pathway on the surface of the large particles with higher energy consumption of 0.97 *** lower energy consumption of the oxygen cracking pathway further confirms the ORR mechanism for higher activity on small-sized *** study provides a direction for the rational design of Pt-based catalysts for ORR and sheds light on the commercial development of aluminum-air batteries.

Tunable bandgaps make halide perovskites promising candidates for developing tandem solar cells (TSCs),a strategy to break the radiative limit of 33.7%for single-junction solar *** perovskites with marketdominant crystalline silicon (c-Si) is particularly attractive; simple estimates based on the bandgap matching indicate that the efficiency limit in such tandem device is as high as 46%.However,state-of-the-art perovskite/c-Si TSCs only achieve an efficiency of～32.5%,implying significant challenges and also rich *** this review,we start with the operating mechanism and efficiency limit of TSCs,followed by systematical discussions on wide-bandgap perovskite front cells,interface selective contacts,and electrical interconnection layer,as well as photon management for highly efficient perovskite/c-Si *** highlight the challenges in this field and provide our understanding of future research directions toward highly efficient and stable large-scale wide-bandgap perovskite front cells for the commercialization of perovskite/c-Si TSCs.

Knowing how to make a multi-locomotion robot achieve locomotion transition under different terrains is a challenging problem,especially for tensegrity robots with multi-locomotion *** this study,a motion planning method for the transition of a multi-locomotion tensegrity robot(hereafter TJUBot)under different terrains is *** robot can achieve four locomotion modes:earthworm-like,inchworm-like,tumbling,and sliding locomotion with only two *** models of the four locomotion modes under five typical terrains,including flat ground,confined space,obstacle,gap,and descending slope,are established using the energy ***,the kinematic characteristics(driving law and initial position)of the robot under these terrains are *** this basis,motion planning for the locomotion transition of TJUBot is conducted,which includes a perception strategy based on three laser sensors and a transition strategy under different *** driving laws of the two motors that can ensure the effective locomotion transition of TJUBot under different terrains are naturally ***,experiments are *** demonstrate that the robot can achieve effective locomotion transition when the motion planning method is used.

Segmental tunnel lining strengthened with steel plates is widely used worldwide to provide a permanent strengthening *** existing studies assume an ideal steel-concrete interface,ignoring discontinuous deformation characteristics,making it difficult to accurately analyze the strengthened structure’s failure *** this study,interfacial fracture mechanics of composite material was applied to the segmental tunnel lining strengthened with steel plates,and a numerical three-dimensional solid nonlinear model of the lining structure was established,combining the extended finite element method with a cohesive-zone model to account for the discontinuous deformation characteristics of the *** results accurately describe the crack propagation process,and are verified by full-scale ***,dynamic simulations based on the calibrated model were conducted to analyze the sliding failure and cracking of the steel-concrete ***,detailed location of the interface bonding failure are further verified by model *** results show that,the cracking failure and bond failure of the interface are the decisive factors determining the instability and failure of the strengthened *** proposed numerical analysis is a major step forward in revealing the interface failure mechanism of strengthened composite material structures.

Synergistic strengthening mechanism of Ca^(2+)-sodium silicate to selective separation of feldspar and quartz

Inhibitors are important for flotation separation of quartz and *** this study,a novel combined inhibitor was used to separate quartz and feldspar in near-neutral *** inhibition of the combined inhibitor was assessed by micro-flotation *** a series of detection methods were used to detect differences in the surface properties of feldspars and quartz after flotation reagents and put forward the synergistic strengthening *** outcomes were pointed out that pre-mixing combined inhibitors were more effective than the addition of Ca^(2+)and SS in sequence under the optimal proportion of 1:5.A concentrate from artificial mixed minerals that was characterized by a high quartz grade and a high recovery was acquired,and was found to be 90.70wt% and 83.70%,*** was demonstrated that the combined inhibitor selectively prevented the action of the collector and feldspar from Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)and adsorption capacity *** results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)indicated that Ca^(2+)directly interacts with the surface of quartz to increase the adsorption of *** contrast,the chemistry property of Al on the feldspar surface was altered by combined inhibitor due to Na^(+)and Ca^(2+)taking the place of K^(+),resulting in the composite inhibitor forms a hydrophilic structure,which prevents the adsorption of the collector on the surface of feldspar by interacting with the Al active *** combination of Ca^(2+)and SS synergically strengthens the difference of collecting property between quartz and feldspar by collector,thus achieving the effect of efficient separation.A new strategy for flotation to separate quartz from feldspar in near-neutral pulp was provided.
