Coupled dynamic response analysis of multi-column floating offshore wind turbine with low center of gravity

To realize the application of the floating offshore wind turbine(FOWT)from deep to relatively shallow waters,a new concept of multi-column floating wind turbine platform with low center of gravity(CG)is designed and *** multi-column low CG platform is designed to support a 6MW wind turbine class and operated at a water depth of 50m in the South China *** frequency domain software WADAM and time domain software NREL-FAST are used to simulate coupled dynamic responses of the floating wind turbine system with second-order wave loads *** dynamic behaviors of multi-column low CG FOWT system under normal operation and parked conditions are *** influence of second-order wave force on the motion responses of the multi-column platform,fore-aft force and moment of the tower base and mooring force are researched *** results demonstrate that the coupled dynamic responses at rated operating condition and extreme condition meet the normal operating requirements and extreme survival requirements of FOWT system in the shallow water(50m)of South China *** addition,it is found that,the wave frequency response gradually replaces the second-order low frequency response as the main influencing factor of the coupled dynamic response of the FOWT system with the increasing severity of the sea ***,in general,the magnitude of second-order low frequency response increases with the increasing severity of the design load ***,in the subsequent design of the shallow water FOWT system,the second-order effects should be paid enough attention.

herein,we demonstrate a very useful strategy to construct cage-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)with third-order nonlinear-optical *** specifically,by employing the Zr_(4)L_(6)(L=embonate)cages to assembly with N-contained ligands and Mn^(2+)/Zn^(2+) ions,four Zr_(4)L_(6)-cage-based MOFs have been synthesized and structurally *** them,a 3D framework with strong aromatic π−πstacking force exhibits a good optical limiting effect.

Homochiral design of titanium-organic cage for circularly polarized luminescence-based molecular detection

Post-assembly modification strategy is used as an effective approach to improve the functional applications of metal-organic cages. The active vertex of the racemic tetrahedral Ti4L6(L = embonate) cages traps four chiral diamine chelated dinuclear silver ions, obtaining homochiral cages which exhibit helical perovskite stacks. Such a surface modification engineering enables the structural precise cages presenting homochirality and circularly polarized luminescence(CPL) response, further achieving enantioselective recognition toward chiral Camphorquinone molecules and displaying enhanced temperature-dependent effects of CPL output.

Channel assignment and power allocation for throughput improvement with PPO in B5G heterogeneous edge networks

In Beyond the Fifth Generation(B5G)heterogeneous edge networks,numerous users are multiplexed on a channel or served on the same frequency resource block,in which case the transmitter applies coding and the receiver uses interference ***,uncoordinated radio resource allocation can reduce system throughput and lead to user inequity,for this reason,in this paper,channel allocation and power allocation problems are formulated to maximize the system sum rate and minimum user achievable *** the construction model is non-convex and the response variables are high-dimensional,a distributed Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)framework called distributed Proximal Policy Optimization(PPO)is proposed to allocate or assign ***,several simulated agents are trained in a heterogeneous environment to find robust behaviors that perform well in channel assignment and power ***,agents in the collection stage slow down,which hinders the learning of other ***,a preemption strategy is further proposed in this paper to optimize the distributed PPO,form DP-PPO and successfully mitigate the straggler *** experimental results show that our mechanism named DP-PPO improves the performance over other DRL methods.

As a highly invasive malignancy,esophageal cancer(EC)is a global health issue,and was the eighth most prevalent cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancerrelated death worldwide in *** to its highly immunogenic nature,emerging immunotherapy approaches,such as immune checkpoint blockade,have demonstrated promising efficacy in treating EC;however,certain limitations and challenges still *** addition,tumors may exhibit primary or acquired resistance to immunotherapy in the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME);thus,understanding the TIME is urgent and crucial,especially given the importance of an immunosuppressive microenvironment in tumor *** aim of this review was to better elucidate the mechanisms of the suppressive TIME,including cell infiltration,immune cell subsets,cytokines and signaling pathways in the tumor microenvironment of EC patients,as well as the downregulated expression of major histocompatibility complex molecules in tumor cells,to obtain a better understanding of the differences in EC patient responses to immunotherapeutic strategies and accurately predict the efficacy of ***,personalized treatments could be developed to maximize the advantages of immunotherapy.

Influence of pH, heat and Enzymatic Treatments on the Activity of Antibacterial Substance in MRS and Milk Media Produced by Lactobacillus fermentum F6

This study aimed to investigate the influence of pH,heat and enzymatic treatments on the activity of antibacterial substance in MRS,skim soy milk and bovine milk media fermented by a potential probiotic Lactobacillus fermentum *** antibacterial activity of the culture supernatant of *** F6 was tested against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Listeria monocytogenes,Salmonella typhimurium,and Shigella *** antibacterial activities were detected in MRS and milk but not in soy *** presumed that three kinds of probable components including organic acids,heat-stable and heat-labile proteinaceous compounds were involved in antibacterial activity of fermented MRS and *** influence of acids on antibacterial activity was pH-dependent and this effect multiplied with thermal treatments seemed *** analyses showed various significant differences of antibacterial activity among five pathogens were observed in pH and heat *** untreated fermented milk showed higher inhibitory activity to Gram-positive pathogenic bacteria than Gram-negative bacteria （P 〈 0.05）,indicating antibacterial substances of fermented milk are greatly different from fermented *** accurate stimulated gastrointestinal transit showed antibacterial substances would have no influence on intestinal *** range of antibacterial substances from pH 2.0 to 6.0 can be potentially used as food biopreservatives and alternative therapeutics.

Interaction between ozone and paternal smoking on fetal congenital heart defects among pregnant women at high risk a multicenter maternal-fetal medicine study

Background Evidence remains limited on the association between maternal ozone(O,)exposure and congenital heart defects(CHDs)in offspring,and few studies have investigated the interaction and modification of paternal smoking on this *** Using a sample including pregnant women at high risk of fetal CHD(with metabolic disease,first-trimester viral infection,family history of CHD,etc.)from a maternal-fetal medicine study covering 1313 referral hospitals in China during 2013-2021,we examined the associations between maternal O_(3)exposure during 3-8 weeks of gestational age and fetal CHD in offspring and investigated the interaction and modification of paternal smoking on this *** was diagnosed by fetal echocardiograms,maximum daily 8-hour average O,exposure data at a 10 km×10 km spatial resolution came from the Tracking Air Pollution in China dataset,and paternal smoking was collected using *** regression models were used to estimate adjusted odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results Among 27,834 pregnant women at high risk of fetal CHD,17.4%of fetuses were diagnosed with *** 10μg/m^(3)increase in maternal O_(3)exposure was associated with a 17%increased risk of CHD in offspring(OR=1.17,95%CI=1.14-1.20).Compared with paternal nonsmoking and maternal low O_(3)exposure,the ORs(95%CI)of CHD for smoking and low O_(3)exposure,nonsmoking and high O_(3)exposure,and smoking and high O_(3)exposure were 1.25(1.08-1.45),1.81(1.56-2.08),and 2.23(1.84-2.71),*** smoking cessation seemingly mitigated the increased risk of *** Maternal O_(3)exposure and paternal smoking were interactively associated with an increased risk of fetal CHD in offspring,which calls for effective measures to decrease maternal exposure to O_(3)pollution and secondhand smoke for CHDprevention.

A deoxidation thermodynamic model for 304 stainless steel considering multiple-components coupled reactions

A thermodynamic model for predicting the equilibrium oxygens of 304 stainless steel was developed based on the theory of slag-steel equilibrium,the law of mass conservation,and the ion and molecule coexistence *** the developed model,the Fe-Cr-Mn-Si-Al-S-O-melts reaction system and CaO-MgO-CaF_(2)-FeO-MnO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-Cr2O_(3)slags were *** oxygen contents calculated by the model are in good agreement with experimental results and reference *** equilibrium oxygen contents in 304 stainless steel mainly decrease with increasing binary basicity(w(CaO)/w(SiO_(2)),where w(i)is the mass percentage of component i)and decreasing *** binary basicity at 2.0 while maintaining temperatures lower than 1823 K will keep the oxygen contents in the 304 stainless steel lower than 15×10^(-6).The equilibrium oxygen contents may also be decreased with increasing content of MgO in slags,which is more significant at lower binary ***,a small amount of FeO,MnO,and Al_(2)O_(3)(about 0-2.5 wt.%)in slags has little effect on equilibrium oxygen ***,it is found that the[C]-[O]reaction may occur during refining process but will not significantly affect the equilibrium oxygen contents.

Enzymatic Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Polycarbonates Derived from 5-Allyloxy-1, 3-dioxan-2-one and 5, 5-Dimethvl-1.3-dioxan-2-one

Novel polycarbonates from 5-allyloxy-1, 3-dioxan-2-one （ATMC） with 5, 5-dimethyl- 1, 3-dioxan-2-one （DTC） were successfully synthesized for the first time using immobilized porcine pancreas lipase （IPPL） as catalyst. The resulting copolymers were characterized by IR, ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR and GPC. The molecular weight （Mn） of the copolymer with molar feed ratio of 10：90 （ATMC：DTC） was 9300 and the polydispersity was 1.31, while the Mn increased to 14300 and polydispersity of 1.25 with the feed ratio of 50：50. Moreover, the composition of the copolymers agreed well with the monomer feed.
